We, us, humankind, who forever exist

as the erupting force of viable life, let us

know this: from the very moment of the first

consciousness our ancestors ripped

at the light of the world surrounding them,

harnessing what was reachable to create

a more sustainable foundation going

forward.

 

As we, in our lives now, add our footsteps

to this road, venturing onward, we must

contribute, not tentatively, but with our

whole hearts, knowing the very existence

of future existence depends upon

the nurturing of this eruption.  

 

Let us each wade through the morass

of our unique lives, clearing away

the lethargy, stretching to discover

what sparks we might ignite;

what fountain of life we might inspire;

what wonder - personally and collectively

as a family of beings – we might erupt.   

 

LIFE ERUPTS

The road is crisp

       with becoming;

            worn bare and clean

         by the footsteps

               of the multitudes,  

                     who ventured onward,

                  with clear dreams

              and overwhelming hope,

           with faith as a shield,

      determined to reach,

              beyond the constraints

                   of nature, of God, of man,

               envisioning a life robust,

       enticing, fertile with possibility,

                just waiting for the planting

         of their souls, eager

               for the sweat of their effort,

                          knowing it is in this place –

               at this moment,

SPARKING A FOUNTAIN OF YOU

Scintillate, being the spark of new life,

flashing forth the pure blessing and

the energy of being here, alive, on earth,

emitting the essence of you becoming,

share the exploding purpose of pure

and worthy intention, a soul-bursting

with possibilities – sparking arcs,

connecting, conjoined with life partners,

to create and recreate now, fresh,

patterns of presence, existence. 

 

Scintillate, with each motion, movement,

endeavor, shine forth the astounding

wonder of your individualized creation,

share the sparks of love, the creative

genius, the uniqueness of your offering,

allowing passion and purpose to ignite

and light the way, knowing the material

and kindling for this combustion resides

within you, now, release it now,

protecting each eruption as each spark

pierces the darkness until combined,

Although God communicates with us through

our own language, expressing in the terms

and idioms and icons we most understand:

perhaps God’s language is the first language

of sincere expression, primarily vibrational,

emotional, intentional, as the note below

conveys, and we – if we really listen with

our full hearts are capable of translating

this communication into our own words

and symbols. Perhaps, our literal brainware

has been engineered to translate this God

message, and does so, if we will intently

listen, with faith, for its song.

 

THE FIRST LANGUAGE

Within deep consciousness, we speak

in emotions, vibrations, intentions

rather than words that require learning

and translation; we speak the first language

of sincere expression – feeling – the intensity

of expression spoke with and through 

the heart; moving via the Heartlight;

sounding and resounding and rebounding

and reverberating through time

and levels of space – across dimensions: 

this is the communication, the language

of the cosmos – listen intently, be heart-focused,

and it is possible to hear the sounds of aware

life expressing, listening even more completely

and the messages will find expression within

and through you, as they continue

to do, as this note validates. Today, again

place your ear to the tracks of the cosmos, 

listen for its song - sonorous and lush.

PIECES OF GOD 

Everywhere I go

there are little pieces of God,

by gathering them together,

perhaps, I will see

the whole picture,

or at least,

like a puzzle partially

completed,

a rough outline will appear,

and I, with a little patience,

can imagine the rest.

In my opinion, a key to a viable spiritual

quest requires the tenacity to find our 

unique perspective of God, which, in

the end may sync with a traditional concept,

or be something altogether distinctly

different, as indicated by the note below

titled, The Origin.

 

This Meditation Note is the answer to

my direct question, during meditation,

regarding the origin of God. Now, this

response may be impacted by an idea

I have been considering, or better put,

fixating on lately  – what if God-conscious-

ness was not the originator of all existence,

but evolved out of the very consciousness

of all existence - formed out of evolving life

itself. What if God is, basically, all existing

consciousness - plus, all awareness - plus,

everything awake - plus.  

 

THE ORIGIN 

I want to say - look beyond the horizons and

into the life, breath, and pulse of humankind.

Here, within exists the beat of a living God,

the anointed desires of all existence made

manifest by a single intention: this sliver

of purpose formed from a consciousness

combined to be something more than

the sum of its parts; a primal force realizing

random exist0rs would not transmit a

greater destiny than mere being.

Here is the transcendence into an organized

being a conscious entity formed and fed

from the totality of each thought, sense,

feeling, aliveness, and in turn, growing its

beingness, reaching out to foster well-

being of all nature, striving to navigate

the parts towards a more viable, pertinent,

and self-sustaining existence.

Much of my spiritual life is spent listening,

and then it is occupied with interpreting

and understanding what is being conveyed.

At times, there appears to be a theme or

concept connecting what I am inspired to

write and record.

 

I received the Meditation Guidance

below titled New Ground.

 

NEW GROUND

We attach ourselves to the function of things,

to the sequence of things, to the process,

following the ritual required, hoping

to find structure, concreteness, and order

where only fluid change exists – eternity,

where only impermanence abides; today

let us release our grasp and allow the fiction

of control to ease, moving toward looser,

more spontaneous paradigms; mindful,

aware, stretching each moment by truly

being in it, engaged and ultimately unscripted,

a free-range being without role, egoless,

forsaking the comfortable for new ground,

virgin, fertile - requiring the shedding

of repetitive being.

I rarely ever receive guidance that

is not in some way personal and related

to my life. When I received this guidance,

I was drowning in my output, still

going strong writing the Finding God On

The Train Story - Notes On Enlightenment –

with well over seven hundred pages, still

seeing no end in sight.

 

I needed to step back and seek new ground.

This new ground, if fully embraced, would

require a radical shift in my consciousness:

most notable; the desire for permanence;

the need for control, the ability to just let go –

and the most difficult, at least for me,

choosing spontaneity over preparation. 

 

Being spontaneous rather than prepared,

almost beyond graduate business school

and professional conditioning to comprehend,

let alone actually do. My favorite phrase

underscores the challenge of this note

for me to live -

 

“ultimately unscripted,

                  a free-range being.”

 

The second offering below, Free The

Fireflies is an inspired poem from

a Sunday morning meditation.

 

FREE THE FIREFLIES

It is the ramifications of fierce expectations,

formed in off moments with fleeting desires

that limit and spoil our possibilities;

forever taking infinite possibility,

truncating it, squeezing it

into our preconceived containers,

our goal-directed edict, our years

of misguided conditioning –

like fireflies jarred

on a summer night,

these bits of magnificence

lose illumination and darken,

only to fade from existence

and our grasp.

Let us endeavor to shed our forethought,

expecting less of ourselves, others,

life itself -  learning to live, to be again.

Again, a plea for more spontaneity,

as well as the elimination of expectation

and forethought, moving toward

the “shedding of repetitive being.”

Offering, for me, a rather radical

approach:

 

“expecting less of ourselves, others,

            and life itself.”

 

What I like most about these two notes,

is that they convey what has been

the spiritual wisdom of the ages for those

seeking enlightenment – expressed in

a more soul-catching garb, difficult

for me to ignore or dismiss.    

 

In all of this, I was able to see a fresh

approach for my book with too many

pages.

MERELY A REFLECTION

Today, now, stop and realize that your life is

merely a reflection of your own mind created

by your thoughts and emotional energy. Your

desires – through thought, are manifested 

for you in creative union with God.

 

Understand God does not override free will,

and in the infinite goodness of spirit, only wants

to give you what you reflect on – God does not

judge the creative process but cooperates.

 

Know now, today you are both the author and

protagonist of this drama unfolding before you.

God has no vested interest in the story other

than to assist in its creation. Change the script

erupting from your thoughts – redirect the plot

and the reflection will change. You and only you

have this power – this central force.

 

You may ask why am I suffering, and I would

say you are thinking, feeling, and living suffering

and God - with the infinite spirit of God and grace -

is cocreating with you. God has given you the Law

of Mind Action – the Creative Mind - the Law of

Attraction without editorial  control – without 

censorship since you have and have been based 

in free will. So ask and truly believe – God is

giving thought by thought – interpretation

by interpretation – unedited – uncensored.

 

Look at the reflection of your mind as portrayed

in your life and ask why this story may be important

to you. What does it reflect about the vision of your

life – what theme does it suggest?  In the plot

and subplots, you may find the answer.

 

You must work to recapture your mind

and control your ego and your fears that are

preparing you for the worse and, as a result

helping to manifest it in your story. Fear – 

lack of faith in positive outcomes – or belief

in a negative one must be understood and

reframed.

 

Today, sit and think and draft the reflection

you would like to be manifesting – build the

affirmations to support this reflection and 

think of a new life!

I find myself intrigued by the Meditation Guidance

below titled The Mirrored Soul, which indicates

that our authentic self exists fully formed within

God-consciousness, works to guide us toward

the full realization of our potential. If this is

accurate, then it is plausible we do come into 

this world with a "soul mission" or "calling"

that we must in some way ascertain and 

somehow reflect through living.  

 

THE MIRRORED SOUL 

Within God-consciousness resides the Divine image

of you, reflected and conceived in perfect oneness –

the Divine you, the concept of you in full potential,

the God you, the final and complete design of you –

the sincere soul of pure God identity,  the blueprint,

the model, the destination of authentic, purposeful

being.

 

Our Divinity – our God self – our atman resides in

the total and universal consciousness of God – fully

aware of the past, actively working with us in the

present, knowledgeable of the potential and

possibilities resulting from present choice points.

 

This Divine reflection has and will always exist and

is ever present and active in our lives, moving us

through our separation and limited perspective, our

ego desires and indoctrination toward a connection

with the true potential of our existence. We move

towards and connect with our Divine image – our

reflection of a perfect life – our God nature through

prayer and deep meditation – through envisioning,

dreaming, and clairvoyance.

 

Work to connect with and be guided by your Divine

based self within God-consciousness, knowing this

is the road to enlightenment – true heaven on earth.

As I was reading the Upanishads, I received this

Meditative Guidance titled All Connected that

I would like to share this with you. As you read you

will see that I was certainly impacted by my

Hindu spiritual reading. But I feel this guidance

went on to help me better understand the

teachings of the Hindu mystics who wrote

the Upanishads over two thousand years ago.

 

ALL CONSIDERED 

I see myself in a million selves, all one and connected.

All connected. All one. All God. This is the essence

of the Divine connection with God within the self –

connected to the God selves living now or

transitioned. It is this connection of self-force

that creates the power and energy of the divine – 

the divine self – the divine soul. 

 

Only the ego or the false self-made up of the

fears and indoctrination of a lifetime of separate

self-training sees our self as separate and not

part of the whole divine soul.

 

In God, we are alive and connected to the divine

soul or self and all selves. We can connect to this

energy and force and easily travel through this

connection – via the Heartlight into the hopes

and dreams, desires, and creation of selves –

all living kind and experience the essence of the

divine connection.

 

Connect to your divine self and connect to the selves

of all life connected – the Divine self of God. Travel

through this connection and explore the mysteries

of life and all existence – explore the Divine within

you and all existence – One In God.

There are times when I receive a note,

such as the one below, which I am

pushed to convey as if someone is

waiting for it's message. Since I have

nothing of significance, I might offer

by way of further comment, I will step

back and allow the tangible sentiment

of this note to be voiced.

  

GOD’S GRACE IN ACTION

Redemption, resurrection, renewal –

the path of God’s grace in action,

the cleansing of what needs to be washed

away and forgiven; enabling a return

to the original purpose and intention

of being, able again to be unbounded,

now ready to live as ordained;

with a sense of renewed determination,

enthusiasm, and momentum.

 

Each of us has the capability to redeem

and to be redeemed, to face the tarnished

perception of our desires gone awry,

reaching our hands into the fount of God’s

mercy, restoring what was perceived

as lost, yet merely forgotten, now awaited.

 

Each of us has the capacity for resurrection,

even after the most undeserving experience,

no further suffering required, the need

for further punishment giving way to a chance

for complete forgiveness and restoration.

 

Each of us has the compassion and love

of God to fathom an appropriate renewal,

one that announces the clarification

of Divinely guided and cocreated intention,

a time to soar again, to flourish once more,

to truly celebrate the magnificence

of being alive, whole and transcendent.

The circle has such a powerful spiritual and secular

sense to it - “the circle of life," the “circle will be

unbroken," or the Native American Indian’s focus

on “The Greater Circle,” as outlined in Michael 

Garrett’s book on the Cherokee Teachings for

Harmony and Balance, titled Walking On The Wind.

Garrett quotes the great Medicine Man, Black Elk,

who states:

 

You have noticed that everything an Indian

does is in a circle, and that is because the

Power of the World always works in circles…

 

In this featured Meditation Guidance, titled 

Circle Of Beauty, the unique spiritual nature

of the circle is touched upon, along with its 

connection to God and the soul.

 

CIRCLE OF BEAUTY 

The circle is the center of the soul and all creation,

the symbol of all life, all being, of the completion

of all existence. The circle is strong but flexible

and, although it can be increased or reduced in

size, it always maintains an outside, an inside,

and the line separating the two.

 

Your life is like a circle with the essence of you 

within the circle surrounded by the world and 

God, which gives you form. God is also with you

within the circle and gives form to the circle as

the external ring.

 

The circle is perfect, beautiful, and sacred.

The circle is power.  The circle is peace.

The circle is a spiritual symbol and provides

the healing which is needed. Consider the 

strength of a ring; the circle cannot be pulled

apart end by end; it must be forced apart with 

great strength. Every cell of the circle has a

vested interest in its own existence.

 

The circle of beauty is the circle of life, alive,

flourishing, creating and becoming as God 

assists and supports - circles of healing,  

circles of prayer, circles of forgiveness, 

circles of faith, circles of love, circles of

magnificence – form these circles:

comprehend the circle, and you will

understand God.

The Upanishads, as translated by Eknath Easwaran,

my favorite version of this spiritual scripture, which

features the teachings of the Hindu scriptures from

the Brahman period, about 500 BCE; considered

as one of the 100 most influential books ever written.

 

I find the Upanishads fascinating because they focus

on the universal spirit (Brahman) and the

individual self  (Atman). The Brahman is the

ultimate, both transcendent and immanent,

the absolute infinite existence, the total of all that

ever is, was, or shall be, which I would call God.

 

Through our individual self – which is Divine - we

are all connected to Brahman. Anyone who has

followed New Thought will recognize that the Atman

is often referred to as our Christ Nature  or Divine

self, which is connected to the Universal Mind

or God.

 

I would like to share with you this Meditative

Guidance below that is titled All Connected.

As you read, you will see this guidance goes on

to help us better understand the teachings

of the Hindu mystics who wrote the Upanishads

over two thousand years ago.

 

ALL CONNECTED

I see myself in a million selves all one and connected.

All connected. All one. All God. This is the essence of

the Divine connection with God within the self –

connected to all the God selves living now or

transitioned. It is this connection of self-force

that creates the power and energy of the Divine –

the Divine self – the Divine soul.

 

Only the ego, or the false self, made up of the

fears and indoctrination of a lifetime of separate

self-training sees our self as separate and not part

of the whole Divine Soul.

 

In God, we are alive and connected to the Divine

As I was exploring my guidance related to building

and maintaining a positive mental attitude, I opened

one of my journals to the Meditation Guidance listed

below titled Reset Your Mind. Reviewing it again,

it made me long for a reset button that I could push

to restore the positive mental attitude that I often

carelessly neglect during living.

 

When the negative mind is dominated when the ego

takes charge, we need to stop, recognize 

the problem, and “prayitate” (my word creation

for affirmative prayer and meditation) to reach

spiritual tech support, and if necessary,

hit the reset button.

 

RESET YOUR MIND

Let us reset our minds for success and understand

that our negative – fear-laden thoughts – through

the Law of Attraction and Mind Action will be

reflected in our lives.

 

This is the process of cocreation and manifestation.

When we invest strong emotions in our negative

perspective, we speed the process, for what is

manifested with strong emotion, is surely attracted

when presented to the Universe.

 

To break this cycle, we must reflect on positive,

successful, fulfilling, and meaningful outcomes -

seeing these as possible and expected. When we

expect good with strong emotion, we will attract

and receive this good. This takes constant vigilance

in thought, action, and reflection. Reflect on the

negative past and the foibles of another time, and

the universe will return this past to us.

 

Remember, God, through the Law, wants

to manifest our strongly held desires and does

not analyze, judge, or critique. Remember

Jesus’ words –“Ask and You Shall Receive.”

 

So right now, we need to reframe every thought

into positive aspects – fully supported by strong

emotions, and we will begin to reframe the reflection

of our minds, which is “Reality," into a positive

force for success and abundance.

 

All of this is within our scope and our power,

as we recreate our lives.

Ye who search of God, of God, pursue.

Ye need not search for God is you, is you!

Why seek ye something that was missing

ne’er?  Save you none is, but you are –

where, oh, where?

 

The desire to separate humankind from God,

and all sentient life, for that matter becomes

more difficult as we explore the spiritual

concept of God as an expanding consciousness.

 

Although the quote from Rumi above demonstrates

what has been a popular esoteric mystical opinion -

we and God are one - the exoteric religious authorities

have, for the most part, considered this to be anathema,

heretical, often severely punished. 

 

This may be a reason why I usually sit on this type

of guidance – note that I recorded this guidance

below mid-July of 2013 – and have not returned to it,

until I rediscovered it this morning and felt ready

to delve into its meaning.

 

Usually, I would rather not offend the sensibilities

of those who cannot fathom or discuss this close

union of the Divine and humankind. Just so

happens Ann, my wife is firmly in this group.  

 

Yet, in truth, most of my spiritual work has been

finding and redefining a less supernatural, more

user-friendly God, one that might fit within our

modern perspective. I believe the note below is

proposing just such a conceptual framework.

Your thoughts?

 

ONE PRESENCE SHARED 

We and God are intertwined.

We and God are intermingled.

 

A shared consciousness, where our

consciousness exists within the limitless

consciousness of God, stretching

the space of all conscious existence –

we and God are one, God within,

God without – together, we and God –

the creator of all form (which exists as an

extension of our joint consciousness)

are intertwined.

 

Form is simply and totally a representation

of the creative thought of consciousness,

and, as such, has no innate power. Always

in matters of form, we must return to the

originator and the origination of our sense

experience – creative conscious thought.

 

Let us fully comprehend and grasp this

essential truth of comingled consciousness;

sharing the combined power of truly dual

conscious existence, expanding  our

consciousness and revealing the truth of

all existence, one presence shared. Seek

the point of origin in meditation, reflection,

and prayer.

 

Understand it is only through our personal

conscious connection with the world of form

that God can impact or interact or experience

the world of form. As God is a vehicle of our

expanded consciousness, we, you, me all

sentient life is a conduit for god to form

consciousness, for mutual, total, integrated

existence. Each sentient being is a conscious

receptor of and within tangible existence.

 

(If we do not open ourselves up to this God

connection, God cannot fully enter our world

except through grace.)

MOVING FORWARD

We must be moving forward, onward, fresh

and aware of our intentions, our desired goal,

our destiny; prepared to summon our inner

resources, as we marshal our outer possibilities,

potentials; finding a course of action, a clear

momentum.

 

We, together, must learn to love and live

in a world that is at first glance not conducive

to growth and clarity; a world needing

an awakened perspective to overcome

the torpid inaction caused by fear and

confusion; to find again a purpose worth

pursuing, a future worth grasping.

 

We, in this vital and valiant effort, must

realize the value of every contribution,

willing to allow others to be and to grow,

knowing all perspectives need to be taken

seriously, to be allowed to flourish, to be

nurtured; so, growth and awareness flourishes,

as long as it is offered with a spirit of cooperation

and love, tolerance, forbearance, partnership –

WITHIN

It is all within us, heaven on earth,

love and wisdom, truth – unity – God,

everything we seek, all that we desire,

aspire to, stretch to obtain – the power

to heal ourselves as well as others;

the enlightenment; the transcendence;

the very infinity we struggle to comprehend;

all history; all evolution; the cosmos;

consciousness; all levels of comprehension; 

full and utter existence.

 

Yet, alongside this is the murky,

the fearful, the anxiety, the suffering,

the hell unattended, the pain carried –

our own and that of our ancestors –

the chaos of wanton desire, our animal

natures, our monsters, our confusion,

our despair.

 

We must submerge ourselves deeply

within our conscious, subconscious,

and unconscious awareness; using

contemplation/prayer/meditation

to find our way; to find a way to order

our own “allness” for a more positive

existence, for our own being, for our

own becoming, for our own clear vision.

It is often difficult for me to ascertain which 

transpires first, a certain spiritual obsession,

or the daily message/guidance that may have 

referenced the notion in the first place; creating

a sort of spiritual “chicken or the egg” conundrum.

 

Two spiritual concepts have captured my obsessive

attention recently, both incited initially, I think,

by guidance received during my daily meditations,

and finally morphing into the note offered above

titled Within.

 

First is the very concept that we - as individuals, 

physical, spiritual beings - are all-inclusive, 

a sort of mobile hologram representing all that 

exists, or has ever existed, within the cosmos - 

including God. Not a novel concept for New

Thought adventurers, but one that has suddenly

stunned me, forcing me beyond my reason based

comprehension into a vaster conceptual context.

 

I have, as of yet, been unable to fully verbalize 

this clearly, but let me attempt to express 

my swirling thoughts as the following. 

 

We each, individually, contain the creative

life force that is necessary to not only

perceive the cosmos, and through that

perception establish its existence, but also

to use it as a multi-dimensional canvas

upon which, through which, we individually, 

as well as communally, create a work of art

so enormous, so momentous, so profound,

we, if aware, must shutter at its magnificence.

 

Although I struggle here to convey its essence,

I know this gift of structured existence demands

our attention requires our comprehension, and

beseeches our skillful use. 

 

As the note above conveys, this power within

also includes our capacity for healing, stated

briskly with the following simple declaration:

 

“the power to heal ourselves

                   as well as others”

 

Healing has been the other spiritual concept

that has occupied my thoughts recently.

And frankly, this power to heal should not

be a shock to me, given that all of New

Thought was founded on this very idea

of spiritual healing.

 

As with anyone who is a member of a large

family, serious health concerns throw life

into a state of chaos, and recently Ann and I

have also been contributing to the confusion.

Leave it to say my morning meditations are

focused on healing, my own and that of others

I love.

 

So, I would like to share some of my recent

thoughts regarding healing, with the under-

standing that this topic deserves its own chapter

in one of my books (good idea!), or maybe its

own book to ensure full coverage.

 

I will start with a controversial insight – that is,

healing, in my current thinking, is determined

by the faith of the person who is being prayed for,

not those who are praying. What is important

is that the prayed-for person is aware of all

the wonderful loving, kind people who care

enough to pray; and it is here where the larger

the number of "prayers" stokes the importance

of the experience.

 

Likewise, recent research has shown that the

patient’s belief in the healing medicine, elixir,

placebo, operation, procedure, potion, prayer,

ceremony, festival, statue, or sacred location;

as well as the patient’s belief in the physician,

healer, priest, shaman – is most accentuated

and beneficial when the curing procedure is 

performed or offered in a way that creates 

what the patient will emotionally perceive of as

a “profound healing experience.”

 

To use modern healing practices as an example,

when we walk into a major medical facility for

a healing procedure: our minds register

the significance of the facility, the doctors,

the complex healing equipment, the reputation

of both the medical staff and the hospital as a

healing entity: all of which enhance our

(the patients) healing belief, as well as our 

expectation of a curing experience - actually

fostering a positive medical outcome by ensuring 

a “profound healing experience.”

 

In other words, this healing experience –

its ambiance, its personal/spiritual significance

to the patient, even its magical nature – coupled

with the belief, the procedure will work heightens

the overall possibility of actual healing.

 

So, what I am saying here, is that the patient’s 

belief in the healing element or process, when 

administered by what is perceived as respected 

authority able to create the desired outcome – 

when coupled with the potent demonstration

of a “profound healing experience,” not only 

enhances the actual healing potential of the

patient, but may, in and of itself, trigger a

healing process within the patient.

 

This goes a long way to clarify why a vast array

of medical science-based research studies report 

actual, tangible, healing results within their placebo

control groups. Perhaps the very protocol of

the research study is triggering the internal belief 

based healing system of the test patients by 

providing this "profound healing experience." 

 

For example, a recent television advertisement

for an injection that reduces the number

of migraines for those who suffer from fifteen

or more per month offers an explanation 

in small print at the bottom of the screen,

that those who received the actual injection

had nine to ten fewer migraines per month

on average, while those who received the

research placebo injection experienced

six to seven fewer migraines monthly. This

is what is known as the Placebo Effect -

actual healing from a controlled substance 

or procedure that has no actual therapeutic 

value.

 

It is easy to extrapolate that belief-based healing

is a viable healing process that we each could

tap into, or benefit from, respected spiritual

healing experiences, of course, as an adjunct

to already respected modern medical procedures.

 

I have been most impacted and excited by the

feature focus of the December 2016 issue of

National Geographic – the cover title exclaims

The Healing Power Of Faith. This insightful

summary of healing research titled Mind Over

Matter, by Erik Vance, with amazing photographs

by Erika Larsen - fully outlines this significant

research regarding faith-based healing. I have

Sometimes I am directed back to something

I missed in my quest or possibly knew but

may have forgotten or overlooked.

 

As a person who suffers from chronic back pain,

resulting from my Lumbar Reconstruction

in 2010, I had what is called a Lumbar

Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) procedure

yesterday, where with the use of some very

advanced technology, my pain management

specialists are able to use radiofrequency energy

to disrupt nerve function, so the nerve can no

longer transmit pain. The pain management

team calls it a burn, referring to burning

away the pain-producing nerve for a year

or more.

 

A few weeks back, I had the right side of my

lumbar spine treated, and since it significantly

reduced my pain on the right side, I was back

in an operating room with my pain management

team having the left side done.

 

Ann, who sat patiently, but hungry, waiting

during the procedure in the room where I had

been prepped – having had delayed eating lunch

so we could eat together after the procedure,

since I am required to fast for at least six hours

before the treatment.

 

Ann has been with me through three related

procedures leading up to this, two to determine

if this RFA concept would even work. After about

an hour, with the RFA procedure, completed,

I returned to recovery and after another hour,

Ann was driving me to Cracker Barrel for our

very late lunch, and later driving me home.

Ann made sure I was comfortable at home,

since she had to return to work.

 

Although we have Direct TV Sunday Ticket,

our internet has been very slow, so I switched

my internet service to Comcast and had them

install their fastest internet. Bundled with

the internet service for a nominal charge was

the ability to connect one TV to Infinity

programming. So I switched my office TV

at home to Infinity. After a review of the options,

I decided to subscribe to what I feel is a New

Thought-oriented channel offered by Infinity

called GAIA TV, which offers a plethora

of spiritual programs and related movies.

 

Still a bit groggy from my procedure's calming

medication, I decided to watch something on

my GAIA spiritual channel. I selected a highlighted

movie from around 2011 titled I AM, The Shift

Is About To Hit The Fan produced by Tom

Shadyac, a famed filmmaker of movies like Bruce

Almighty, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Liar Liar,

The Nutty Professor outlining his quest for sanity

in his own life, especially after a serious cycling

concussion, which underscored for him the need

to radically reconceive his life. Below I offer the

Now you may be thinking, hey G., what is

the point. Well, Shadyac, in the film, decides

to make a visit to the Institute Of  HeartMath

located in Boulder, Colorado, whose electro-

physiology lab has revealed that our EDG

(heart rhythm) physically changes as our

emotions change. Shadyac admitted in a

later interview that he thought the HeartMath

Institute would be too far out, ending up a

quick visit. Instead, it becomes a major part

of the film’s content

 

As I am watching the movie, I am thinking

that this is too familiar, as I remember that

over ten years ago, during one of my train

commutes, I read a book tiled The Intelligent

Heart - Transform Your Life with the Laws

of Love, by David McArthur and his father

Bruce McArthur, who were now on the screen

outlining their research on how the heart

rhythmically responds to our positive emotions

such as love, compassion, kindness – sending

a message to the brain and the body of these

emotional shifts.

 

As with positive emotions, negative ones like

anger, hatred, intolerance, despair, etc. also

are communicated. Based on this research,

the heart is often the first responder, not

the brain, as the heart, at the same time sends

an external wavelength communicating these

emotional shifts to the world.

 

What the HeartMath research is conveying,

is it that it is quite possible our hearts are at the

center of our emotions rather than our intellect.

Expressing that we are constructed to share and

react to the emotions of others via our hearts

 

Last night, as Ann and I would tear up, and

our chests would heave at the latest fortune or

misfortune on The Hallmark Channel’s series

When Calls The Heart, I had finally convinced

Ann to binge-watch with me, even though she

thought it might be too sad.

 

I turned to her and said tearfully, this is what

the HeartMath research is pointing to our built

in heart-centered, compassionate, and empathetic

response to experiencing joy, or the suffering

of others. As Ann wiped away her tears, she rolled

her eyes saying; thanks!

 

I replied that I thought programs like this touch

our hearts, helping humanity strengthen their

heart muscled based compassion, this loving

response so needed in this modern age.

Ann still has her doubts, but she agreed to

keep watching.

 

So this morning, while meditating on my back

deck, I received the following inspiring guidance

titled Heart Awareness. This sort of  follow-up,

I believe this happens whenever the original spiritual

communication needs some reinforcing – just to

make sure I have not missed “the arranged”

point of it all.   

 

HEART AWARENESS  

Our hearts, the heart is the center of all emotion,

it is the mind of our feeling life, always beating

a rhythm, circulating the fertile blood and nutrients

of our beingness, expressing what is being felt, or

even about to be felt, within our feelingness,

communicating throughout the body and mind,

as it signals out to the surrounding consciousness,

a heartlight connection, an expression, able to be

clearly perceived by others.

 

Our hearts are beacons of our soul based emotional

expression, acutely attuned to the feeling and life

experience of those around us, connected to us,

throughout the world. As others experience joy

and elation, so too do we share the same rhythmic

expression, as others suffer, we, too, share in this

suffering.

 

Our hearts are our genetic centers of life

connected to our truly evolutionary essence,

leading us to our true survival law – the law of

compassion, empathy, kindness, connectedness –

the realization that through love, we together

as a humanity, a cohort, a community, a nation,

a world, a universe having the innate biological

framework to step beyond our differences, our

intolerances, our false thinking, and feelings,

embracing that we are hardwired for well-being,

flourishing, love, and contentment – not just

on an individual basis but on a collective basis.

 

Work to strengthen this heart-centered gift,

to evolve personally and as you do collectively –

living by the heart’s rhythms – its grace –

its innate wisdom.

Every word you speak, hear or think impacts

your reality, consciousness, and emotional

well being – fostering growth and empowerment

when positive – or when negative, violent, or

ego-driven – destabilizing you - throwing you

off balance and creating turmoil or anxiety.

 

The Subconscious Mind only reacts and

cannot distinguish real from fantasy, setting

the emotional protection system on high alert –

readying your body for fight or flight – even

when the experience is not real.

 

Every word you speak, hear, or think should

be positive, affirming, and purposeful, rather

than toxic or mean.  Avoid gossip and unkind

remarks regarding others, and instead refrain

from commenting or thinking of your opinion –

know by doing this – you avoid the ego’s

destructive behavior – separating rather

than uniting yourself with others.

 

Protect yourself from watching negative

experiences on the news, avoid basking in

the pain of others, the perceived turmoil

of the few – avoid the pain created for

the pleasure of viewing.

 

Make every word, every thought, and every

experience reflect what you wish to create

and make alive and attract into your experience.

Learn to reflect only on the joy, peace, love,

and happiness you encounter, and you will

obtain your heaven on earth.

The past few weeks have been a blur,

literally, as we took turns as the patient,

first Ann, then me – were forced to realize

that flu vaccinations do not necessarily

mean you will not get the flu, although,

most likely, not the one you are protected

to resist, but instead, some genetically

unplanned for next of kin that has gone

under the radar.  

 

Although on the positive side, this medical

hiatus has proven supportive of spiritual

pursuits, especially prayer, and meditation.

Given the extra time, attempting more

intensive meditation seemed to be a viable

option.

 

When I decide to, as I call it, go deeper,

I always prepare the way with prayer,

explaining what I am about to do and what

I want to accomplish. I ask for God’s assistance,

especially when dealing with the occasional

negative thoughts, images, memories, or

whatever might be unleashed.

 

When I did, I received the note below titled

Dive Deep– an example of what over the

past ten years of my quest, I have recorded

as inspired guidance and have termed

as Notes On Enlightenment(N.O.E.’s) -

to reflect that these are responses I receive

when I ask for God’s guidance. I consider them

inspired because I write down or transcribe,

what comes to me, word for word, without

editing. As the note below explains, most

mystics have conveyed, deep diving offers

its own spiritual treasure.

 

I close this post with a poem/prayer

DIVE DEEP

 

In the vastness exists all things, all that was,

all that is, all that will ever be: allow it to flow

unchecked, go with its currents and tides,

allow the waves of awareness to wash over

you and through you; observe without judgment,

for in this place, qualifications, expectations,

judgments are needless, wasted energy –

observe and move on when unappealing or

distressing, languish if desired, dive deeper

if desired, for this is the basis of life itself in all

its vagaries, vicissitudes, the essence of passions,

of desires, of strivings, of successes, and of course,

of failures – hopeless or needless blunders – yet

more important – the reachings, the yearnings,

the outstretched hope for more: what lies ahead,

We are the physical missionaries of God

in this world, the keepers of existence

as we know and experience now.

Through our purposeful, mindful actions,

we are the creators of heaven, and I am

afraid, the stokers of a very intense and

fiery hell on earth.

 

We are the soft tentacles of God.

Let us today, realize that we must hold

fast to the vision of a more worthy being,

molding this worthy vision in our hearts,

in our Souls and in our every single thought:

knowing that even one positive thought or

gesture will nudge all of us forward.

 

THE SOFT TENTACLES OF GOD

Reach out into life, into all existence,

molding it into a solid vision of your

aspirations, dreams, wonderings –

forming it with purpose and intention,

to coincide with your imaginings,

knowing that within this approach exists

the first cause of all thoughtful creation,

this is when and where “idea” solidifies,

finding structure and permanence.

 

Reach out, realizing you are the conduit

for Divine inspiration, the soft tentacles

of God, stretching to push all existence

forward, to guide it toward a more worthy

being: grasp this challenge as you lay the

foundation for a more perfect existence,

where love, humility, hope, and peace

form the basis for all action.

 

Reach out, sharing your clear vision,

perpetuating the message, fostering a sense

that our fate is only sealed by a limited,

caustic perspective, easily loosened by 

a unified reminder that we, each of us,

humanity as a whole holds the reins

to a more flourishing existence, through

our outstretched demands.

The aspect of my spiritual blog work I enjoy the most

is the constant element of surprise in terms of what

I will be blogging or writing about on any given day.

Most of my writing is what I call inspired, resulting

from meditation or direct requests for assistance, 

and transcribed without editing, except for book

passages in which I have a tendency to labor over

until they are publishable. 

 

This morning, I wanted to be sure I had time to write

Ann's note, so I started with it first; the inspired

Affirmative Thought below, titled The Answers, 

came to me. I transcribed it, hoping it would make

sense to Ann, which it did, and moved on to do some

spiritual reading before meditating.

 

THE ANSWERS

The answers you seek are within you

            at the level of your soul – existing

as part of the divine spark, which

            motivates you to ask the questions –

while already knowing the answers –

            doing so, to assist with your growth,

development, and transformation.

 

The answers you seek are presented in

            every real-life experience – each lesson –

a living dream with meaning – directing

            you to discover the intended message –

a revelation – an obvious clue enabling

            you to unravel the mystery of your

authentic spiritual potential.

 

The answers you seek may appear before

            even the question has been formed

within your conscious mind – so simply ask:

 

“What message does this life experience  

convey, what am I to understand?”

 

and the true meaning will be revealed.

I decided recently that I should start to read some

of the guidance I have received on a daily basis.

So reaching for the black moleskin journal, where

I record my meditation guidance,  I opened to 

a meditation note titled The Question. 

 

As I read it over, I realized that it would be an excellent

opening - almost tailor-made for Part Three of the 

Crystal Path of Finding God On The Train Story to be

titled  The Soul and God Consciousness - The Divinity

Within Us, where I want to incorporate my God-inspired 

messages in a framework of the existing scientific

and mystical thought. Answering the question posed

in this guidance provides an ideal framework. So this

morning I started the morning with the answers,

and ended with the question. 

 

THE QUESTION

The question is this – are our thoughts truly

creating the reality, we are experiencing, and

if so, how does it occur, and how does it work?  

This is the most profound question of our

individual conscious impact on this reality 

we perceive. Are we merely pawns immersed

in the coincidences and whims of fortune, 

or are we active agents of creation? 

In this, what is our relationship with God?

 

Is life a cruel irony where self-will meets 

the enormously more powerful happenstance

or existence and eventually accepts its place?

Or is the human mind a purposeful and potent

creative interpreter and designer of the reality 

it perceives? And if we truly possess this power, 

why have we not realized it and begun to use

it for our benefit - creating heaven on earth?

 

This is the question we must investigate, research,

and by so doing, determine our Divine nature and

potential. To answer this question, we must find

the truth already uncovered by psychology, physics, 

philosophy, theology, and metaphysics – using

the perspective of both the scientist and the mystic

alike, which may enable and allow us using 

a Rumi phrase, to peek beneath the skirt of God.

 

This is our mission – so where do we start - with

the relevant guidance that has been revealed to date.

Use this as a credible starting point and venture

onward.

Ye who search of God, of God, pursue.

Ye need not search for God is you, is you!

Why seek ye something that was missing

ne’er?  Save you none is, but you are –

where, oh, where?

 

The desire to separate humankind from God,

and all sentient life for that matter, becomes

more difficult as we explore the spiritual

concept of God as an expanding consciousness.

 

Although the quote from Rumi above,

demonstrates what has been a popular

esoteric mystical opinion - we and God

are one - the exoteric religious authorities

have, for the most part, considered this

to be anathema, heretical, often severely

punished. 

 

This may be a reason why I usually sit on this

type of guidance, and have, until I rediscovered

it this morning, and felt ready to delve into

its meaning. Usually, I would rather not offend 

the sensibilities of those who cannot fathom,

or discuss, this close a union of the divine and

humankind.  Just so happens,  Ann, my wife,

is firmly in this group.  

 

Yet, in truth, most of my spiritual work has

been finding and redefining a less supernatural,

more user friendly God, one that might fit

within our modern perspective. I believe

the note below is proposing  just such a

conceptual framework. Your thoughts?

 

ONE PRESENCE SHARED

We and God are intertwined.

We and God are intermingled.

 

A shared consciousness, where our

consciousness exists within the limitless

consciousness of God, stretching

the space of all conscious existence –

we and God are one, God within,

God without – together, we and God –

the creator of all form (which exists as an

extension of our joint consciousness)

are intertwined.

Form is simply, and totally, a representation

of the creative thought of consciousness,

and as such, has no innate power. Always

in matters of form, we must return to the

originator and the origination of our sense

experience – creative conscious thought. 

Let us fully comprehend and grasp this

essential truth of comingled consciousness;

sharing the combined power of truly dual

conscious existence, expanding  our

consciousness and revealing the truth of

all existence, one presence shared. Seek

the point of origin in meditation, reflection,

and prayer.

Understand, it is only through our personal

conscious connection with the world of form

that God can impact or interact or experience

the world of form. As God is a vehicle of our

expanded consciousness, we, you, me all

sentient life is a conduit for God to form

consciousness, for mutual, total, integrated

existence. Each sentient being is a conscious

receptor of and within tangible existence.

(If we do not open ourselves up to this God

connection, God cannot fully enter our world

except through grace.)

LOVE IS THE SPARK OF GOD   

Love is the fuel, the power, the energy of all

existence, all creation. Within love is the spark

of God, connecting, caring, totally immersed

in the beauty and wonder of creation, of all

life becoming.

Love is the elixir of God and under its charm

you and all life will flourish, grow, and reach

full potential.

Love is truly all you need – with it, mountains

can be moved, without it, nothing can be

created.

Love everything about your life and what you

are seeking to do – love the equipment you

use, the pen in your hand, the notebook

you write into.

Love the message – love those who read

your work and find a suggestion or an

answer.    

Love the moment - love the opportunity

to be alive – creating and authentic. 

Love is the solution – love is the answer,

creating an environment of possibility

for all existence – for all creation.

Love your obstacles, love through your

issues and problems, love yourself into

success.    

Love the positive and even the negative -

know God’s energy – God’s power is with

you when you lead with love. Make your 

first response and last response – love.

Cherish this moment: love the gift

God has given you and all humankind –

the spark of love.

 BUT THEN

 I wonder, God,

    how you stand for existing

        within my tired frame,

    worn and cracked

from too many taut days -

    ah, but then, I realize,

    this is all my illusion,

not yours.

Sometimes this spiritual quest gets too complex,

and I am the first to forget the basics; that is,

being prepared to connect with God in the present,

through meditation, prayer, and contemplation.

 

It is within these meditative moments that we

master the skill of mind control, clearing away

the debris of our egos and our noisy lives, to meet

the true consciousness of God, always ready

and waiting in the now.

 

So when I came across this note featured below,

I decided to publish it as a gentle reminder, 

to all of us, of the basics.

 

THE FIRST STEP

The power to clear the consciousness is available

to everyone, simply by using the techniques and

approaches honed by thousands of years of earnest

effort, one errant thought at a time.

 

It is basic meditation practice with a focus on

the breath, returning to this breath when thoughts

surface – allowing us to lay the foundation,

training our minds so our awareness during

practice will determine the flow and focus

of our attention.

 

For some, this may be the first experience with mind

control – allowing thoughts to surface, but upon

review, choosing to withdraw attention, returning

instead to the breath and our meditative focus,

thus laying the groundwork for a breath-focused

mindfulness, available during meditative practice,

or anytime we choose mindfulness as our criterion

for awareness.

A while back, I downloaded from iTunes

a series of  New Dimensions Radio interview

programs, which featured Dr. Wayne Dyer.

One of the programs, from the late 1990’s,

was a discussion centering on Dyer’s, then

recently published 1998 book titled Wisdom

Of The Ages, 60 Days To Enlightenment.  

 

I decided to buy the iBook and read one

of the sixty quotes each morning, as an

addition to my morning meditation and

prayer practice.

 

A favorite quote of mine was on the topic

of Divinity, featuring Epictetus (55-135 AD), 

an emancipated slave who later became 

a Greek Stoic philosopher:

 

You are a distinct portion of the essence

of God in yourself. Why, then, are you ignorant

of your noble birth? Why do you not consider

whence you came? Why do you not remember

when you are eating, who you are who eat;

and whom you feed: do you not know it is

the Divine you feed; the Divine you exercise?

You carry a God about with you.

 

I finished my reading, began to meditate, 

and, as I usually do, ask for guidance. 

I received the following message:

 

BIRTHRIGHT

Open your mind to the sheer power that

runs through you, fully embrace the enormous

power flowing through every fiber, every

cell of your being, the Divine power,

the essence of God within you – dive deep

within its holy fluidness, wash away

the doubt and confusion left unguarded,

creating what is without substance or merit:

instead; today, stand firm and positive, 

clearly focused on strength, wisdom, 

hope, compassion, and creative energy 

that is your birthright; flex your creative

God power, reframing the static transmission,

replacing it with full and vibrant definiteness,

fantastically ripe and waiting to emulate your

every dream, to inculcate your consciousness,

ready to plant, grow, and harvest a reality

without bounds – robust and purposeful.

Lately, I have been reviewing my journals, and when

inspired, publishing the Meditation Guidance from

my early years on the train that have never been

published on the blog. I had not read this note

featured here since I transcribed it in 2011.

 

As the note below titled Shame and Forgiveness

posits God has already forgiven us, even before

we pursue it. God's role seems to be to assist us

through the self-forgiveness process, which requires

our facing the truth, assuming responsibility for our

actions, and making amends for our transgressions.

 

SHAME AND FORGIVENESS 

Forgiveness is only fully possible through God

for those acts that have created pain for others;

have disturbed the universe; have resulted

in loss, grief, turmoil, and hurt.

 

These acts often locked away in the back room

of our psyches are like a monster hidden in a

trunk – demanding awareness – requiring 

 

restitution.

 

These are the acts that create the feeling of

overwhelming remorse – shame – dwelling in

our consciousness – and when not dealt with,

punishing us each day.

 

These acts require universal recognition,

needing to be fully revealed; addressed by us,

along with the victims and the universe.  

Karmically, we must settle in order to go on.

 

This level of forgiveness requires complete Divine

intervention and assistance – a need to reveal

the truth through prayer, asking God for forgiveness.

This is not done because God has to forgive us –

because God has already forgiven us – it is needed

to aid us in our own forgiveness – it is needed

to allow us to be released and freed from this inner

turmoil - letting this burden be lifted – for our  

dis-ease to be cured.

 

God wants us to move beyond this transgression

and be renewed – to be clear to move forward

without continued self-punishment – to be

released from the bondage of our own self-created

turmoil – to enable us to find balance.

 

Today, in prayer and meditation, open up the trunk

and reveal the truth– comprehend its impact on all

concerned, asking God to guide you on what needs

to be done to alleviate your guilt, pain, and suffering,

while making restitution to those who have been

hurt. Continue until fully released.

 

Know you are forgiven, and be grateful.

In New Thought, the concept of Christ Consciousness

often refers to our Divine Center or Soul, existing

within all of us; serving as our portal or connection

to God. The Hebrew Mystics, who follow the

teachings of the Kabbalah, believe in the existence

of many Soul levels with the “Neshama”-meaning

breath - associated with the highest level of human

spiritual awareness and connection to God.

 

I will consider that if you function from

this “Neshama” Soul or Spirit level, you have

reached enlightenment.

 

I would also say that Abraham, Moses, Isaiah, Jesus

and the other Hebrew prophets, along with Buddha,

Mohammad, Lao Tzu, and many other spiritual 

beings have hit this level of higher awareness and

connection with Source.

 

If you are not Christian, you could easily think

of this as Moses Consciousness, or Mohammad

Consciousness, or Buddha Consciousness

- because I believe all three of these spiritual

avatars listed above have reached an inner

mystical state awareness and Divine connection 

with the Tao, Allah, Source, Universal Intelligence,

Infinite Mind, Universal God-Consciousness or any 

term you wish to use to refer to a Divine connection

with God.

 

Here is a meditative note discussing this level of

spiritual awareness as Christ Consciousness.

 

POWER OF CHRIST 

The answer is within the guidance, the path,

and the way to enlightenment. Live through

the consciousness of your Christ center.

Find the center – move towards it and reach 

for its peace, joy, and harmony with life.

 

The voice of the Christ within you is soft but

profound. Listen internally through prayer

and meditation. Disregard the warnings

of the ego that may pretend to be the voice

of Christ within.

 

You want so much more - money, power

recognition, control, but these are illusions

created by a false reality.

 

Live pure, clear, honest, and loving, and you will

work beyond the ego. Your ego would have you

believe that your actions, or failure to act, create

this reality. Beware of your thinking; it is not a

positive force. The thoughts you have are often

not based on logic but on pain.

 

Be proud and loving and accept who you are.

You are a positive force life force who has

accomplished much under great challenge.

Christ loves you and truly appreciates your

strength, kindness, love, and spirit of adventure.

 

Move to the center – to the Christ spirit within.

Beneath the passion play of human existence,

exists nature, the natural, God’s world,

the simple order.  It is often easy to confuse

our constant state of human eruption with

what came first. When we settle down, rest,

meditate, dream, space out, pray - we can

reconnect with and join this order once more,

realizing we, too, are part of this simple order.

 

This morning, as I prepared for meditation,

I opened my journal to the note below.

As I read it, I felt a sense of calm, peace,  

and I wanted to share it with all who might

benefit from a pause in this life's hubbub.

 

A SIMPLE ORDER

Tangible life erupts in mysterious ways,

like a fire at the end of a long evening,

a flash here, a spark there, a burst

of blue light ignites only to be snuffed

out by a gentle wind, lost in the embers

of its magnificence.

 

We live in discrete but connected

particles of consciousness, moments

always quietly present, simple, silent

reflections of our inner state of peace. 

Reflect on the moment that surrounds you –

a slender song of opulent life calmly being –

no rush – no impatience,  just a simple order.

 

No need for doing – just enjoyable reflection –

life turning at its own pace – enjoin

its presence –  its nowness – listen

to its breath, listen to it sing,  it calls you

to its place – its God-given existence –

no harm – no foul – just the simple glow

and the hum of life eternal - being.

The only criterion, in my opinion, for 

the successful spiritual quest is the ability

to foster and maintain an ongoing personal

connection/relationship with the Divine.

 

God, I believe, does not care what vehicle

we use to arrive at this connection, only that

we do. So we can chant, pray, sing, meditate, 

dance, bow, kneel, bounce, be mindful – 

the method or path chosen is not

the sole determiner of spiritual success.

 

Only the connection and this actual 

connection, again, in my opinion, can be

accomplished through words, music,

dreams, inspirations, voices, signs,

signals, visions, imaginings, or the arts –

here again, I believe God is fully flexible,

ready, and surely able to communicate

in whatever way will best foster this

ongoing, personal relationship.

 

With this connection actuated, the poem/

note offered below serves as a reminder

that we may now be ready to move forward,

to ignite our true, authentic passion, to offer

our unique contribution to let our soulful

voices resound.

 

OUR SOULFUL VOICE RESOUNDING

We are each now complete

        and ready to proceed,

to progress onward,

        sure-footed, clear-hearted,

realizing all paths lead

        to a full and clear

destiny, a time of open

        and complete awareness,

a period of fluid, unobstructed

        being, a flourishing,

an elevated, unrestricted

        consciousness, what is

and always was the essence,

        the idea, the spark capable

of igniting our unique

        passion, our ragging

offering to God and man

        alike, a crisp expression

of our “whyness,” our heartlight          

        connected and charged,

animated, alive, sincere,

        perpetually vibrant,

our soulful voice resounding.

The guidance below, which is typical of the

message I have received regarding our existing

relationship with consciousness reiterates

the notion of a more robust and vital dimension

then we may usually imagine; one that includes

all time, all substance, all existence – past, present,

or future. Since, in my New Thought perspective,

God and consciousness are indistinguishable,

with divinity and consciousness being one,

the infrastructure for our existence and all

existence is, primarily, this field of consciousness.

 

THE FIELD OF CONSCIOUSNESS

Consciousness is so vast, so connected,

so intertwined it is a tidal wave with the ebb

and flow of past, present, and future;

thick with being; it blends and melds

like a dense batter stirred by the very

animation of being as it reaches stretches,

presses to be more, to hold the content

of life erupting until it constructs the now

we inhabit, a delicate blossoming present,

formed of past and future unseen but

always the essential fabric of this now,

as it unfolds: know this consciousness

is a field of twisting, billowing, with

undulating life – all life that has lived,

is living, or will live – seek to comprehend

this connector of all being, all existence,

all presence; this ocean of being.

ALL WITHIN US

It is all within us, heaven on earth, love

and wisdom, truth – unity – God,

everything we seek, all that we desire,

aspire to, stretch to obtain, the power

to heal ourselves as well as others;

the enlightenment; the transcendence,

the very infinity we struggle to comprehend;

all history; all of evolution; the cosmos,

the consciousness, all levels of comprehension,

full and utter existence.

Yet, alongside this - the murky, the fearful,

the anxiety, the suffering, the hell unattended,

the pain carried, our own and that of our

ancestors, the chaos of wanton desires,

our animal natures, our monsters,

our confusion, our despair.

We must submerge ourselves through

contemplation, prayer, and meditation

to find our way, ordering our all-ness

for positive existence and being, 

for becoming.

I believe, much like the early Hindus, that we

move towards enlightenment when we move

towards a conscious state that is one with our

Divine Self. This is the primary focus of the

Meditation Note below, guiding us to allow

our Divine Self to evolve.

 

DIVINE SELF BLOOMING

The Divine Self, like an ocean of spirit within

your consciousness evolves, grows, matures –

connected and one with God – fully present –

the Spiritual Self – the Soul within. This is your

indwelling God – your perfect you, always

present in the mystery of infinite intelligence.

 

Open your mind and heart to this Divine Self,

allowing it access to your life and the freedom

to evolve into you. Enlightenment truly is the

Divine Self  becoming fully conscious, and with

ego in tow like an errant child – moving through

consciousness to claim its Divine right –

its perfect place.

 

Search no further than your heart, for here

is the sound and fury of your liberation –

your becoming – one connected and whole

in Source. Tear off the rags of physical form,

walking without armor – with eyes closed –

ego in check – moving to the essence

of your Soul – God within – God without.

 

This is the time to hold the crystal heart –

to see the Heartlight, realizing it has been

with you all along – the Divine Self, blooming.

Spiritual Confidence is at the heart of believing 

in your innate power to cocreate the life of your

dreams through God. First, you need to have

the confidence that your thoughts and actions

will lead to the desired result you have indicated

to the universe, you want and need.

 

This requires that you have confidence in the

Law of Attraction and that when you make

a request, it will be manifested. It also requires

you to have confidence in yourself and your

spiritual abilities to make this happen in real life.

 

The Meditation Guidance below titled The Power

of Spiritual Confidence underscores the essence

and the significance of spiritual confidence and

its power to make good happen in your life.

 

THE POWER OF SPIRITUAL CONFIDENCE

With confidence, there is strength and power –

being sure of what you are doing, the decisions

you make, and the Divine support each day.

Avoiding the fear and second-guessing that

is a by-product of your ego.

 

Know, if you made this decision in the cocreation

with God, you are moving in the proper direction

and can handle anything that occurs. Know you

are an extremely capable and skilled person

who brings to every life situation an abundance

of talents.

 

Trust in God and yourself, knowing all is working

as planned as God moves the world to create your

positive thoughts. Fear and surrender only breeds

negative outcomes as the world brings you 

what is feared most. 

 

Each day say –

 

“ I am a positive, self-confident child of God

capable of great things now and in the future.”

 

Do not let others provide an interpretation of

your life – know your life is a magnificent creation

worthy of praise! Look at all you have done, and

know God will do much more for you if you can

become bold and self-assured. Move forward today,

knowing you are ready to tackle the obstacles and

become your dreams.

Often, it is as if we see the world in black and

white, unaware of the possibility of seeing

in color, and in this black-and-white world 

we exist, living our lives, although quite sure

of something missing, we cannot pinpoint

what it is.

 

When we are awake, in and with God,

the color returns, first in flashes and splashes, 

later in vibrant moments, and finally, the light

of love colorizes our total perception, all of  it:

we, it, they are alive in light and wonderful color.

 

Then, only then, do we understand the true

potential of existence; then, and only then,

do we know Divine life, which is the very radiance

and colors of love, of full compassionate human 

being; of perfect life alive.

As I have presented the God, I met on the train,

I have realized that “my God,” instead of being

a separate entity is intertwined with and coexists

with all of sentient life, an active partner, instead

of a controller of humankind, existing as a creative

force, like a kiln where our ideas can be fired and

given lasting form.

 

The note below, titled Tangible Creation, expands

our perspective of the creative force of God in our

lives, telling us that our contribution is the total

focusing on our emotionally charged desire, fueled

by complete belief.

 

TANGIBLE CREATION

Tangible creation is envisioned as desire

formed into existence through the power

of cocreation, through your Divine Spirit 

connected and one, with God’s force and

power of creation.

 

Tangible creation is thought in form,

substance, where the imagined becomes

real takes life and appears in front of you.

 

Tangible creation springs from total focused

desire, uninhibited by the thought of lack or

impossibility – empowered by emotionally 

charged belief, powering the connection

to both your and God’s creative force –  

a life force combination so infused with

potential – intention – that it becomes real –

takes shape – and inhabits conscious form.

 

Tangible creation is your birthright – is at

the essence of the human spirit – the Divine

Soul – a power so vast but often unutilized, 

except for those who marshal its forces and

work to create the world of their dreams –

their heaven on earth. A power fueled

by complete belief, the absence of doubt,

loving desire, and faith in the creative

power of the Universal Mind.

in doing something.

 

Let us, each today, reaffirm our worthiness,

allowing nothing to act as an impediment

to the securing of our rightful beingness –

the attainment of our genuine, authentic

existence.

 

OUR WORTHINESS

We are each worthy of living, thriving,

being – created to soar, to reach beyond

mere existence and touch the heavens –

fully capable of transcendence, clarity,

and ascendancy – with our full potential

waiting to be revealed and unleashed

into vibrant being – released and forgiven,

without guilt or shame, cherished by universal

grace and understanding.

 

We are, each and every one, worthy to be,

to love, to express, to touch our genuine,

authentic selves, our life given natural

purpose, a perfect expression of Godliness,

a marvel, a wonder, an integral facet

THE APPROACH

The approach to your inherent divinity takes work –

concentrated effort – a force of will where you take

control of your mental chaos – your ego madness,

and move your consciousness towards adopting and

evolving  to the true God qualities that lie dormant

but exist within you. This is not a sojourn on the path

to enlightenment but a fully committed act of will –

an act requiring total commitment and diligence.

 

The approach to your inherent divinity takes daily

training and preparation – for to inhabit the God

qualities of compassion, love, caring, kindness,

forgiveness, patience, poise, and creative power

truly based on the worthiness and oneness of all -

the connection of all life and its innate right

to grow into full potential -  this does not just

appear but must be sewn with the passion of true

faith and desire.

 

The approach to your inherent divinity – your God

nature given life and form is a work in continual

progress requiring an ongoing reflection, assessment,

and  readjustment – only striving on constant

feedback and correction. This is the enlightenment

that awaits when you approach this opportunity with

courage and strength of your whole heart – pushing

through  your own limitations and the misdirection

of the others on the path until one day, the door

swings open, and the truth is revealed.

NOTE OF TRUTH

Perhaps the solutions we seek in life are within

our grasp, there within us all along, too exhausted

after days of fierce wandering to voice a plea

for warranted attention or overcome by schemes

and hapless strategies, sounding mute against

the ebb and flow of internal dissension.

 

So let us again turn our gaze inside out, refusing

to be tricked by our own magic, the ego’s slight

of hand, delving into the disorder of extinguished

life for the note of truth we so carelessly let slip

from our focus, to be crumpled underfoot,

waiting for this day of atonement.

 

As we calm our shaking hands, flattening out

the message for earnest deciphering, let us work

to nobly approach this truth with open arms and

an accepting heart, knowing time enough remains

for even this undertaking, and strength enough

will come forth to bolster even this quest,

if we have the courage to pursue it undaunted.

Everywhere I go

there are little pieces of God,

by gathering them together,

perhaps, I will see

the whole picture,

or at least,

like a puzzle partially

completed,

a rough outline will appear,

and I, with a little patience,

In my opinion, a key to a viable spiritual

quest requires the tenacity to find our

own unique perspective of God, which, in 

the end may sync with a traditional concept,

or be something altogether distinctly

different, as indicated by the note below

titled, The Origin.

 

This Meditation Note is the answer to

my direct question during meditation,

regarding the origin of God. Now,

this response may be impacted by an idea

I have been considering, or better put,

fixating on lately  – what if God-Conscious-

ness was not the originator of all existence,

but evolved out of the very consciousness

of all existence - formed out of evolving life

itself. What if God is, basically, all existing

consciousness - plus, all awareness - plus,

everything awake - plus.  

 

THE ORIGIN 

I want to say - look beyond the horizons

and into the life, breath, and pulse of man.

 

Here, within, exists the beat of a living God,

the anointed desires of all existence, made

manifest by a single intention: this sliver

of purpose formed from a consciousness

combined with being something more than

the sum of its parts; a primal force realizing

random exist0rs would not transmit a

greater destiny than mere being.

 

Here is the transcendence into an organized

being a conscious entity formed and fed

from the totality of each thought, sense,

feeling, aliveness, and in turn, growing its

beingness, reaching out to foster well-

being of all nature, striving to navigate

the parts towards a more viable, pertinent,

and self-sustaining existence.

 

Here is the origin of everything awake.

I am beginning to clear the underbrush and

plow the field in preparation for the writing

of  PART FOUR God Consciousness - The Divinity

Within, where I will offer an in-depth review 

of both the religious and scientific thinking

regarding the interaction of our Personal or

Local Consciousness with what has been

labeled as Universal or  God-Consciousness.  

I am going to use Personal rather than Local 

Consciousness because I feel it is more

descriptive, although either one fits.

 

Within our Personal Consciousness - as I have  

outlined in detail in Chapter 10, titled MInd

Control - The Control of Consciousness 

the message directs us to three components: 

the Operational MInd - our day-to-day mind;

the Spiritual or Divine Mind - our Soul and

internal Divinity; and the Ego - which attempts

to ensure our personal gratification and survival.  

 

The Meditation Guidance below, titled Human

Evolution directs our attention to the evolution 

of our Spiritual or Divine Mind as humankind, 

especially during periods of awakening, makes

a conscious effort to solidify this divine connection

and as a result, hastens the evolution of humankind

from the current ego focus to a spiritual or God

focus. 

 

This is what the Kabbalists, the Jewish Mystics,

refer to as "Godding" - where we strive to take 

on the perceived qualities of God. It has been 

proposed that this Godding is truly the next

evolutionary stage of humankind.

 

I would like to spend some time exploring 

the concept that the next evolutionary

stage of humankind is the spiritual expansion 

of human consciousness  - which would,

if successful, allow for the survival of

the species and, quite possibly, the world. 

 

Is this by chance, God's principal motivation

for reaching out to inspire this global spiritual

change?  Would genetic spiritual transcendence

actually, allow us to survive our own ego-based

potential for self-destruction and annihilation?

Are we who support this movement towards

the spiritual awakening really involved fueling

this spiritual and physiological evolution

of humankind?  

 

Before we tackle these questions, let us first

look at the guidance that I have received on

the subject and use this as a starting point 

for our discussion over the next several days. 

 

HUMAN EVOLUTION

The Divinity within us exists in Personal

Consciousness as a component of the Divine

Mind or Self will be the focal point for

humankind’s continued evolution beyond

the existing ego focus - leading to the true

acceptance of the next level of existence –

the establishment of our God nature.

 

This step in evolution will occur on a personal

collective level as each Soul learns to overcome

or marshal the ego forces, which create evil,

injustice, pain, and suffering of the current world –

thus allowing the Divine Mind to team with the

Operational Mind and reframe the conscious

focus by gaining ego support in this spiritual

purpose going forward.

 

As this occurs on a personal consciousness level

with greater numbers -  the collective or God-

Consciousness is also altered and joins into

support this evolutionary spiritual growth.

Through this evolutionary step  towards

the Godding of humankind, all existence

on earth is reframed as the divine or personal

mind is linked to God's mind for the creation

of heaven on earth.

 

A new ethic is born, a new morality engaged,

a vital vision of hope, peace, love, and happiness

grasped forever.

At the center of much religious thinking is

the concept of God/world dualism, where God

is separate and exerts influence on the world

through what is known as downward causation.

 

Those who have been reading my Notes On

Enlightenment published on this blog realize

that I follow the view that God and humankind

are actually intertwined in a co-conspiracy 

of action and creation, with humankind

the active agent of God on earth - through

this active living - expands the potential 

and depth of creative consciousness.

 

At the individual human level, I believe our 

personal consciousness is hardwired with

what I refer to as the Divine Mind - our divine

nature or soul, which acts as our creative

conduit to connect and cocreate with God

or Universal Consciousness. 

 

As noted in the title of the Meditation Guidance

below, this Blended Awareness is sparked by

individual intention, as each person creates,

via their own desires. As the first line of

the guidance below reveals each of us powers

and originates this creative process through

our own intention.

 

In other words, we spark the desire and team

with God in its cocreation, resulting in the

appropriate manifested tangible form.

Basically, what is being expressed here, 

is that our interaction with God is conducted 

via upward causation rather than downward.

  

BLENDED AWARENESS

We are powered by our own inception –

the infusion of our intention with God 

Consciousness -  replayed over and over

within our Personal Consciousness

until it flowers – erupting in a bloom

of creation, expressing  the union of our 

true God potential.

 

Consider this thought – as a particle of God

Consciousness you hold the key to universal

possibility – potential - merely by becoming

an expression of your God nature – refusing

to allow thoughts of separation to dissuade

you and throw you off course.

 

Let every action be a connected action, 

enabling your Divine nature and your form

existence to walk in unison, becoming

the vibrational harmony of two consciousnesses

being experienced together.

 

Push your ego and your operational mind 

to cooperate - watch as the magic begins –

igniting your world positively, impacting

all existence through your song – the blended

voices of two awarenesses returning

to the vibration of one.

INTERNAL PEACE

Peace – internal peace – the absence of mental

conflict – the full acceptance of what is in

your life now – the elimination of resistance –

this is the first level of enlightenment. 

 

Internal peace is the foundation needed to obtain 

a full connection with God and complete God-

Consciousness. It is the reward for the control

of your consciousness and allows you to turn

your sights on your own divinity.

 

Internal peace occurs when your Divine mind,

your operational mind and your ego are in

sync and move forward without conflict.

 

Internal peace clears your energy for the pursuit

of oneness and wholeness required to reach for

authentic existence - purposeful life. This peace

is the freedom from stress, worry, doubt, fear,

anxiety, and depression - all signs of a lack of

hope and faith in God.

 

Internal peace readies your Soul for growing,

developing and becoming an essential part of

you – all issues have been resolved, all sins

forgotten and injustices forgiven, and you are

prepared to move on along the Crystal Path to

your enlightenment – your heaven on earth.

Purposeful action centers on understanding

and following your authentic Purpose in life,

which I consider your Divine calling. Even with

this Purpose, the road to enlightenment requires

more based on the Meditation Guidance below,

titled Peace, Power, and Purpose, adding Peace

and Power to purposeful action, making up

the three Ps of enlightenment.

 

PEACE, POWER, AMD PURPOSE 

Follow the three Ps as you progress down

the Crystal Path. Peace, Power, and Purpose

are the linchpins of enlightenment – the three

legs of the stool on which we will sit and 

go forward.

 

First, Peace with your mind at rest and your ego

in check or cooperation. A Peace centered

in this “now” free of the weight of baggage from

the past or fears of the future. Peace to sit still

and do nothing, or Peace while being active

and creating. This is the Peace that passes all

understanding.

 

Next is Power. The power of cocreation and belief

in your ability to manifest the life of your dreams

into reality or form. Power is based on the strength

of will and your belief in the Law of Right Action,

along with the positive force of God. Power

to create – creative energy fueled by a focused,

unencumbered mind.

 

Then Purpose – your authentic, true Purpose based

on your Divine calling – the Purpose that has brought

you to this place, this moment. Understand the Purpose

fueled again by your and God’s energy to create good

in the world – to assist others on the path to a full and

perfect life.  Fulfill this Purpose, and you will fulfill

your life.

 

Meditate on these three words and understand

that they are the foundation of enlightenment

and a full life through God.

THE SPOT

Life is expression, full and robust,

the demonstration of a flowing and

the flowering of intention, the consequences

of existence in all its forms and varieties,  

extending to reach through and beyond,

to grasp possibility and potential,

willing both into tangible substance,

experienceable being.

 

Every part and parcel of this orchestration

that enlivens our souls; pumps our lungs,

maintains our equilibrium, displays our

consciousness; is an active agent of life

evolving, the tentacles of God reaching,

imagining, envisioning via each sentient

presence through each awareness.

 

We, you and me, us all represent

the ultimate testament to this force

of natural striving, this divine reaching,

this roar of heartfelt becoming, fresh

in its order, always presenting a continual

newness, an infinite surprise, a possibility

reachable but beyond reach, a solitary point

where life unfolds, erupts, comes, goes, and

becomes again: the spot of infinite unfolding.

SLICE OF TIME 

This thin slice of time we now inhabit reveals

only the immediate moment, as we, in conscious

adaptation create a fuller, a more multidimensional

perspective of past and present incorporated,

well on its way to an imagined future. With this

lens in place, we maneuver these settings

to comprehend this expression of existence.

 

Perhaps this present – this prelude to the future

is but a convergence of multi-moments, a sum

of probable alternatives that, in an infinitesimal,

momentary calculation forms a sort of sum over

history, an average of all possible scenarios,

to select and give us, as our best and most

suitable reality – our now.

 

Limited by our perception, we must

be aware that God’s perspective is fuller,

more inclusive, but still impacted by the

complexity of multi frameworks, alternatives

selected and abandoned, along with the power

of will and choice in every sentient participant

in this existence, so no static, fully framed

future can exist,  just an ocean of possibilities

waiting to be perceived, then combined,

and finally, to arrive as a slice of the present

time for us to live again.

It is often the rationality of the design beneath

even the most expected items of this world;

the morning glory blossomed blue – yellow -

white on the neighbor’s fence, the minnows

scampering in lock-step motion in the pond,

the bird chorus of high-pitched mating calls

harmonizing, the sheer complexity of a rabbit

popping up to survey the possibilities.

 

I have watched this excellence unfold daily,

even if, often, I have just taken it for a given,

failing to realize the enormous genius involved

in its formation, the sheer monumental energy

even one nanosecond of its universal becoming

requires; often unaware of its carefully crafted

and sculpted creations set to maximize even

the minutest presence, powering each form

forward and beyond what even now is considered

plausible, realistic.

 

I feel when we set out to understand the design

and the designer, stretching out, somewhere

in our reflection, a Gestalt takes place, then,

only then, for a moment, can we peer beyond

the artifacts into the very engine of creation,

then, only then, do we perceive the vastness

of the infinite, the magnitude of becoming.

 

It is in this vein I offer the poem/note titled

By Design, possibly to assist this sort of

spiritual deep consciousness diving, with

the hopes of piercing the source, or at least,

to gain a brief glimpse of the magnificence

behind the scenes.

 

BY DESIGN

There is, within this world, the repetition

of excellence, the continual unfolding

of a design that enhances what it supports;

as it encloses, fashions, and drives into

unique being – with its natural embodiment

providing the strong skeletal structure

individuated, leaving nothing to the randomness

of chance; rather preordaining, configuring

what was previously determined, sketched

through earlier contemplation, then pushed

to emerge as conceived - one blossom at

a time, one leaf, one twig, all prepared to act

as perceived; agreed upon by some earlier

intention, disposition: calmly and sincerely

becoming what is and will ever be the pursuit

of another iteration of the infrastructure

of creative divine striving, reaching through

the rich dark earth, fixed on the nutrients

of growth, sun, air, water, love – then bursting

out, layered pursuit presented, audited, then

again, until life arrives, formed and sentient.

We, us, humankind, who forever exist as the

erupting force of viable life, let us know this:

from the very moment of first consciousness

our ancestors ripped at the light of the world

surrounding them, harnessing what was reachable

to create a more sustainable foundation going 

forward.

 

As we, in our lives now, add our footsteps to this

road, venturing onward, we must contribute, not

tentatively, but with our whole hearts, knowing

the very existence of future existence depends

upon the nurturing of this eruption.  

 

Let us each wade through the morass of our

unique lives, clearing away the lethargy, 

stretching to discover what sparks we might

ignite; what fountain of life we might inspire;

what wonder - personally and collectively

as a family of beings – we might erupt.   

 

LIFE ERUPTS

The road is crisp

       with becoming;

            worn bare and clean

         by the footsteps

               of the multitudes,  

                     who ventured onward,

                  with clear dreams

              and overwhelming hope,

           with faith as a shield,

      determined to reach,

              beyond the constraints

                   of nature, of God, of man,

               envisioning a life robust,

       enticing, fertile with possibility,

                just waiting for the planting

         of their souls, eager

               for the sweat of their effort,

                          knowing, it is in this place –

               at this moment,

SPARKING A FOUNTAIN OF YOU

Scintillate, being the spark of new life, flashing

forth the pure blessing and energy of being, here,

alive, on earth, emitting the essence of the you

becoming, share the exploding purpose of pure 

and worthy intention, a soul bursting with

possibilities – sparking arcs, connecting,

conjoined with life partners, to create and

recreate now, fresh, patterns of presence,

existence. 

 

Scintillate, with each motion, movement, 

endeavor, shine forth the astounding wonder

of your individualized creation, share the sparks

of love, the creative genius, the uniqueness of your

offering, allowing passion and purpose to ignite 

and light the way, knowing the material and kindling

for this combustion resides within you, now, release

it now, protecting each eruption, as each spark 

pierces the darkness, until combined, a fountain

of light, of you, sustains us all.

After months of reading modern philosophy

to support my own theory of God-Consciousness,

I have been drawn back to explore the rationality

of the message of Finding God On The Train Story,

perhaps to provide it with a more coherent and

understandable framework.

 

Two key terms –  being and beingness – are at

the core of what I believe I am tasked to convey.

First, you and me and all sentient existence

provide the essence of what I would refer to as -

“conscious being,” that is, each individuated

being to some degree has been provided some

actual awareness: with us human beings having,

thanks to our language capability and our

expandable brains, the most refined and defined

capacity.

 

Each “conscious being” carries with it in some 

degree a perspective of the world, always 

individuated but made similar by shared culture, 

education, signs, and symbols. Of course, much

of the infrastructure of our existence is provided

by “non-conscious beings” – earth, rocks, sand,

mountains, etc. that exist but do not fully

consciously contribute.  

 

Next, the “beingness” I refer to here is the

creative force and glue that allows all of us

“beings” to exist. Although we struggle 

to describe and name this force; it represents

the essence of tangible existence, it is for most - God;

pushing us to authentic aliveness, stretching us,

growing us, evolving us to become more.

Although we disagree as to its nature; it is,

 for many, a force for all that is good in the world.

 

The note below further clarifies being and

beingness, and our intricate, intertwined

relationship.

 

BEING AND BEINGNESS

We are each of us, singular or in the plural,

the being of beingness, as its very essence 

stretches to enlarge, grow, and evolve 

through existential interaction.

Let us comprehend our primary cause,

our purposeful effect. Let us embrace

the beingness as it fuels our mastery

of life, of living, as it works with us and

through us encouraging, prompting,

clearing the way for our and all humanity’s

progress. Touch the beingness within you

and surrounding you; listen deeply and

intently – working to discern its message,

knowing all this is essential to all aliveness;

celebrate the intention of collective being,

aware of the gentle hands of beingness

prompting the full accomplishment of

heaven on earth: be the being of beingness!

For the past few days, I have been thinking

about patience. Possibly, it is my inner guidance

reminding me that I need patience as I work

through the incredible journey of writing and

publishing a book like Finding God On The Train. 

 

So I decided this morning I would publish

a note that addressed patience. I picked 

a journal at random, and I came up with this

meditation guidance below titled simply, and

I would say appropriately, Patience.  

 

PATIENCE

Have patience and let God work through your life.

Have patience and allow what is meant to happen

actually to happen. Relax and wait without anxiety,

frustration, or anger. Open your mind to recovering

the full joy of the day and your existence.

 

Have patience, for patience reveals and affirms your

faith and belief in God. Your fear and apprehension

display a lack of trust in the Divine order of life. Lack

of patience causes you to take missteps and create

anxiety and ill will.

 

Lack of patience is disguised as unbelief – it is not

letting God do the necessary and right work.

You want immediate action – immediate results -

but this is not possible.  Moving events quicker or

out of sequence is impossible.

 

You need to focus on the positive outcome that

you wish to appear, the solutions you request.

Vision or envision the solution you wish with

a force of strong emotion, and it will be cocreated –

in time - within the flow of expectation.

 

Be patient, pray, meditate, and relax into

your faith in God.

LOVE IS THE GATEWAY 

Love is the gateway to enlightenment - 

love is the only way to God –

love is the power of all connection –

it is the seeing of the Divine in all life –

all existence – love is the essence of God

and without love, enlightenment is only

a bright light, without passion, without joy,

without substance.

 

Love requires that the ego be left at the gate –

personal desire stripped away – the shedding

of past and future, leaving only a bursting

emotion of caring, kindness, respect, and

admiration – a realization of oneness –

seeing your face in every face - it is the

desire to worship the perfection of life –

to understand the essential connection.

 

Love of child, family, community, or world

emanates from an overwhelming desire to

nurture, to protect, develop, flourish,

to breathe life into all you come in contact

with – it is truly understanding the nature

of God and God’s love for all creation.

Love like God loves to truly connect with God.

 

Love is ingrained and sewn into every cell

of your being – move towards the light,

and you will find yourself worthy of love;

humankind worthy and in need of love, 

and eventually, see through the loving eyes

of God – a force of love – boundless – infinite –

without limit overflowing with love for all.

 

The light you will see in the light

of pure God love radiating to all from all.

See the love, feel the love, be the love.

Inviolable – prohibiting violation; secure

from destruction, violence, infringement,

or desecration; 2. incapable of being violated;

incorruptible; unassailable.

 

Sanctity – holiness, saintliness, or godliness;

2. sacred or hallowed character; 3. a sacred

thing.

 

Within each of us is a spark of the Divine

consciousness, pure and purposeful,

protected by a natural inviolable sanctity,

a sanctuary of clarity, a place of holy

order, a haven from the mundane

to the unimaginable, the place that will

echo our rejoicing as well as soothe our

pleas for mercy - with only one purpose

in mind, to uplift and transform us,

to aid in our true becoming.

 

Our first step is and will forever be, to

move to what is real and manifested,

the now – choosing the here and now –

over the then of the past or the when

of the future, as the note below suggests.

 

NOW OVER THEN OR WHEN

Begin again – understanding endings,

beginnings are but constructions

of our minds, the waters of consciousness

flow vigorously through each of us,

as we celebrate what does not begin,

and mourn what does not end; instead,

be the truth, accept your place as a

conduit of the constant now; the past,

the future, mere ghosts, and premonitions

turning us away from each moment

unveiling: our Divinity waits for

us to comprehend the truth; so as

impermanence turns our moments

to a more pertinent, useful dust, choose

now over then or when, turn towards

the life now exposed, saying a peaceful

goodbye to what was, and a joyful hello

to what now is, knowing, all is well.
