progeny – noun – (treated as singular or plural)

a descendant or the descendants of a person,

animal, plant; offspring.

 

The concept of an emergent God has captured

my attention and contemplation, a God that

might have erupted from the creative life force

within us, a product of our confluent intentions,

given form by our joint hopes, dreams, desires,

imaginings; attracted by our incessant spiritual

need: eventually given life within our communal

consciousness, our shared universal consciousness.

 

Today, while meditating and focusing on this

possibility that humankind may have reached

out for salvation and transcendence, I was

offered the note below and jotted down these

inspired words.

 

AN EMERGENT GOD

 

We, humankind, are the progeny of an ever

evolving existence, of intentions, formed and

emergent, palpating with desire, fervor,

stretching to be more, to be alive, pushing

what is not into being, shaping formless into form,

an incubator for possibilities and potentials.

 

God, as with all existence, is the result of this

creative cauldron, perhaps conceived by a

multitude of hopeful whispers, pleas for

salvation, a reverberation of heartfelt intentions,

etched out from centuries of suffering and fear,

grasping for an overseer of humanities’ plight

and destiny; for a friend, an arbitrator, perhaps

to offer a sense of rationality, balance, and morality

in a tumultuous world.  

 

This God, formed in our mutual and shared

consciousness has been given life, taken shape,

answered our prayers, aiding in our becoming,

realizing our capacity for magnificence as

well as intolerance, working to manage

our appetites for more, urging us to consider

love over madness, hope over despair –

enlightenment over darkness.

The basic premise of my work and the key concept

conveyed in New Thought literature is that we are

in some way always connected to God and as a result,

connected to the force of creative energy that

emanates from God.

 

As I have asked these questions during my

meditations, a fuller explanation of this unique

spiritual connection between God and humankind

is provided. In the following Meditation Note,

titled Unified Universal Force, this connection

is clearly defined.

 

UNIFIED UNIVERSAL FORCE

 

Always connected to God, you are encompassed in a

force beyond all comprehension – a force consisting

of the creative energy of all life and matter in the

universe directed towards empowerment, growth, 

and continued creation. This unified force of all

universal life and form is connected and made one

by the love of God. For God is all of this life force and

more - so much more than we can comprehend.

 

Unified life is the connection of all existence within

God – a blade of grass in a universal field of

intention and growth. As a human being, you have

this connection to divinity – you are a part of a

magnificent growing and expanding energy of God.

Within this connection you can become part of God,

moving towards the qualities of God like Abraham,

Moses, Jesus, Buddha, and Mohammad who all

became more like God as they acquired the divine

nature within.

 

You can never become God for a part of the whole

cannot become the whole that it is part of. Jesus

moved to this God nature – divine nature - and

obtained power over the forces of creative life.

This connection to the Unity of all life is the

creative connection behind the laws of attraction –

all cocreation.

 

Unified with all as a facet of God- you have the power

to be like God and create a heaven on earth through

love, positive thought, and centered emotion.

 

You are connected to the power and love of God!

COLLECTIVE SOUL CONSCIOUSNESS

 

In prayer and meditation, you connect with the

collective  consciousness of all existence,

the consciousness of each person or living soul

who is alive now or has ever lived or existed.

The faces you encounter in deep meditation

are the reflections of this conscious energy –

each a pattern or imprint of this life

consciousness – existing as memories of

all the lives they have lived.

 

This collective grouping of all soul energy

combines to expand and reform constantly,  

and in total creates the infinite consciousness

or universal intelligence - connecting all

humankind. This consciousness – collectively –

forms the ever-expanding consciousness of God –

the creative energy of existence.

 

Each question or request framed in prayer

and meditation connects to this collective soul

and is responded to in kind with the appropriate

answer or action. In this way, God harnesses

the collective life experiences of all who have 

ever lived as a reference - as consultants -

to what is real human existence.

 

Each of us upon transition will enter this

consciousness carrying with us the life

experience, the joys, the knowledge, the

creations, as well as the sorrow, the regrets,

and any evil personally created. In order to

find peace, those who have created hell on

earth will be forced to reflect on their deeds

and seek resolution through the forgiveness  

of those who have been hurt. Those who have

created hell will carry their pain until

they are released or can attempt another

opportunity to live.

 

The collective soul consciousness - the essence

of God - is the center of all knowledge and of all

love. It is the source of all cocreation – existing

and finding form as the soul consciousness

continually expands.

GOD'S GIFT  OF LOVE 

 

Love is the fuel, the power, the energy of all

existence, all creation. Within love is the spark

of God, connecting, caring, totally immersed

in the beauty and wonder of creation, of all

life becoming.

 

Love is the elixir of God and under its charm

you and all life will flourish, grow, and reach

full potential.

 

Love is truly all you need – with it, mountains

can be moved, without it, nothing can be created.

 

Love everything about your life and what you

are seeking to do – love the equipment you use,

the pen in your hand, the notebook you write

into.

 

Love the message – love those who read

your work and find a suggestion or an answer.

    

Love the moment - love the opportunity to be

alive – creating and authentic. 

 

Love is the solution – love is the answer,

creating an environment of possibility for all

existence – for all creation. Love your obstacles,

love through your issues and problems, love

yourself into success.

    

Love the positive and even the negative -

know God’s energy – God’s power is with

you when you lead with love. Make your 

first response and last response – love.

Cherish this moment: love the gift

God has given you and all humankind –

the gift of love.

MOVING FORWARD

 

We must be moving forward, onward, fresh

and aware of our intentions, our desired goal,

our destiny; prepared to summon our inner

resources, as we marshal our outer possibilities,

potentials; finding a course of action, a clear

momentum.

 

We, together, must learn to love and live

in a world that is at first glance not conducive

to growth and clarity; a world needing

an awakened perspective to overcome

the torpid inaction caused by fear and

confusion; to find again a purpose worth

pursuing, a future worth grasping.

 

We, in this vital and valiant effort, must

realize the value of every contribution,

willing to allow others to be and to grow,

knowing all perspectives need to be taken

seriously, to be allowed to flourish, to be

nurtured; so, growth and awareness flourishes,

as long as it is offered with a spirit of cooperation

and love, tolerance, forbearance, partnership –

with hearts and minds focused on a more

cohesive, productive, and worthy existence.

Let us venture deeper into our conscious, 

subconscious, and unconscious minds

to comprehend our divinity, our soul, and

its connection to the Universal Consciousness 

of God. We will also need to explore what

this entails and how it shapes our lives. 

 

I would like to start with an Affirmative

Thought titled True Spiritual Power, which

is a good opener for this rumination. Along

with this, I would like to feature the Meditation

TRUE SPIRITUAL POWER

 

Today return to your true spiritual

    power and the ability to tap the

God within you – the divinity waiting

    to evolve you and transform you into

a work of art – inspired art capable

    of molding, creating, and shaping

the world.

 

Today return to your true spiritual

    connection – a connection with the

consciousness of God – the living

    spirit of God always teamed with all

who have ever carried the banner

    of God’s power in the world – with 

every spiritual leader who has ever

    existed, waiting to guide you to a

better life.

 

Today return to your true intentions –

    your inspired intentions and know

you have the power to bring them

    to life – give them form and create

a life worth living – a thriving life –

a vibrant life – your perfect life.

THE DIVINE FORCE WITHIN

 

The divine within you waits for your arrival,

for your awareness to catch–up, to wake up

to your true essence and potential. You are the

existence of God made manifest in physical form –

always with you - always waiting for you to

discover the full potential of your divine essence.

 

The journey you need to take and master is the

journey within  - allowing you to connect with

your God nature and the universal consciousness

of God. God is not out there somewhere, but

inside of you through connected consciousness –

for how would an omnipresent God not be present

as an essential part of each and every sentient

life form.

 

As a leading edge God presence -  it is your

responsibility to understand, nurture, and inspire

this force for creative, constructive, and pure

good in the world. Move through the portal

of consciousness and discover enormous and

infinite possibilities for this life you have chosen

to inhabit and live.

 

It is your choice as to how you use and reflect

this God force in the world – but by tapping into

this soul or spiritual center, you will uncover and

discover your authentic purpose, manifesting

it into your life, as you move in the direction

of full cocreation with God.

 

Dive into your essence and discover the treasure 

within – your crystal heart.

Lately, I have been reviewing my journals, and when

inspired, publishing the Meditation Guidance from

my early years on the train that have never been

published on the blog. I had not read this note featured

here since I transcribed it in 2011. As the note below

titled Shame and Forgivenessposits, God has already

forgiven us, even before we pursue it. God's role seems

to be to assist us through the self-forgiveness process,

which requires our facing the truth, assuming

responsibility for our actions, and making amends

for our transgressions.

 

SHAME AND FORGIVENESS

 

Forgiveness is only fully possible through God

for those acts that have created pain for others;

have disturbed the universe; have resulted in loss,

grief, turmoil, and hurt.

 

These acts, often locked away in the back room

of our psyches, are like a monster hidden in a

trunk – demanding awareness – requiring 

 

restitution.

 

These are the acts that create the feeling of

overwhelming remorse – shame – dwelling in

our consciousness – and when not dealt with,

punishing us each day.

 

These acts require universal recognition,

needing to be fully revealed; addressed by us,

along with the victims, and the universe.  

Karmically, we must settle in order to go on.

 

This level of forgiveness requires complete divine

intervention and assistance – a need to reveal

the truth through prayer, asking God for forgiveness.

This is not done because God has to forgive us –

because God has already forgiven us – it is needed

to aid us in our own forgiveness – it is needed

to allow us to be released and freed from this inner

turmoil - letting this burden be lifted – for our  

dis-ease to be cured.

 

God wants us to move beyond this transgression

and be renewed – to be clear to move forward without

continued self-punishment – to be released from the

bondage our own self-created turmoil – to enable us

to find balance.

 

Today, in prayer and meditation, open up the trunk

and reveal the truth– comprehend its impact on all

concerned, asking God to guide you on what needs

to be done to alleviate your guilt, pain, and suffering,

while making restitution to those who have been hurt.

Continue until fully released.

 

Know you are forgiven and be grateful.

The circle has such a powerful spiritual and secular

sense to it - “the circle of life," the “circle will be

unbroken," or the Native American Indian’s focus

on “The Greater Circle,” as outlined in Michael 

Garrett’s book on the Cherokee Teachings for

Harmony and Balance, titled Walking On The Wind.

Garrett quotes thegreat Medicine Man, Black Elk,

who states:

 

You have noticed that everything an Indian

does is in a circle, and that is because the

Power of the World always works in circles…

 

In this featured Meditation Guidance, titled 

Circle Of Beauty, the unique spiritual nature

of the circle is touched upon, along with its 

connection to God and the soul.

 

CIRCLE OF BEAUTY

 

The circle is the center of the soul and all creation,

the symbol of all life, all being, of the completion

of all existence. The circle is strong but flexible

and, although it can be increased or reduced in

size, it always maintains an outside, an inside,

and the line separating the two.

 

Your life is like a circle with the essence of you 

within the circle surrounded by the world and 

God, which gives you form. God is also with you

within the circle and gives form to the circle as

the external ring.

 

The circle is perfect, beautiful, and sacred.

The circle is power.  The circle is peace.

The circle is a spiritual symbol and provides

the healing which is needed. Consider the 

strength of a ring, the circle cannot be pulled

apart end by end; it must be forced apart with 

great strength. Every cell of the circle has a

vested interest in its own existence.

 

The circle of beauty is the circle of life, alive,

flourishing, creating, and becoming as God 

assists and supports - circles of healing,  

circles of prayer, circles of forgiveness, 

circles of faith, circles of love, circles of

magnificence – form these circles:

comprehend the circle and you will

understand God.

I have decided to present a few Meditative Notes

I have recorded that directly refer to Jesus or Christ

or Christ Consciousness. I am always working on

learningfrom the teachingsand life of Jesus as Christ,

as I do from all the great spiritual leaders of the past.

 

I do believe Jesus was one of the most highly evolved

spiritual beings who have ever lived, and his life for

me forms a path or way for all of us to emulate as

we move towards enlightenment.

 

New Thought often refers to the divinity that we all

have within us as Christ Consciousness or the Inner

Christ. As we develop spiritually, we connect with

this consciousness, seeing the world as the

enlightened Christ. The following Meditation

Guidance focuses on a key component of this

way or path – Love.

                         

THE PATH TO CHRIST

 

Follow the path to Christ – through Christ –

with Christ – to the consciousness of Christ.

You are on the crystal path to clarity of

consciousness – to pure connection with God

and man.

 

The path is pure but the path is long, and at

times you will become confused and go off

course – even become lost. Follow the path

to Christ consciousness – do not be afraid –

do not despair for God is with you for each

step.

 

Fill your heart with love – overflowing with love

for all creation as you turn off the constant manic

chatter of your mind. First, bathe yourself in love,

knowing your experiences today are part of divine

order and the flow of your existence.

 

Love yourself and your perfection, your glorious

opportunity to experience the whole and abundant

life. Breathe out your negative, self-critical thought

and breathe in your splendor – your magnificence –

your wonder.

 

Loving yourself  - prepare to move forward -

freeingyourself from the details of the day.

Understand the illusion, your often misguided

and unfounded interpretation of this thing you

call reality.

 

Remember, on the path, the reality you experience

is but a preparation – a sign of what you need to

learn or do to progress. Do not distort the now as

you view it through the convoluted lens of your ego

and see the magnificence of the journey and the joy

of moving on the path.

 

Follow the path and live, love, and be as Christ.

In New Thought, the concept of Christ Consciousness

often refers to our divine center or soul, existing

within all of us; serving as our portal or connection

to God. The Hebrew Mystics, who follow the

teachings of the five-thousand-year-old Kabbalah,

believe in the existence of many soul levels with 

the “Neshama”-meaning breath - associated

with the highest level of human spiritual

awareness and connection to God.

 

I will consider that if you function from

this “Neshama” soul or spirit level, you have

reached enlightenment.

 

I would also say that Abraham, Moses, Isaiah, Jesus

and the other Hebrew prophets, along with Buddha,

Mohammad, Lao Tzu, and many other spiritual 

beings have hit this level of higher awareness and

connection with source.

 

If you are not Christian, you could easily think

of this as Moses Consciousness, or Mohammad

Consciousness, or Buddha Consciousness, 

because I believe all three of these spiritual

avatars have reached an inner mystical state

awareness and connection with the Tao, Allah,

Source, Universal Intelligence, Infinite Mind,

or whatever term you wish to use to refer to God.

 

Here is a meditative note discussing this level of

spiritual awareness as Christ Consciousness.

 

POWER OF CHRIST

 

The answer is within the guidance, the path,

the way to enlightenment. Live through

the consciousness of your Christ center.

Find the center – move towards it and reach 

for its peace, joy, and harmony with life.

 

The voice of the Christ within you is soft but

profound. Listen internally through prayer

and meditation. Disregard the warnings

of the ego that may pretend to be the voice

of Christ within.

 

You want so much more - money, power

recognition, control but these are illusions

created by a false reality.

 

Live pure, clear, honest, loving, and you will

work beyond the ego. Your ego would have you

believe that your actions, or failure to act, create

this reality. Beware of your thinking, it is not a

positive force. The thoughts you have are often

not based on logic, but on pain.

 

Be proud and loving and accept who you are.

You are a positive force life force who has

accomplished much under great challenge.

Christ loves you and truly appreciates your

strength, kindness, love, and spirit of adventure.

 

Move to the center – to the Christ spirit within.

From early in 2008, the Hollow Mind is one

of my favorite meditation notes. To be mindful

and live in the Now we need to clear out the noise

generated by our minds and focus on our breathing.

 

As we all know, this is easier said than done.

But when we can accomplish this for ten minutes 

or for ten hours, we become a witness of life and

we take a giant step towards connecting with our

spiritual centers. 

 

This week I am making a special effort to return

to the Hollow Mind.

 

HOLLOW MIND 

 

The hollow mind contains the spiritual universe.

Clear out the thought – the mantra of a disturbing

reality – clear out the fear of a morbid past or a perceived

consequence of the future.

 

Clear the mind and you clear the soul. Attain the hollow

mind – open – expansive – a blank slate of humanity –

for here is the gateway to infinity – all knowing –

the divine nature within.

 

Clear out the noise, the chirp of the forgotten child,

the fear of past cruel masters – clear out the debris

of physical want and make your mind hollow.

Focus on your breathing to turn off the constant

verbal barrage of the ego and the world indoctrination.

 

Clear out the noise – make the mind hollow.

And in the hollow mind meet the universe

of all connection – the portal to all enlightenment.

Connect and reach for the vision of the heartlight –

pure – thoughtless – all knowing connection

of spiritual love and kindness.

 

The hollow mind does not come easy.

The senses and the insane thoughts seem to fill

it up with the debris of the past. You must work

to focus your attention on the now that requires

no thoughts – no reasoning. Avoid the false logic

of the ego which lives to move you from the path.

 

The hollow mind is an empty vessel with infinite

capacity to experience the fullness and rich texture

of life.

 

The hollow mind contains the infinite spiritual

universe and the connection to the divinity in you

and beyond you. The presence of source, God,

all positive creation.

To be honest, I do have difficulty turning over an issue

or a problem to God – what some New Thought people

refer to as “letting go and letting God."

 

There is a small pamphlet titled the Golden KeyI highly

recommend, written by New Thought spiritual leader

and healer Dr. Emmet Fox, which provides a practical

guide for giving a problem over to God.

 

Emmet Fox is a fascinating New Thought character

who is best known for his weekly church services

at the New York Hippodrome and at Carnegie Hall

during the depression with up to 5,500 each Sunday

in attendance.

 

Even though I have almost memorized the Golden Key

and find it effective, I still have problems just letting

the Positive Flow of Life, as this Meditative Guidance 

is titled, with its divine grace, provide what is needed.

 

POSITIVE FLOW OF LIFE

 

Feel the positive flow of life and move into the stream –

letting go of your challenges and upsets and feel

the soothing and refreshing waters of God’s grace

surround you. 

 

Do not resist  - do not panic – remove the fears

and negative thoughts and float with the current

remaining observant and accepting.

 

Feel the positive flow of life in the events of the day,

moving with the momentum and force of God’s grace.

Simply observe and move with the energy and you

will be safe and triumphant.

 

God is with you each step of the way, through love

God protects you - through law, God gives you 

access to your dreams and desires.When you see

the world going wrong, understand it is as it should

be, and all will be made clear.

 

Feel the positive flow of life, God’s life,

knowing all is as it should be.

Since January of 2008, when I first transcribed one

of my earliest divinely inspired notes of guidance after

meditating during  a commute to Washington DC,

titled The Crystal Path To The Heartlight, I have

realized “crystals” would be a major component 

of the message, I would be asked to convey. 

 

To date, I have received notes about the crystal

path, the crystal self, crystal consciousness, and this

Meditation Guidance below titled The Crystal Light. 

Granted, I have read the works of David Bohm,

a former associate of Einstein, retired Professor

of Theoretical Physics, featuring his theory that

the universe is constructed on the same principles

as the hologram.

 

The word hologram means "whole message," with Bohm

proposing every particle of the universe is composed

of a hologram of the entire universe, which as a whole,

makes up what Bohm calls the Implicate Order -

the enfolded universe.

 

What is different, leading to my initial hesitation

to publish this note, is that it clearly conveys

our existence is a result of refracted light through

a crystal. On the other hand, it does offer a fresh

approach to God consciousness, so here goes. 

 

THE CRYSTAL LIGHT

 

We are living and existing in the crystal light

of God consciousness, comprising the universe –

containing the universe itself – all matter –

all space within is refracted light illuminating

the creative intentions of God – we – you – me

all exist in this consciousness as creative energy

evolving, expressing, and becoming more –

expanding the nature of God.

 

At the edges of the universe is the crystal nature

of God holding – growing – becoming – with light

streaming through this crystal fabric – this

hologram shell representing all life, all matter,

all space, all time - and within creating what we

see as the visible universe.

 

All appears real to us in this three dimensional

illumination - as tangible, whole, hard, real.

Within, is the universe of holographic light –

each particle of all matter is a hologram of the

whole. Within, the creative forces of God intention

exist as if separate – distinct, but are merely the

individual elements of this whole. Living holograms

within – connected - one particle of God’s dream.

TENACITY!

 

Tenacity, holding firm on the path, refusing

to give in or give out – following through and

onward even when all circumstance suggests

a logic in letting go, withdrawing, or giving up.

Now is the time when we must reestablish the

grip on our dreams, our intentions, our long

pursued plans, reaching deep within our souls

to find the strength and renewed courage to secure

our stance, balance our presence, lift our tired

limbs into motion – and shatter our resistance –

harnessing our forward momentum with vigor,

determination, and drive - overcoming our

exhaustion, replacing it with a second wind –

a thrust of belief, hope, and conviction – refusing

to yield or be impeded – denying any attempt

to thwart our sacred mission, our rightful destiny!

Think it, hear it, see it, touch it, be it fully

in your imagination and cocreate your dream

through God’s infinite love and power. Imagine

every detail, every aspect with the fuel of your

love and desire. Live within your imagining until

it feels real and becomes your reality. Breathe

in the life air of the new creation until your

envisioning takes shape like a sculptor’s

art – caress its line, memorize its movement,

fuel it with life – a living, vibrant envisioning:

clear and perfect in its power.

 

Every moment you have, move back into the

envisioning, your imagining and resume your

life within, savoring the sensual experience,

believing in its reality. Never question, never

doubt only believe in the possibility – envisioning

until it takes form in the reality of your life.

Envision through imagining the new life, the new

FULLER LIFE

 

Fuller life is what you seek and is the essence of all

struggle and movement on this earth. Fuller life

is not more of what you have but is conceiving and

seeing what exists around you.

 

What is your heaven on earth? Would you recognize

it if it appears? Heaven is being one with life – living

in full enthusiasm – loving abundantly and becoming

your authentic self. The squirrel moving across

the lawn is not divided within itself – it has one purpose –

live life to its fullest – pushing boundaries at times –

taking risks but being a squirrel.

 

Being fully you – is authentic life – not the you of your

parent's dreams or your lover's desires- but the you God

has empowered you to be. Move back to this and start

exploring from there. This is the you of your talents,

your ability, your dreams. What impedes progress

towards being fully you?

 

Every day we are presented with a life of our past -

created from our past desires: learn to live and

accept it - to flow with it - and see its place.

The Upanishads, as translated by Eknath Easwaran,

my favorite version of this spiritual scripture, which

features the teachings of the Hindu scriptures from

the Brahman period about 500 BCE; considered

as one of the 100 most influential books ever written.

 

I find the Upanishads fascinating because they focus

on the universal spirit (Brahman) and the individual

self  (Atman). The Brahman is the ultimate, both

transcendent and immanent, the absolute infinite

existence, the total of all that ever is, was, or

shall be, which I would call God.

 

Through our individual self – which is divine - we

are all connected to the Brahman. Anyone who has

followed New Thought will recognize that the Atman

is often referred to as our Christ Nature  or divine self,

which is connected to the universal mind or God.

 

I would like to share with you this Meditative Guidance

below titled All Connected. As you read, you will see

this guidance goes on to help us better understand

the teachings of the Hindu mystics, who wrote the

Upanishads over two thousand years ago.

 

ALL CONNECTED

 

I see myself in a million selves all one and connected.

All connected. All one. All God. This is the essence of

the divine connection with God within the self –

connected to all the God selves living now or

transitioned. It is this connection of self-force

that creates the power and energy of the divine –

the divine self – the divine soul.

 

Only the ego, or the false self, made up of the

fears and indoctrination of a lifetime of separate

self-training sees our self as separate and not part

of the whole divine soul.

 

In God, we are alive and connected to the divine

soul or self and all selves. We can connect to this

energy and force, easily traveling through this

connection – via the Heartlight - into the hopes

and dreams, desires, and creation of all selves –

all living kind and experience, the essence of the

divine connection.

 

Connect to your divine self and connect to the selves

of all life connected – the divine self of God. Travel

through this connection and explore the mysteries

of  life and all existence – explore the divine within

you and all existence – One In God.

As I have presented the God I have met on the train,

I have realized that “my God,” instead of being a

separate entity is intertwined with and coexists with

all of sentient life, an active partner with, instead

of a controller of, humankind, existing as a creative

force, like a kiln where our ideas can be fired and

given lasting form.

 

The note below titled, Tangible Creation, expands

our perspective of the creative force of God in our lives,

telling us that our contribution is the total focusing

of our emotionally charged desire, fueled by complete

belief.

 

TANGIBLE CREATION

 

Tangible creation is envisioned desire formed into

existence through the power of cocreation, through

your divine spirit connected and one, with God’s

force and power of creation.

 

Tangible creation is thought in form, in substance,

where the imagined becomes real, takes life, and

appears in front of you.

 

Tangible creation springs from total focused desire,

uninhibited by the thought of lack or impossibility –

empowered by emotionally charged belief, powering

the connection to both your and God’s creative

force –  a life force combination so infused with

potential – intention – that it becomes real –

takes shape – and inhabits conscious form.

 

Tangible creation is your birthright – is at the

essence of the human spirit – the divine soul –

a power so vast, but often unutilized, except

for those who marshal its forces, and work

to create the world of their dreams – their

heaven on earth. A power fueled by complete

belief, the absence of doubt, loving desire,

and faith in the creative power of the

universal mind.

 

Here is the universal power at the fingertips

of humankind. Learn it, harness it, and create

with it now!

I believe, much like the early Hindus, that we

move towards enlightenment when we move

towards a conscious state that is one with our

Divine Self. This is the primary focus of the

Meditation Note below, guiding us to allow

our divine self to evolve.

 

DIVINE SELF BLOOMING

 

The divine self, like an ocean of spirit within your

consciousness evolves, grows, matures – connected

and one with God – fully present – the spiritual self –

the soul within. This is your indwelling God – your

perfect you, always present in the mystery of infinite

intelligence.

 

Open your mind and heart to this divine self, allowing

it access to your life and the freedom to evolve into you.

Enlightenment truly is the divine self becoming fully

conscious, and with ego in tow like an errant child –

moving through consciousness to claim its divine right –

its perfect place.

 

Search no further than your heart, for here is the sound

and fury of your liberation – your becoming – one

connected and whole in Source. Tear off the rags

of physical form, walking without armor – with eyes 

closed – ego in check – moving to the essence

of your soul – God within – God without.

 

This is the time to hold the crystal heart – to see

the Heartlight, realizing it has been with you

all along – the divine self, blooming.

At the center of New Thought spirituality is the act

of creativity – the ability to use our minds to create

tangible substance – physical form. It is at the heart

of the creative process that we most resemble God.

Each day we all live our own Genesis creation story - 

utilizing our gift of creative energy for growth, or

at times, our own hardship.

  

CREATIVE CONNECTION

 

The creative energy of God is within you –

surrounds you – radiates from you  - infusing

you with the creative powers of the universal

mind.  Simply tap this power by going within

and connecting to its source -  then feel the

surge of perfect thought – alive within every

cell of your being – feel the connection to

all that is and become one with the creative

force within you.

 

All creativity is at your fingertips ready to be

harnessed by your consciousness – open the

canvas and create the life of your dreams –

heaven on earth – outlining the knowledge or

guidance you wish to convey.  There can be no

wrong, no missteps,  since you are all creative

energy – just trust in the source of the signal

and move forward. There is no failure in this

creative action – it is the work of God – the

divine calling – the building and forming of

what is at first thought and becomes form.

 

All you create comes from source – is one with

source – an expression of God through you –

wake up to it – use it to light the path to

oneness, to wholeness, to the connection

with God.

EVERY WORD

 

Every word you speak, hear or think impacts your

reality, consciousness, and emotional well being –

fostering growth and empowerment when positive –

or when negative, violent, or ego-driven – destabilizing

you - throwing you off balance and creating turmoil

or anxiety.

 

The Subconscious Mind only reacts and cannot

distinguish real from fantasy, setting the emotional

protection system on high alert – readying your body

for fight or flight – even when the experience is not

real.

 

Every word you speak, hear, or think should be

positive, affirming, and purposeful rather than

toxic or mean.  Avoid gossip and unkind remarks

regarding others, and instead, refrain from commenting

or thinking of your opinion – know by doing this –

you avoid the ego’s destructive behavior – separating

rather than uniting yourself with others.

 

Protect yourself from watching negative experiences

on the news, avoid basking in the pain of others, the

perceived turmoil of the few – avoid the pain created

for the pleasure of viewing.

 

Make every word, every thought, and every experience

reflect what you wish to create and make alive and

attract into your experience. Learn to reflect only

on the joy, peace, love, and happiness you encounter

and you will obtain your heaven on earth.

A PERSPECTIVE OF WHOLENESS

 

As you recuperate today, focus on sustaining

and maintaining a perspective of wholeness,

wellness, and regeneration-that is complete

and total, reinforced by thoughts of oneness,

of perfect life intact – a vision of you as intended.

 

With each whole thought see through the illusion

of disturbance or less and into the truth of your

perfect creation, where the current condition

exists only as a misrepresentation, an anomaly

of sorts, to be overlooked or discarded, replaced

by oneness.

 

Today, realize fully, you have all that is needed

within to accomplish this transformation,

this reformation, through energized belief and

envisioning, allowing only the natural

thought of a complete and total presence to be

held, to be accurately maintained in consciousness.

Yesterday, Ann and I returned home from the hospital

after I underwent a heart procedure to alleviate my

shortness of breath and angina that has been occurring

from even mild exertion.

 

As I recover from the procedure again today, hoping

to assist my healing with some positve thinking, I opened

an old Meditation Guidance journal to a note from a 2010

train commute received a day before my back Lumbar

Reconstruction surgery in May of that year,

 

I decided it was worth my renewed attention,

so I repost it today. 

 ________________________________________________

 

 On Friday, May 30, 2010, I had back surgery on my

Lumbar stenosis and have been recovering from

the seven-hour surgery ever since. I have tried to

avoid making this the focus of my posts since, in

my opinion, other people’s surgery discussions

get old very quickly.

 

As you might suspect, healing has been a key concept

for me over the past few weeks, as I watch my scar

heal and the pain slowly subside. But the more I think

about and watch my healing; I realize what amazing 

beings we are, who have the ability to heal ourselves

from within.

 

Also, as I think about healing, I realize that a great deal

has do with my mental condition and attitude. The day

before the surgery, I received this Meditation Note titled

Stay Strong, which I would like to post as a reminder

for myself and maybe for others who are healing now or

planning surgery in the near future.

 

 

STAY STRONG

 

Stay strong! Stay powerful! Stay affirmative! Stay positive

get up and walk – balanced – sure-footed and capable

of full life.

 

Marvel at the painless nature of your healing – how

you feel full of energy and are ready to move forward

in a short time. Know that God has always had a plan

for you and this opens up your ability to succeed and

make your dreams realities – enabling you to present

to the world a vibrant, healthy soul fixed by the grace

of God and modern medicine.

 

Let all your fears and negative thoughts be cleared

away and be replaced by affirmative power based

thoughts full of positive outcomes – success and

wonders to behold. This is your chance to clear away

the damage of the old life without God and show

the vitality of the new life with God.

From time to time, we must all ask ourselves the

question whether we are diligently planting the  

seeds of a positive, authentic life in our consciousness, 

preparing for the harvest of our abundance and 

prosperity.

  

I transcribed the guidance below as I struggled

with the recuperation from back surgery. 

At that time, I am sure I was not focused

on a harvest but rather survival.  I did my duty

and recorded the note and forgot about it in

my journal.

 

Last night, while working on the book series,

I came across this note again titled Harvest

Of Life. I was transfixed by the note and its

wonderful analogy, succinctly describing 

the consciousness work we all must do in

order to be fully authentic in this world. 

 

We are all growing and harvesting our

consciousness in every moment. If we have

planted the seeds of a positive life in our minds, 

the results are ours to harvest - prosperity,

peace of mind, love, and happiness - if not

we must return to our garden and plant

our precious seeds once more. For there is

always another moment to farm again. 

 

 HARVEST OF LIFE

 

The harvest is ready to reap – full and lush

from tender toil – from loving care – strong

and healthy – ready to be the fruit of your

enjoyment – to fill your storage bins with

plenty for the long winter ahead.

 

Know this is the way – to plant a seed within

your creative thought - to care for it – water

and weed – watch it grow – protect it from

the ego and the opinions of others. Watch it

grow and visualize it as strong, healthy, and

prosperous – ready to be the substance of

real life and real form.

 

In the fields of your thought, you alone are

the farmer and you alone can ensure growth

by keeping thoughts of lack, not, and error

from impacting your creation – ruining your

work and destroying your harvest. You have

mastered the rules of growing form and you

can bring your harvest to share and enjoy

with the world.

 

Understand - as you view the lush fruit of

your labor and the pure miracle of creation

unfolding,  you have been the artist of plenty,

and through your thoughts and patience,

will now feed yourself, your family, your

community, and the world.

 

Take the sickle in hand – prepare the laborers –

fill the trucks of life and enjoy the fruits of

your labor – the harvest of life.

FULL PROSPERITY

 

Prosper and find the full wonder of existence.

Prosper in all you think, feel, and do.

Prosper in your job, at home, and in the world.

Prosper spiritually, physically, and emotionally.

Prosper and reap the full bounty of the

abundance of your life.

 

When you prosper you are in a state of continual

grace – receiving always more than you need –

more today than yesterday. Prosperity is a state

of growth, positive creation, and getting more

than expected while always moving forward.

 

Prepare yourself for full prosperity. The first step

is to believe – believe that you are worthy, deserving 

and fully ready for prosperity. Look for, search out, 

reflect on, and visualize the prosperity that

surrounds you. List and meditate on how you are

prospering.

 

Prosperity requires the full alignment of your

conscious thoughts, expectations, and emotions

focused through prayer, affirmations, and

meditations. When you are thriving and growing

in a positive direction you are prospering. Feel 

prosperous – feel the prosperity.

 

To prosper is to move forward with the world in

positive alignment, supporting your wants, and

growing on the foundation of your current

existence. It is an explosion of grace, a continual

gift of growth and good fortune.

 

Prosper spiritually and move closer to the path 

where you are in alignment and true harmony

with your authentic self. Feel the growth and

rejoice.

 

Prosperity is now – here – walk around the corner

and claim it.

GRACE WITHIN THIS NOW

 

The grace of God is in this moment now – in this

sliver of the present where each breath is newly formed

and delivered into the world; in this moment, where

the thought of movement becomes movement in the

space of a clear mind.

 

Alive in the present now, God waits, knowing we must

work to shake off the exploits of the ego – that focuses

our attention on the what ifs and the projections of a

crisis ahead. Clear the ego – clear the mind and focus

on meeting God in this space of now – the material

of the universe – alive and energized in the moment.

 

The grace of God – the abundance of God –

the cocreation of God happens in this place

of centered nowness – all you have asked waits 

for you to align to this place in spirit –and there,

all you have asked for waits.

 

This is the place where the ego is made silent by

the sound of the breath in celebration – it cannot

exist in the clarity of this now – for real truth

is alive here with the grace of God – the God

within waits, for you to find the channel – to find

the connection unhindered by the static of the ego.

 

Be and live fresh in the now through mindfulness

and focus on the breath. Practice, practice with

each moment of life until you exist unhindered –

in this moment. Then the grace of God will meet

you in this moment with all you have cocreated –

with your manifested abundance.

Spiritual Confidence is at the heart of believing in

your innate power to cocreate the life of your dreams

through God. First, you need to have the confidence that

your thoughts and actions will lead to the desired result

you have indicated to the universe you want and need.

 

This requires that you have confidence in the Law of

Attraction and that when you make a request, it will

be manifested. It also requires you have confidence

in yourself and your spiritual abilities to make this

happen in real life.

 

The Meditation Guidance below titled The Power

of Spiritual Confidence underscores the essence

and significance of spiritual confidence and its

power to make good happen in your life.

 

THE POWER OF SPIRITUAL CONFIDENCE

 

With confidence, there is strength and power –

being sure of what you are doing, the decisions

you make, and the divine support each day.

Avoiding the fear and second-guessing that

is a by-product of your ego.

 

Know, if you made this decision in cocreation

with God, you are moving in the proper direction

and can handle anything that occurs. Know you

are an extremely capable and skilled person

who brings to every life situation an abundance

of talents.

 

Trust in God and yourself, knowing all is working

as planned as God moves the world to create your

positive thoughts. Fear and surrender only breeds

negative outcomes as the world brings you the

what is feared most. 

 

Each day say –

 

“ I am a positive, self-confident child of God

capable of great things now and in the future.”

 

Do not let others provide an interpretation of

your life – know your life is a magnificent creation

worthy of praise! Look at all you have done and

know God will do much more for you if you can

beome bold and self-assured. Move forward today,

knowing you are ready to tackle the obstacles and

become your dreams.

Beneath the passion play of human existence,

exists nature, the natural, God’s world,

the simple order.  It is often easy to confuse

our constant state of human eruption with

what came first. When we settle down, rest,

meditate, dream, space-out, pray -  we can

reconnect with and join this order once more,

realizing we too are part of this simple order.

 

This morning, as I prepared for meditation,

I opened my journal to the note below that

I recorded in July of 2013.  As I read it, I felt

a sense of clam, of peace,  and I wanted

to share it with all who might benefit

from a pause in this life's hubbub.

 

A SIMPLE ORDER

 

Tangible life erupts in mysterious ways,

like a fire at the end of a long evening,

a flash here, a spark there, a burst

of blue light ignites only to be snuffed

out by a gentle wind, lost in the embers

of its magnificence.

 

We live in discrete but connected

particles of consciousness, moments

always quietly present, simple, silent

reflections of our inner state of peace.

 

Reflect on the moment that surrounds you –

a slender song of opulent life calmly being –

no rush – no impatience,  just a simple order.

 

No need for doing – just enjoyable reflection –

life turning at its own pace – enjoin

its presence –  its nowness – listen

to its breath, listen to it sing,  it calls you

to its place – its God-given existence –

no harm – no foul – just the simple glow

and the hum of life eternal - being.

As I was exploring my guidance related to building and

maintaining a positive mental attitude, I opened one of

my journals to the Meditation Guidance listed below

titled Reset Your Mind. Reviewing it again, it made me

long for a reset button that I could push to restore my

positive mental attitude that I often carelessly neglect

during living.

 

When the negative mind dominated by the ego takes

charge, we need to stop, recognize the problem,

and “prayitate” (my word creation for affirmative

prayer and meditation) to reach spiritual tech support,

and if necessary, hit the reset button.

 

RESET YOUR MIND

 

Let us reset our minds for success and understand that

our negative – fear laden thoughts – through the Law of

Attraction and Mind Action will be reflected in our lives.

This is the process of cocreation and manifestation.

When we invest strong emotions in our negative

perspective, we speed the process, for what is

manifested with strong emotion, is surely attracted

when presented to the Universe.

 

To break this cycle, we must reflect on positive,

successful, fulfilling, and meaningful outcomes -

seeing these as possible and expected. When we

expect good with strong emotion, we will attract

and receive this good. This takes constant vigilance

in thought, action, and reflection. Reflect on the

negative past, the foibles of another time, and

the universe will bring this past back to us.

 

Remember God, through the Law wants to manifest

our strongly held desires and does not analyze, judge,

or critique. Remember Jesus’ words –“Ask and You

Shall Receive”.

 

So right now, we need to reframe every thought into

positive aspects – fully supported by strong emotions

and we will begin to reframe the reflection of our

minds, which is “Reality," into a positive force for

success and abundance.

 

All of this is within our scope and our power,

as we recreate our lives.

The pursuit of mind control centers on our ability to fully

accept the life we are living now: rather than resisting

what is appearing in our day-to-day world. To “accept”

is to say “yes” to what is happening, understanding

its importance in our life now.

 

Even when our life is not what we had planned or

desired, it plays a key role in setting up the contrast

and showing us what we truly want to attract and 

manifest instead. This is not passive acceptance,

of course, we will take this contrast and work

diligently to change what is changeable but for

now, today, let us stop the rampage of our egos

and accept what is!

 

This current life will also provide us with insight

into what mind control work we need to undertake;

including, fully comprehending and overcoming

the fears and pitfalls the ego may be creating to

sabotage our progress. The term, “radical acceptance,“

is used to emphasize that this is not easy, but takes

great strength and courage. 

  

ACCEPTANCE

 

You must strive to accept who you are, where you

are, and what you are, in order to find peace and

learn that these experiences in your life do not fully

define your life.

 

These experiences are challenges, frustrating and

at times - appear insurmountable, but are only

momentary – temporary –and your fear focus

makes them incomprehensible, when they are

really, merely a moment in time.

 

Placing your self-worth on these experiences is

foolish and leads you only to anxiety, frustration,

and hopelessness. You are not what you experience –

you are not less because what you are attempting

does not work out as planned. Living this way only

leads to turmoil and a roller coaster of emotions

and self-doubt.

 

You cannot judge yourself by the success or failure

of your life, for these, are short-lived – transitory –

and have no meaning. Use these experiences to

practice being above the outcomes and learn from

the struggle.

 

Learn to understand that you contribute to these

experiences through mind action, self-doubt, and

self-recrimination. Ask what are you to learn from

this experience, how could you have reacted to it

differently? Did you resist, did you not accept?

 

Acceptance and non-resistance are the keys to

surviving and growing as a spiritual being. Today

accept and react without ego – without emotion

and know all is as it should be –and life is on track.

Today, as I was preparing to begin my morning

ritual of spiritual reading and meditation, I decided

that I would reach into my archives of unpublished

Affirmative Thoughts and let the universe pick

the theme for today's post.  

 

I picked out the Affirmative Thought published

below titled Let Go And Let God. It is often

startling to see how the themes of the past are still

very much current today. I read it over and set it

aside to see what developed during my meditation.

 

A new addition to my morning devotion, is to go

into my one of my own journals where I have

recorded the Meditation Guidance I have received,

relating it to my life today.  I picked a journal

and opened it up to the Meditation Guidance below

titled The Way Has Been Prepared. 

 

I quickly realized that the randomly selected

Affirmative Thought and this Meditation Guidance

were related, with the  guidance presenting  

the problem and the thought offering the solution.

Both underscored my continuing challenge with 

this spiritual mission I have accepted and now live -

the feeling that I am often in this alone and have to

make it happen on my own.

 

I am grateful for the reminder that I need to dream

a better dream, have confidence in what I am doing,

trust in God that the way has truly been prepared,

and then to fully let go and let God. 

 

LET GO AND LET GOD

 

Today “let go and let God” releasing the reins

of control and asking God to assist with the

day-to-day issues you encounter – letting God

guide you and work through you uncovering

the optimal solution for all involved.

 

Today “let go and let God” asking God for

direction and listening for guidance in the

signs, sounds, events, and coincidences of

your life –watching as the doors open and

the opportunities are revealed.

 

Today “let go and let God” surrendering the

need to go it alone and instead join forces

with your divine assistance and begin again

to cocreate your peaceful existence, your

stress free life, your heaven on earth.

THE WAY HAS BEEN PREPARED

 

The dream you should be dreaming is one of strength,

one of courage, a dream reflecting your true nature –

your true potential. Cleanse and clear away the fear,

the doubt, the past mistakes, and replace it with the

joyous harmony of all that waits in possibility.

 

Know you have the power to dream this dream

for yourself and others, but instead you wallow

in the graveyard of the past, tossing the remains

around and looking for forgiveness. Know now,

today, and forever that you are and always have

been forgiven – forgive yourself. Learn to love

yourself more –completely - and then you will 

know what this means – what an expression

of love involves.

 

Stop working so hard at doing, and spend more

time dreaming, envisioning. Never attempt to force

the solution but instead allow it to greet you when it

arrives. Your very actions spell disbelief – a lack

of trust in God’s  effort on your behalf. Dream –

see it all – call it forth from your soul – listen and

hear the guidance.

 

Find again the passion – the joy in simply being –

cocreating with God . Be willing to start small –

to fit into the future that waits and grow it with love,

passion, and enthusiasm. Offer your gifts and they

will be received, trusting in God’s support and love.

The way has been prepared.

I have spent the past week writing and rewriting

a key chapter of Book Three of the Finding God

On The Train Story series, to be titled, God

Consciousness And The Divinity Within - 

tweaked almost as many times as I have revised

the introduction. As often happens with my writing,  

I get lost in the material until I come up for air

with the appropriate perspective.

 

Although I am not there yet, I find myself

intrigued by the Meditation Guidance below

titled The Mirrored Soul, which indicates that

our authentic self-exists fully formed within

God consciousness, working to guide us towards

the full realization of our potential. If this is

accurate, then it is plausible we do come into

this world with a "soul mission" or "calling"

that we must in some way ascertain and 

somehow reflect through living.  

 

THE MIRRORED SOUL

 

Within God consciousness resides the divine image

of  you, reflected and conceived in perfect oneness –

the divine you, the concept of you in full potential,

the God you, the final and complete design of you –

the sincere soul of pure God identity,  the blueprint,

the model, the destination of authentic purposeful

being.

 

This divinity – this God self – this atman resides in

the total and universal consciousness of God – fully

aware of the past, actively working in your present,

knowledgeable of the potential and possibilities

resulting from present choice points.

 

This divine reflection has and will always exist and

is ever present and active in your life, moving

through your separation and limited perspective,

your ego desires and indoctrination, towards

a connection with the true potential of your

existence. Move towards and connect with your

divine image – your reflection of perfect life –

your God nature through prayer and deep

meditation – through envisioning, dreaming,

and clairvoyance.

 

Work to connect with, and be guided by, your

divine based self within God consciousness,

knowing this is the road to enlightenment –

true heaven on earth.

Book Three of The Finding God On The Train Story

series focuses on exploring the human soul and how

it relates to and interacts with God Consciousness.

The note below, aptly titled Personal Consciousness,

takes us deep into this relationship and provides

guidance on how we can reveal and expand this

divine connectivity.  

 

PERSONAL CONSCIOUSNESS

 

Before the beginning, there was only God Consciousness –

Universal Consciousness - where now your Personal

Consciousness exists as a bubble of viable, evolving

intention, allowing the life as you know it to exist and

be experienced  within -  giving it tangible form

and solidity – forming it, expanding it into the

existence you now are aware of and accept.

 

Personal Consciousness is protected within the sea

of God Consciousness – receiving nourishment,

guidance, and inspiration but fully able to exist on

its own - to live a life with or without God connection.

Personal Consciousness expands or contracts to

match individual desires, conception, or intention.

At the same time, it is the pathway or portal to the

interconnectivity of Universal Consciousness with

the ability to connect to the collective creative power

of all who exist or who have ever existed.

 

During meditation and prayer allow yourself to

experience and journey within your Personal

Consciousness – expanding your vision – revealing

the true center of your existence – push towards

knowing how you exist within the sea of God

Consciousness – allowing the edges to fade –

the boundaries to disappear until you feel God

wash over you – feel the sincerity of pure love

enfold you – and from this point work on

strengthening this conceptual connection until

you touch the true center of gravity.

At the center of much religious thinking is

the concept of God/world dualism, where God

is separate and exerts influence on the world

through what is known as downward causation.

Those who have been reading my Notes On

Enlightenment published on this blog, realize

that I follow the view that God, and humankind,

are actually intertwined in a co-conspiracy of action 

and creation, with humankind the active agent

of God on earth - through this active living -

expanding the potential and depth of creative

consciousness.

 

At the individual human level, I believe our 

personal consciousness is hardwired with what

I refer to as the Divine Mind - our divine nature or

soul, which acts as our creative conduit to connect

and cocreate with God or Universal Consciousness. 

 

As noted in the title of the Meditation Guidance

below, this Blended Awareness is sparked by

individual intention, as each person creates, via

their own desires. As the first line of the guidance 

below reveals, each of us powers and originates

this creative process through our own intention.

 

In other words, we spark the desire and team

with God in its cocreation, resulting in the

appropriate manifested tangible form.

Basically, what is being expressed here, 

is that our interaction with God is conducted 

via upward causation, rather than downward.

  

BLENDED AWARENESS

 

We are powered by our own inception – the infusion

of our intention with God consciousness -  replayed

over and over within our personal consciousness

until it flowers – erupting in a bloom of creation,

expressing  the union of our true God potential.

 

Consider this thought – as a particle of God

consciousness you hold the key to universal

possibility – potential - merely by becoming

an expression of your God nature – refusing

to allow thoughts of separation to dissuade

you and throw you off course.

 

Let every action be a connected action, enabling

your divine nature and your form existence to walk

in unison, becoming the vibrational harmony of

two consciousnesses being experienced together.

 

Push your ego and your operational mind 

to cooperate - watch as the magic begins –

igniting your world positively, impacting

all existence through your song – the blended

voices of two awarenesses returning

to the vibration of one.

What if  humankind is still in the process of

evolution, where the focus is no longer on

physical development but instead is centered

on the refinement and improvement of our level

of personal consciousness?

 

Taking this a bit further, what if our next

evolutionary step is a movement towards 

overcoming our ego dominance and attaining

what some would call - godlike  qualities - such 

as love, kindness, compassion, a collective sense 

of oneness, and empathy along with the powers 

to cocreate our lives freely through conscious

intention supported by our own access to our 

divine natures? In other words, we evolve

into our true God natures.

 

The meditation guidance below titled

True God Qualities addresses this potential; 

clearly outlining the rationale for this 

evolutionary step and highlighting what

qualities we might expect to encounter.

 

This is a concept that has been addressed by

others, as noted by the the work of Pierre 

Teilhard de Chardin - Jesuit Father and

a distinguished paleontologist who over sixty

years ago addressed this very theory in his

landmark work The Phenomenon Of Man.

 

My guidance seems to echo the same sentiments.

Is it plausible? Is this where the current spiritual 

awakening is leading us? I believe this is the case.

TRUE GOD QUALITIES

 

We are here to assume our true God qualities

and powers by overcoming our own propensity

for negative thought, neglect, hopelessness and

evil by marshaling our divine wills towards

greater achievements, authentic living, peak

spiritual experience, and our connection with God –

refueling our potential to live beyond the illusion

of material pleasure and grasp the greater good

of collective consciousness.

 

We are here to transcend - to transform beyond

our infantile focus on the acquisition of pleasure

and the avoidance of pain – to reach a pinnacle

of human excellence and evolution ensuring our

God powers and qualities are recognized and

grasped by those who wish to go on growing,

becoming, moving towards their authentic

natures.

 

We are here to create heaven on earth - not hell

as it appears many are engaged with today –

our conscious focus as a collective humankind

on this heaven allows us to move forward, grow,

and assume our true birthright – our authentic

God nature of power – cocreation – and love in

balance  - all supported by positive purposeful 

action.

 

Although many have careened in the opposite

direction there are a growing number of those

who have grasped this message and are moving

in this divine direction – working hard to prepare

themselves consciously for the catharsis of heaven

focused living.

THE APPROACH

 

The approach to your inherent divinity takes work –

concentrated effort – a force of will where you take

control of your mental chaos – your ego madness,

and move your consciousness towards adopting and

evolving to the true God qualities that lie dormant

but exist within you. This is not a sojourn on the path

to enlightenment but a fully committed act of will –

an act requiring total commitment and diligence.

 

The approach to your inherent divinity takes daily

training and preparation – to inhabit the God

qualities of compassion, love, caring, kindness,

forgiveness, patience, poise, and creative power

truly based on the worthiness and oneness of all -

the connection of all life and its innate right

to grow into full potential -  this does not just

appear but must be sewn with the passion of true

faith and desire.

 

The approach to your inherent divinity – your God

nature given life and form is a work in continual

process requiring an on-going reflection,

assessment, and  readjustment – only striving

on constant feedback and correction. This is the

enlightenment that awaits when you approach

this opportunity with courage and strength of your

whole heart – pushing through  your own limitations

and the misdirection of the others on the path until

one day the door swings open and the truth is revealed.

THE QUEST

 

We are each on a spiritual journey, both individual

and solitary, in search and pursuit of our own

divinity – the God who lives within us – the God

we are and will always be. Each life we encounter

along the way is involved in this becoming - whether

realized or unaware.

 

It is your spiritual mission to allow this journey to

unfold within you as your divinity within – deep

within – pushes you towards the fresh breath

of new life – maneuvering your soul through

the illusion, the fears, the doubts, the ego’s dreams –

and even at times –  resuscitating the divine you,

pounding on your chest until a heartbeat appears

and a gasp of consciousness is surrendered.

 

This awakening is not easy – it requires the

resolution of the conflicting voices in your mind –

the demons of your own journey to be faced and

overcome in the effort to create a sort of symbiotic

coexistence in a united attempt to reveal your own

identity and evolve. This divine becoming requires

the courage to risk all of life for the essence of true

life – to die to be reborn anew – personally evolved

and one with God.

Often, it is as if we see the world in black and white,

unaware of the possibility of seeing in color, and

in this black and white world we exist, living

our lives, although quite sure of something

missing, we cannot pinpoint what it is.

 

When we are awake, in and with God, the color

returns, first in flashes and splashes, later

in vibrant moments, and finally, the light of love

colorizes our total perception, all of  it: we, it,

they are alive in light and wonderful color.

 

Then, only then, do we understand the true

potential of existence; then, and only then, do we

know divine life, which is the very radiance and

colors of love, of full compassionate human being;

of perfect life alive.

Horror: an intense feeling of fear, shock,

or disgust: a thing causing such a feeling.

A literary or film genre concerned with

arousing feelings of horror: intense

dismay, intense dislike.

 

Horror, whether real or fictional, seems to 

surround us, attracting our attention with its

scope and intensity in the news, or turned

into entertainment; especially prominent

and graphic in the electronic games that

occupy our time - as our chitchat focuses

on the pleasure of watching shows featuring

hardened criminals, homicidal maniacs,

brutal warriors, and a host of the living dead.

 

The note featured below, opens with an 

instruction to turn away from the horror.

I do believe, that for us to evolve, on a

personal basis, or as the custodians of

existence on this planet, we must find the

wherewithal to refuse to participate in

the perpetuation or promotion of our

existing culture of horror: replacing it

instead with one of wholeness, clarity,

beauty, loving-kindness, and sincerity.

 

TO ENGAGE

 

Turn away from the horror, the disappointments,

the pains of existence – move, instead, towards

the wholeness, the pure completeness of a life

capable and inspired.  Know you, and you alone,

hold the key to clear, unencumbered existence –

fresh life – forming, reforming, being a being

of wonder, a beam of pure transparent light –

know you carry the essence of all existence

within – so release the stumbling blocks and

reach, fully extended, to grasp, to engage what

waits before you – find the frame of reference,

hold it in consciousness, become the incubator

for clarity, sincerity, purposefulness, passionate

existence – open to be, to receive, to become,

and to engage, fully, your destiny.

Last week, I had downloaded from iTunes a series of

New Dimensions Radio interview programs, which

featured Dr. Wayne Dyer. One of the programs,

from the late 1990’s, was a discussion centering

on Dyer’s, then recently published, 1998 book titled

Wisdom Of The Ages, 60 Days To Enlightenment.  

 

I decided to buy the iBook and read one of the sixty

quotes each morning, as an addition to my morning

meditation and prayer practice.

 

Today’s quote was on the topic of divinity, featuring

Epictetus (55-135 AD), an emancipated slave, who

later became a Greek Stoic philosopher:

 

You are a distinct portion of the essence of God

in yourself. Why, then, are you ignorant

of your noble birth? Why do you not consider

whence you came? Why do you not remember

when you are eating, who you are who eat;

and whom you feed: do you not know it is

the divine you feed; the divine you exercise?

You carry a God about with you.

 

I finished my reading, began to meditate, 

and, as I usually do, asked for guidance. 

I received the following message:

 

BIRTHRIGHT

 

Open your mind to the sheer power that runs

through you, fully embrace the enormous power

flowing through every fiber, every cell of your

being, the divine power, the essence of God

within you – dive deep within its holy fluidness,

wash away the doubt and confusion left unguarded,

creating what is without substance or merit:

instead; today, stand firm and positive, clearly

focused on the strength, wisdom, hope, compassion,

and creative energy that is your birthright; flex

your creative God power, reframing the static

transmission, replacing it with full and vibrant

definiteness, fantastically ripe and waiting

to emulate your every dream, to inculcate your

consciousness, ready to plant, grow, and harvest

a reality without bounds – robust and purposeful.

Ann and I have been praying to God for the healing

of a family member who has cancer, in hopes of

receiving divine, curative assistance. Our prayers

have seemingly gone unanswered, and we have entered

into a discussion regarding God’s will, ability, and/or

power to actually heal.

 

When I suggested that maybe God does not actually

deal in the dispensing of healing miracles, since to do

so would require an arbitrary value judgement of

individual’s worth and eligibility for special treatment,

Ann was devastated, pointing to all those who believe

they have received and have directly benefited from

healing miracles. Why not our loved one?

 

As is often the case, this has sent me back for further

prayer and meditation to decipher the reality of divine

healing - at least as presented by the message I have

received on the train, in hopes of unraveling what Ann

and I, you, we, all of us might expect from God in this

regard. I have been posting some of my insights, but I  

must admit this is an area that deserves its own book.

 

About a week ago, in response to my prayer and

meditation questions, I received the inspired note

I offer below titled Healing Belief. I am often as

skeptical as my readers when presented with such

a challenging concept as this note conveys, especailly

when it proposes that spiritual healing is based on

the belief, in most part, of the person to be healed:

that is, our faith and belief that God/Universal

Consciousness has prepared us to accomplish and

succeed at personal self-healing, if we would believe

in its possibility.

 

Of course this is not a unique approach. Many

consider it as a foundational concept of the original

New Thought movement itself. Deep within my

personal consciousness, I intuitively know that

these words expressed below reflect a valid spiritual

reality, and contain an element of truth. It is hard

to dismiss the healing ministry of Jesus, who was

a master practitioner of this belief-based healing

power, healing based on the faith/belief of the healed.

It would be hard to describe the “Placebo Effect” more

accurately than referring to it as the “Belief Effect.”

 

What if this note is true? What if our own lack of mind

control and belief holds us back from the miracle

of our self-healing potential? Certainly, to accomplish

this level of personal healing would require a strong

and clear faith-based belief, one that I will continue

to pursue and work to master someday fully.  

 

HEALING BELIEF

 

All healing starts from within, understanding

the concept of wholeness, completeness;

realizing that God has no awareness of disease,

malady, physical imperfection, and has equipped

us with the tools to heal without effort, simply

by maintaining a consciousness of wellness,

perfect harmony, perfect being.

 

With our God given tools of regeneration,

recovery, unhampered rejuvenation we declare

the truth of our beingness -we do not become less,

and if our system is injured it is designed for

self-correction, to heal naturally, to return

to oneness, wholeness, wellness.

 

This order, this law of health, is fueled,

powered by our acceptance of it, as well

as our total belief in its truth and plausible

consequence; activated when knowing full well

that no physical condition of deterioration

can exist without our cooperation, without

our support of the opposite or counter belief

in illness, disease, malfunction, demise.

 

Prayers and supplication must be grounded

in the unquestioned belief that healing

is maintained and created in consciousness,

fully loaded for our personal use, powered

simply by our unwavering belief.

SLICE OF TIME

 

This thin slice of time we now inhabit,

reveals only the immediate moment, as we,

in conscious adaptation create a fuller,

a more multidimensional perspective of past

and present incorporated, well on its way

to an imagined future. With this lens in place,

we maneuver these settings to comprehend

this expression of existence.

 

Perhaps this present – this prelude to the future

is but a convergence of multi-moments, a sum

of probable alternatives that in an infinitesimal,

momentary calculation forms a sort of sum over

history, an average of all possible scenarios,

to select, and give us, as our best and most suitable

reality – our now.

 

Limited by our own perception, we must be aware

that God’s perspective is fuller, more inclusive,

but still impacted by the complexity of multi

frameworks, alternatives selected and abandoned,

along with the power of will and choice in every

sentient participant in this existence, so no static,

fully framed future can exist, just an ocean of

possibilities waiting to be perceived, then combined,

and finally, to arrive as a slice of present time

for us to live again.

torrent, noun. 1. a stream of water flowing

with great rapidity and violence. 2. a rushing,

violent, or abundant stream of anything.

3. a violent, tumultuous, or overwhelming flow.

 

We the individual particles of humanity,

on a macro level, flow torrentially; our streams 

of being inhabiting our earthly existence, stretching

our sensibilities to become, to go beyond, to create,

to evolve, to overcome our propensity, our unbridled

desire for more of what is magnificent, as well as,

potentially hazardous - our currents, combined

and solitary, create the great ebb and flow,

the tide of consciousness.

 

In essence, it is this torrent we must learn

to navigate, harnessing the very nature

of our natural momentum.

 

TORRENT

 

Nothing within our existence is stationary;

unchanging; or static; rather it is like a

spring torrent – rushing uncontained,

forming then shifting, becoming again,

zestful, unhampered or directed by what

was or what should be: and, so it is, with

each moment of life, appearing robust

then in pieces shattered, only to be restored,

formed, captured, and forgotten, as swiftly

as it is generated profoundly once more;

and in this, with this, torrent we seek

to slow the pace, find a meaning, a common

thread, holding on for dear life, wishing for

stasis, when none exists, until, with reflection

and careful meditation, our pursuit of order

and control gives way to a giving in, releasing,

an allowing, and we understand our place

in the motion and being of this torrent;

one not separate; contained; not impacted by –

we, the momentum rather than the moved.

As I write Book Three of the Finding God On The

Story series, to be titled God Consciousness And

The Divinity Within,  I have spent hours reading

and rereading the guidance I have received over

the past ten plus years. As is also standard practice

for me, I have spent a great deal of time

meditating and connecting directly with God 

to explore the topic. As I deep dive into the essence

of this message, I often run across guidance that

now requires a fresh look and understanding like

the guidance below titled God Thought.  

 

GOD THOUGHT

 

We exist within the consciousness of God –

a subset of the whole – a personal consciousness

within God consciousness.  Our being, our form,

all that surrounds us, and all that is within us,

is God originated existence.

 

All we see or experience is simply a thought

of God – we are a thought of God – and within

this ocean of thought we have being, are conscious,

and we are bathed in the essence of God thought.

 

We live within God – all we experience in this

collective God-consciousness – which our limited

consciousness is based – is found in this divine

consciousness.

 

In the extended vision of God we get to explore

humanity – God thought manifested in full form

to experience this existence. We live submerged

in the creation of God thought – all made of the

same thought substance.

 

Within our  consciousness is an awareness of

this connection – this oneness of Universal God

force – the divine spark fully aware of its source,

its origin, and its destiny.

 

Within the collective God consciousness is the

power and energy to create personal human

thought, the gift of creative power allowing us

to be one in our God potential, to contribute

to the voice of God in existence – as we live,

thrive, and create at the apex of God thought.

relevance; our essential nature in the amplification

of all existence; we the pinnacle of sentient,

conscious creation; separate yet indivisible: 

the current medium of all that is.

 

WE ARE THE MEDIUM

 

Worth, value, the essence of the meaning

or importance we attach to each aspect of

this life is presently determined by the value

of replacement, often failing to realize even

a moment of our conscious existence is beyond

value, irreplaceable, life in real time, a sliver

is infinite and finite at the same time, like one

frame of a film, a nanosecond projected on

screens of consciousness within our minds,

the three-dimensional backdrop of each passing

moment, as senses fill the void with activity, color,

presence; we are the medium giving dimension

to the presence, so sure what is within us is a

representation of what is outside of us, fooled

into believing the distinction - when all is part

and parcel of even a fuller more encompassing

consciousness: the unity, the all that is.

There are times when the evil that surrounds

us is incomprehensible; we are surely experiencing

one of these times. That it is being done in the

name of God is just unfathomable.

 

As the note, I share below reminds, a meme

of evil has gained a foothold, as our global culture

has chosen to promote all things dark and

destructive as entertainment, our cultural

pastimes.

 

Although, we cannot personally stop these

random acts of global madness, perhaps

we can set in motion a new  focus, a viable

consciousness - a more wholesome and

worthy perspective.  

 

THIS MEME OF EVIL

 

It is the idea of evil, the intent of evil that surfaces

and finds a place in the collective consciousness.

It is this meme of evil, active, evolving, flourishing

that forms the presence of turmoil, destitution,

avarice, heartlessness – only by grabbing hold

of the content of consciousness can we counteract

its forming and reforming, its gaining power and

presence.  We each must resolve to think it into

diminishment, starting with our own mind control.

 

This meme of evil has gained a foothold, and at

times, an upper hand in this life. What we must

realize is that humanity is the generating force

of this dark, destructive meme, forged by lifetimes 

of fostering inhumanity and greed.

 

Today we feed the preservation of evil by opening

our psyches and our souls to a daily feeding of

media based demise, criminality, hatred, and

fictional homicide. Our culture is what now

represents us, and it is often dark and menacing,

brutal, unthinkable. The meme of evil thrives 

in our world of intolerance, hatred, and 

hopelessness.

 

We must consider, each of us, making it our

mission to reorder our thoughts and lives, basing

our efforts on the expansion of good, well-being,

thriving, hope: turning the tide – restoring 

a consciousness of good, for all.

Sometimes this spiritual quest gets too complex,

and I am the first to forget the basics; that is,

being prepared to connect with God, in the present,

through meditation, prayer, and contemplation.

 

It is within these meditative moments where we

master the skill of mind control, clearing away

the debris of our egos and our noisy lives, to meet

the true consciousness of God, always ready

and waiting in the now.

 

So when I came across this note featured below

from 2014, I decided to publish it, as a gentle

reminder, to all of us, of the basics.

 

THE FIRST STEP

 

The power to clear the consciousness is available

to everyone, simply by using the techniques and

approaches honed by thousands of years of earnest

effort, one errant thought at a time.

 

It is basic meditation practice, with its focus on

the breath, returning to this breath when thoughts

surface – allowing us to lay the foundation,

training our minds, so our awareness during

practice will determine the flow and focus

of our attention.

 

For some, this may be the first experience with mind

control – allowing thoughts to surface, but upon

review, choosing to withdraw attention, returning

instead to the breath and our meditative focus,

thus laying the groundwork for a breath-focused

mindfulness, available during meditative practice,

or anytime we choose mindfulness as our criterion

for awareness.

Ye who search of God, of God, pursue.

Ye need not search for God is you, is you!

Why seek ye something that was missing

ne’er?  Save you none is, but you are –

where, oh, where?

 

The desire to separate humankind from God,

and all sentient life for that matter, becomes

more difficult as we explore the spiritual

concept of God as an expanding consciousness.

 

Although the quote from Rumi above,

demonstrates what has been a popular

esoteric mystical opinion - we and God

are one - the exoteric religious authorities

have, for the most part, considered this

to be anathema, heretical, often severely

punished. 

 

This may be a reason why I usually sit on this

type of guidance, and have, until I rediscovered

it this morning, and felt ready to delve into

its meaning. Usually, I would rather not offend 

the sensibilities of those who cannot fathom,

or discuss, this close a union of the divine and

humankind.  Just so happens,  Ann, my wife,

is firmly in this group.  

 

Yet, in truth, most of my spiritual work has

been finding and redefining a less supernatural,

more user friendly God, one that might fit

within our modern perspective. I believe

the note below is proposing  just such a

conceptual framework. Your thoughts?

 

ONE PRESENCE SHARED

 

We and God are intertwined.

We and God are intermingled.

 

A shared consciousness, where our

consciousness exists within the limitless

consciousness of God, stretching

the space of all conscious existence –

we and God are one, God within,

God without – together, we and God –

the creator of all form (which exists as an

extension of our joint consciousness)

are intertwined.

 

Form is simply, and totally, a representation

of the creative thought of consciousness,

and as such, has no innate power. Always

in matters of form, we must return to the

originator and the origination of our sense

experience – creative conscious thought.

 

Let us fully comprehend and grasp this

essential truth of comingled consciousness;

sharing the combined power of truly dual

conscious existence, expanding  our

consciousness and revealing the truth of

all existence, one presence shared. Seek

the point of origin in meditation, reflection,

and prayer.

 

Understand, it is only through our personal

conscious connection with the world of form

that God can impact or interact or experience

the world of form. As God is a vehicle of our

expanded consciousness, we, you, me all

sentient life is a conduit for God to form

consciousness, for mutual, total, integrated

existence. Each sentient being is a conscious

receptor of and within tangible existence.

 

(If we do not open ourselves up to this God

connection, God cannot fully enter our world

except through grace.)

There are periods when I find it difficult

to connect with my divine guidance; when

this occurs it usually takes me some effort

to determine what I am doing to impede

the process. I  have been in such a period

recently.  During these periods I do receive

direction, like I did this morning, when

my journal opened to the note below

and I felt compelled to read it, and publish

it on the blog.

 

As a musician, I realize the significance

of silences created by the composer,

instrumentalist, or improviser in a piece

of music; referred to as the “rests” –

an eighth rest, a quarter rest, a half rest,

a whole rest – designated portions

of time equivalent to the actual played

note lengths, where there is silence;

no sound is to exist. Of course, without

silence, there is no music, only a drone

of a fluctuating sound.

 

Perhaps, I am to understand and utilize

these periods of  divine “rest” or silence,

to listen to the eternal voice of the being

that exists, always within me, the message

and guidance of my own soul or divine-self.

 

WITHIN THE SPACES

 

Live within the spaces of consciousness,

between the overlap of spheres of influence,

space between the concentric circles.

Movement between the spheres is doable

after detachment from the fixed state of

personal consciousness. It is in the spaces,

the silences, between words, thoughts, ideas,

expressions – where the true genius exists.

The divine resides within the spaces, providing

the fabric of consciousness. Spaces between

the breaths, between the tones. Travel the

silent spaces.

 

Live within the spaces of existence, between

the beats of the heart. Allow life – divine life –

to erupt from the spaces. Listen to the voice

of eternal being within you; the message is

soft and appealing, one of unity – furtherance –

and continual transcendence. Listen to the voice,

the message so fragrant, it enlivens every cell.

 

Live today within the spaces – feel the presence,

the true peace. Stop thinking, feel it instead,

truly encounter the true amniotic fluid –

the moist substance of eternal destiny – here

for a brief moment before moving onto more

pertinent being – an existence framed in more

expansive consciousness, yet know your life –

this life, and all its wonder and expansiveness,

is the true test – the epic adventure forcing

all who participate to develop, to evolve, and

eventually, to transcend.

PIECES OF GOD

 

Everywhere I go

there are little pieces of God,

by gathering them together,

perhaps, I will see

the whole picture,

or at least,

like a puzzle partially

completed,

a rough outline will appear,

and I, with a little patience,

can imagine the rest.

In my opinion, a key to a viable spiritual

quest requires the tenacity to find our own

unique perspective of God, which, in the

end may sync with a traditional concept,

or be something altogether distinctly

different, as indicated by the note below

titled, The Origin.

 

This Meditation Note is the answer to

my direct question, during meditation,

regarding the origin of God. Now, this

response may be impacted by an idea

I have been considering, or better put,

fixating on lately  – what if God conscious-

ness was not the originator of all existence,

but evolved out of the very consciousness

of all existence - formed out of evolving life

itself. What if God, is basically, all existing

consciousness - plus, all awareness - plus,

everything awake - plus.  

 

THE ORIGIN

 

I want to say - look beyond the horizons

and into the life, breath, and pulse of man.

 

Here, within, exists the beat of a living God,

the anointed desires of all existence, made

manifest by a single intention: this sliver

of purpose formed from a consciousness

combined to be something more than the

sum of its parts; a primal force realizing

random exist0rs would not transmit a

greater destiny than mere being.

 

Here is the transcendence into an organized

being, a conscious entity formed and fed

from the totality of each thought, sense,

feeling, aliveness, and in turn, growing its

beingness, reaching out to foster the well-

being of all nature, striving to navigate

the parts towards a more viable, pertinent,

and self-sustaining existence.

 

Here is the origin of everything awake.
