I find myself intrigued by the Meditation Guidance

below titled The Mirrored Soul, which indicates

that our authentic self exists fully formed within

God-consciousness works to guide us toward

the full realization of our potential. If this is

accurate, then it is plausible we do come into 

this world with a "Soul mission" or "calling"

that we must in some way ascertain and 

somehow reflect through living.  

 

THE MIRRORED SOUL 

Within God-consciousness resides the Divine image

of you, reflected and conceived in perfect oneness –

the Divine you, the concept of you in full potential,

the God you, the final and complete design of you –

the sincere Soul of pure God identity,  the blueprint,

the model, the destination of authentic, purposeful

being.

 

Our Divinity – our God self – our atman resides in

the total and universal consciousness of God – fully

aware of the past, actively working with us in the

present, knowledgeable of the potential and

possibilities resulting from present choice points.

 

This Divine reflection has and will always exist, and

is ever present and active in our lives, moving us

through our separation and limited perspective, our

ego desires and indoctrination toward a connection

with the true potential of our existence. We move

towards and connect with our Divine image – our

reflection of a perfect life – our God nature through

prayer and deep meditation – through envisioning,

dreaming, and clairvoyance.

 

Work to connect with and be guided by your Divine

self within God-consciousness, knowing this

is the road to enlightenment – true heaven on earth.

Let us strive today to seek a higher,

more prominent perspective,

a fuller sense, beyond the micro,

beyond the intricacies, into the complete,

the whole vision of this undertaking,

allowing this vaster, wider vision,

to reframe our scope, shift our paradigm,

impassion our day-to-day contributions.

 

Let us perceive the order, the purpose,

the intention, as we levitate from the ground,

through the sky, to darkest space, seeing

what was monumental receding into

a sliver of being, from object to line,

to dot until the gestalt is formed,

prominent without confusion,

the story revealed.

 

Let us, from this perch grasp

the Divine vantage point,

knowing every task is of merit,

contributing to its totality.

THE QUEST

We are each on a spiritual journey, both individual

and solitary, in search and pursuit of our own divinity –

the God which lives within us – the God we are and

will always be. Each life we encounter along the way

is involved in this becoming - whether realized or

unaware.

 

It is your spiritual mission to allow this journey to

unfold within you as your Divinity within – deep

within – pushes you towards the fresh breath

of new life – maneuvering your soul through

the illusion, the fears, the doubts, the ego’s dreams –

and even, at times –  resuscitating the Divine you,

pounding on your chest until a heartbeat appears

and a gasp of consciousness is surrendered.

 

This awakening is not easy – it requires the resolution

of the conflicting voices in your mind – the demons

John Locke’s Essay Concerning Human

Understanding was published in 1690,

defining consciousness as “the perception

of what passes in a man’s own mind,”

establishing what would be the modern

concept of consciousness.  

 

Since Locke’s opening gambit, scientists,

philosophers, psychologists, and mystics

have studied and pondered “the perception,”

leaving us still no closer than Locke with a

comprehensive understanding of the origin

and full dimensions of human consciousness. 

 

Lately, I have been focused on consciousness -

praying and meditating, requesting additional

guidance and clarification, hoping to further

explore what is, at least for me, the backdrop

for our existence and the basis of God in

our lives.

 

I am especially interested in what the message

has defined as the levels of consciousness,

as I am planning to outline and share in

Part Four of the Finding God On The Train

Story – encompassing our “personal or

local consciousness,” which is incorporated

as a subset of the more comprehensive

“nonlocal collective consciousness” of all

sentient life, again a subset of  Divine

consciousness, comprising the first two

levels, as well as all life that has previously

existed.

 

My hope is to join the “consciousness

debate” by offering a more comprehensive

theory of consciousness based on my

guidance.  So, as demonstrated by the

meditation guidance below received one

morning last week, my request for

guidance on this subject is being

sporadically answered, and as received,

I will share.

 

VISTAS OF CONSCIOUSNESS

Below the surface of being exists,

the underpinnings, the threads, and needles,

the substructure connecting allness to all else,

the energies, the particles, the bits, and the

pieces of viable existence, the base, the screen

on which, with which, reality manifests

and performs.

 

This is the sub-matter behind the matter,

the first thought preceding all thoughtful

connection, the conscious framework

we choose to consider reality a projection

upon a projection within our conscious

projection.

 

Realize the force of nature is in itself

the collective vision of billions of diverse

perspectives, an ingrained, hardwired

foundation expected to be, expected

to follow laws set in motion by an active God.

 

Consider and contemplate this interaction,

this mingling, this natural blueprint,

the vistas of consciousness, peering within

its marvels, miraculous flashes of light,

dwelling intently and deeply until the

props and fixtures are revealed, allowing

an awareness of the strings supporting

and holding in place this dimension,

these slivers of being give our world

form and function, mobility and energy,

purpose and proposition, as it flickers

in the projector's light.

The aspect of my spiritual blog work I enjoy the most

is the constant element of surprise in terms of what

I will be blogging or writing about it on any given day.

Most of my writing is what I call inspired, resulting

from meditation or direct requests for assistance, 

and transcribed without editing, except for the book

passages in which I have a tendency to labor over

until they are publishable. 

 

This morning, I wanted to be sure I had time to write

Ann's note, so I started with it first; the inspired

Affirmative Thought below, titled The Answers, 

came to me. I transcribed it, hoping it would make

sense to Ann, which it did, and moved on to do some

spiritual reading before meditating.

 

THE ANSWERS

The answers you seek are within you

            at the level of your Soul – existing

as part of the Divine spark, which

            motivates you to ask the questions –

while already knowing the answers –

            doing so to assist with your growth,

development, and transformation.

 

The answers you seek are presented in

            every real-life experience – each lesson –

a living dream with meaning – directing

            you to discover the intended message –

a revelation – an obvious clue enabling

            you to unravel the mystery of your

authentic spiritual potential.

 

The answers you seek may appear before

            even the question has been formed

within your conscious mind – so simply ask:

 

“What message does this life experience  

convey, what am I to understand?”

 

and the true meaning will be revealed.

I decided recently that I should start to read some

of the guidance I have received on a daily basis.

So, reaching for the black moleskin journal, where

I record my meditation guidance, and I opened to 

a meditation note titled The Question. 

 

As I read it over, I realized that it would be an excellent

opening - almost tailor-made for Part Three of the 

Crystal Path of Finding God On The Train Story to be

titled  The Soul and God Consciousness - The Divinity

Within Us, where I want to incorporate my God-inspired 

messages in a framework of the existing scientific

and mystical thought. Answering the question posed

in this guidance provides an ideal framework. So this

morning I started the morning with the answers,

and ended with the question. 

 

THE QUESTION

The question is this – are our thoughts truly

creating the reality we are experiencing and

if so, how does it occur, and how does it work?  

This is the most profound question of our

individual conscious impact on this reality 

we perceive. Are we merely pawns immersed

in the coincidences and whims of fortune, 

or are we active agents of creation? 

In this, what is our relationship with God?

 

Is life a cruel irony where self-will meets 

the enormously more powerful happenstance

or existence and eventually accepts its place?

Or is the human mind a purposeful and potent

creative interpreter and designer of the reality 

it perceives? And if we truly possess this power, 

why have we not realized it and begun to use

it for our benefit - creating heaven on earth?

 

This is the question we must investigate, research,

and by so doing, determine our Divine nature and

potential. To answer this question, we must find

the truth already uncovered by psychology, physics, 

philosophy, theology, and metaphysics – using

the perspective of both the scientist and the mystic

alike, which may enable and allow us, to use 

a Rumi phrase, to peek beneath the skirt of God.

 

This is our mission – so where do we start - with

the relevant guidance that has been revealed to date?

Use this as a credible starting point and venture

onward.

The past few weeks have been a blur,

literally, as we took turns as the patient,

first Ann, then me – were forced to realize

that flu vaccinations do not necessarily

mean you will not get the flu, although,

most likely, not the one you are protected

to resist, but instead, some genetically

unplanned for next of kin that has gone

under the radar.  

 

Although on the positive side, this medical

hiatus has proven supportive of spiritual

pursuits, especially prayer and meditation.

Given the extra time, attempting more

intensive meditation seemed to be a viable

option.

 

When I decide to, as I call it, go deeper,

I always prepare the way with prayer,

explaining what I am about to do and what

I want to accomplish. I ask for God’s assistance,

especially when dealing with the occasional

negative thoughts, images, memories, or

whatever might be unleashed.

 

When I did, I received the note below titled

Dive Deep– an example of what over the

past ten years of my quest, I have recorded

as inspired guidance and have termed

as Notes On Enlightenment(N.O.E.’s) -

to reflect that these are responses I receive

when I ask for God’s guidance. I consider them

inspired because I write down or transcribe,

what comes to me, word for word, without

editing. As the note below explains, most

mystics have conveyed, deep diving offers

its own spiritual treasure.

 

I close this post with a poem/prayer

DIVE DEEP

In the vastness exists all things, all that was,

all that is, all that will ever be: allow it to flow

unchecked, go with its currents and tides,

allow the waves of awareness to wash over

you and through you; observe without judgment,

for in this place, qualifications, expectations,

judgments are needless, wasted energy –

observe and move on when unappealing or

distressing, languish if desired, dive deeper

if desired, for this is the basis of life itself in all

its vagaries, vicissitudes, the essence of passions,

of desires, of strivings, of successes, and of course,

of failures – hopeless or needless blunders – yet

more important – the reachings, the yearnings,

the outstretched hope for more: what lies ahead,

the next step, the possibility if only, if only all

things are aligned – and when they do or are –

the expression of unbridled joy – the hallelujah

of existence. Dive deep, dive often, and be

transformed.

Meditation is the vehicle for exploring

the various levels of consciousness;

within the one universal mind that all

sentient life shares. We, like deep-sea

divers must set our sights on reaching its

extraordinary depths, following its siren

calls, listening for its sonar-like belts

in the bend-producing waters, submerging

blind at times towards the most profound

levels, where the treasures of oneness

and universal connectivity is strewn

haphazardly for ripe detection at the

precipice of being.

 

PRECIPICE OF BEING

A simple song - its soundless

rhythms - permeates my heart,

the invitation of an outer

consciousness erupts

in flavored words, meandering

in meditation’s hollow moments,

progeny – noun – (treated as singular or plural)

a descendant or the descendants of a person,

animal, plant, and offspring.

 

The concept of an emergent God has captured

my attention and contemplation, a God that

might have erupted from the creative life force

within us, a product of our confluent intentions,

given form by our joint hopes, dreams, desires,

imaginings, attracted by our incessant spiritual

need: eventually given life within our communal

consciousness, our shared universal consciousness.

 

Today, while meditating and focusing on this

possibility that humankind may have reached

out for salvation and transcendence, I was

offered the note below and jotted down these

inspired words.

 

AN EMERGENT GOD

We, humankind, are the progeny of an ever

evolving existence, of intentions, formed and

emergent, palpating with desire, fervor,

stretching to be more, to be alive, pushing

what is not into being, shaping formless into form,

an incubator for possibilities and potential.

 

God, as with all existence, is the result of this

creative cauldron, perhaps conceived by a

a multitude of hopeful whispers, pleas for

salvation, a reverberation of heartfelt intentions,

etched out from centuries of suffering and fear,

grasping for an overseer of humanities’ plight

and destiny; for a friend, an arbitrator, perhaps

to offer a sense of rationality, balance, and morality

in a tumultuous world.  

 

This God, formed in our mutual and shared

consciousness has been given life, taking shape,

With the writing of the Finding God On The Train

Story: I have journeyed through the spiritual

landscape offering my personal experience,

while working all along to relate it to the

New Thought and mystical wisdom studies

proffered through the ages.

 

New Thought proposes that within you, me,

each of us, even the not-so-good of us, is our

own internal Divinity - or Soul that reflects

our God nature, our potential, and our power. 

 

The Meditation Guidance below reflects

a response I have transcribed when asking 

for help understanding this topic, in hopes of 

revealing a fresh perspective. The guidance

opens with what might be considered an

excellent approach for pursuing any creative 

activity, where we are encouraged to stay

focused on clues and insights. 

 

But again, I am brought back to Heisenberg's 

Quantum concept of "Potentia" where infinite 

possibilities exist, waiting for the collapsing 

of conscious focus. 

 

I am coming closer to understanding what 

our real Divine potential may actually be as it

relates to our personal and God-consciousness:

if we were amenable to accepting it and 

harnessing its power. So, I am still looking

at the possibilities. 

                    

OPEN TO THE POSSIBILITIES

Open yourself to the possibilities surrounding

you, be observant at this time for clues, for

insights that will spark your thinking and send

you in a creative direction. Allow this wisdom  

to move through you as you determine the

next step.

 

Don’t be afraid to explore and add your opinions

and directions to the unfolding work. Peer inside

deeply, and you may see the connection between

action and tangible creation. Surely, all of this

leads to your own God nature – your own unique

Divinity and how it connects to all that exists.

 

Do not underestimate the power of the mind and

this connection as a tool for progress, creation,

forming your vision into a reality. Possibly all

existence is but a thought in consciousness

waiting to be realized – focused on and brought

to life.

 

Possibly, there are infinite possibilities for each

moment existing in potential, waiting for the

collapsing of conscious focus. Search for the

underpinnings, the order, the method God

uses to create with us – create your own

theory and possibly provide a new insight

into cocreation.

Ye who search of God, of God, pursue.

Ye need not search for God is you, is you!

Why seek ye something that was missing

ne’er?  Save you none is, but you are –

where, oh, where?

 

The desire to separate humankind from God,

and all sentient life, for that matter, becomes

more difficult as we explore the spiritual

concept of God as an expanding consciousness.

 

Although the quote from Rumi above,

demonstrates what has been a popular

esoteric mystical opinion - we and God

are one - the exoteric religious authorities

have, for the most part, considered this

to be anathema, heretical, often severely

punished. 

 

This may be a reason why I usually sit on this

type of guidance and have until I rediscovered

it this morning and felt ready to delve into

its meaning. Usually, I would rather not offend 

the sensibilities of those who cannot fathom

or discuss this close union of the divine and

humankind.  Just so happens that Ann, my wife,

is firmly in this group.  

 

Yet, in truth, most of my spiritual work has

been finding and redefining a less supernatural,

more user-friendly God, one that might fit

within our modern perspective. I believe

the note below proposes just such a

conceptual framework. Your thoughts?

 

ONE PRESENCE SHARED

We and God are intertwined.

We and God are intermingled.

 

A shared consciousness, where our

consciousness exists within the limitless

consciousness of God, stretching

the space of all conscious existence –

God and we are one, God within,

God without – together, we and God –

the creator of all form (which exists as an

extension of our joint consciousness)

are intertwined.

Form is simply and totally a representation

of the creative thought of consciousness,

and, as such, has no innate power. Always

in matters of form, we must return to the

originator and the origination of our sense

experience – creative conscious thought. 

Let us fully comprehend and grasp this

essential truth of comingled consciousness;

sharing the combined power of truly dual

conscious existence, expanding  our

consciousness and revealing the truth of

all existence, one presence shared. Seek

the point of origin in meditation, reflection,

and prayer.

Understand that it is only through our personal

conscious connection with the world of form

that God can impact or interact or experience

the world of form. As God is a vehicle of our

expanded consciousness, we, you, me all

sentient life is a conduit for God to form

consciousness, for mutual, total, integrated

existence. Each sentient being is a conscious

receptor of and within tangible existence.

(If we do not open ourselves up to this God

connection, God cannot fully enter our world

except through grace.)

Ann had lunch with an old friend a while back

when his family was visiting from out of town.

The friend's sister mentioned that she subscribed

to my blog and read my posts. The sister said that

she enjoyed the blog but that some of my posts

were rather "far out." Well, hold on, here is one

of those "far out" posts.

 

I woke up this morning with the phrase - "conduit

of consciousness" -  reaching meme proportions

in my mind. Since I fell asleep reading Joel S.

Goldsmith's book - A Parenthesis In Eternity -  

just offered as an iBook, I was not overly

surprised.

 

To be exact, I decided to look up the definition

of "conduit" and found the following:

1. a channel for conveying water or other fluid:

2. a person or organization that acts as a channel

    for the transmission of something:

3. a tube or trough for protecting electric wiring. 

 

With definition number two in hand, I decided

that this would be a great topic to review during

meditation, and when I was  about to enter the

silence, I asked for clarification. I received the

Meditation Guidance below and at first glance,

it is not anything startlingly new, and in truth has

been a recurring theme as outlined in the book.

 

What is noteworthy, at least to me, is the concept

that within God-consciousness, all existence, 

along with all human history, is simultaneous;

that is occurring at the same time. If I understand

this from a personal level, all phases of my life

or your life, or existence, is being viewed or

experienced from God's perspective at the same

time, or in unison - past, present, and future

as one. I guess  this is what being "omniscient" 

means. 

 

I will further explore what all this means in

my upcoming book chapter focuses on God

Consciousness, but for now, I believe under-

standing this concept will give us additional

insight into communicating effectively with

God.  As the note reflects, we each have an

individualized message waiting for us in the

silence. 

  

CONDUIT OF GOD-CONSCIOUSNESS

What does it mean to be a conduit of consciousness?

The path or approach to Divine connection is

only available from within, through personal

consciousness. This connection is forged through

centering the soul and with all other internal

forces in check, expanding human consciousness

into the realm of Divine or God-consciousness.  

It is an organized expansion accomplished 

through silence, listening for the still, small

force within.

 

The guidance you seek is always available,

the answers have been prepared for an eternity

waiting for this intended interaction. Often

your mind inhibits this connection with storms

of  thought  breaking up this signal and leaving

only static.

 

Allow the words to flow through you unaltered,

taking each one at a time, allowing each to find

its cadence and the meaning it strives to share.

No need to worry about missing the message

since it always lies in waiting for the proper time.

Realize you, and you alone, are the conduit to this

message – since within God-consciousness, all

existence, all history happens concurrently,

not sequentially, with past, present, and future

distinctions unnecessary – given that simultaneous

existence is conceivable and understandable.

 

All is always present in the perpetual now of God-

consciousness.

 

Simply, within the silence, listen for the message.

It awaits your attentive soul.

At peace, let us experience the gifts of this

day, spreading our wings so we may soar

high above all that might have mistakenly

captured our attention, and in this angelic

flight pay heed to our own Divinity.

 

Here, high above, there is no reasonable

doubt or question, just the sounds of life

rushing around us, through us, a simple

oneness, wholeness, unity – who are we

to claim distinction as we admire this

The Upanishads, as translated by Eknath Easwaran,

my favorite version of this spiritual scripture, which

features the teachings of the Hindu scriptures from

the Brahman period, about 500 BCE, considered

as one of the 100 most influential books ever written.

 

I find the Upanishads fascinating because they focus

on the universal spirit (Brahman) and the

individual self  (Atman). The Brahman is the

ultimate, both transcendent and immanent,

the absolute infinite existence, the total of all that

ever is, was, or shall be, which I would call God.

 

Through our individual self – which is Divine - we

are all connected to Brahman. Anyone who has

followed New Thought will recognize that the Atman

is often referred to as our Christ Nature  or Divine

self, which is connected to the Universal Mind

or God.

 

I would like to share with you this Meditative

Guidance below is titled All Connected.

As you read, you will see this guidance goes on

to help us better understand the teachings

of the Hindu mystics who wrote the Upanishads

over two thousand years ago.

 

ALL CONNECTED

I see myself in a million selves, all one and connected.

All connected. All one. All God. This is the essence of

the Divine connection with God within the self- 

connected to all the God selves living now or

transitioned. It is this connection of self-force

that creates the power and energy of the Divine –

the Divine self – the Divine Soul.

 

Only the ego, or the false self, made up of the

fears and indoctrination of a lifetime of separate

self-training sees ourselves as separate and not part

of the whole Divine Soul.

 

In God, we are alive and connected to the Divine

Soul or self and all selves. We can connect to this

energy and force, easily traveling through this

connection – via the Heartlight - into the hopes

and dreams, desires, and creation of all selves –

all living kind and experience, the essence of the

Divine connection.

 

Connect to your Divine self and connect to the selves

of all life connected – the Divine self of God. Travel

through this connection and explore the mysteries

of  life and all existence – explore the Divine within

you and all existence – One In God.

A major point of debate between modern spiritual 

seekers and established religious organizations

often center on where God exists and in what form.

I finished up Chapter Twelve of The Crystal Path, 

which is focused on connecting with the Divinity

within and describes God as a Universal Consciousness

rather than an entity.

 

I realize this point of contention not only determines 

your belief but also your approach to spiritual life.

 

Case in point: when I am Divinely inspired, I believe 

that my personal or local consciousness resides 

in my mind - via centered prayer and meditation  - 

connects with the Universal God Consciousness  -

non-local but accessible through my mind. 

 

This God or Universal Consciousness includes

my personal  consciousness, the personal conscious

ness of every human being who now exists and

all other sentient life in the universe.  

 

The connection or gateway  to this God or Divine

consciousness within us is often referred to

as the Crystal or Divine Self by my guidance 

on the train.  In fact, I have started to believe

that it is this very connection that makes us

distinctly human. 

 

So, I believe this Divine wisdom is readily available 

to anyone, everyone, for the asking. Simply ask,

and we shall receive. From my perspective, we are -

by way of consciousness - always connected with God, 

with any and all sentient life that exists now or has

ever existed. OK, maybe this is too much for one post.  

 

I say all of this as an introduction to the Affirmative  

Thought below suggests that you, me, and all of us

should tap this Divine wisdom. My Divine wisdom

tapping has changed my life over the past ten-plus years,

and after transcribing eight journals of Divinely inspired

guidance, it thankfully keeps coming. Ann says jokingly 

(I hope) that perhaps God thinks I need more help and

guidance than most. She may have a point.  

 

But my mission entails helping  people connect with God

in whatever shape or form they feel most comfortable 

with believing. I believe God does not worry about what

religious or spiritual car we are driving, if we stop,  

God is getting in for the ride.

 

TAP DIVINE WISDOM

Wisdom is not what we think; it is

    what we feel – arriving as requested

        from our Divine center, our souls,

        to ignite the creative spark needed

    to rethink the situation, discover the

solution, and progress.

 

Divine inspiration – the stroke of genius,

       the aha that expands our tunnel vision into

            a new vista of possibilities, carrying

        us to a new conclusion, creating

            new opportunities for living, for

            thinking, for approaching our lives

        with a fresh, creative perspective.

 

Today, tap your Divine wisdom, connect

    with the infinite intelligence

        always ready to enable you to see

        more, be more, create more,

    to scale the mountain or traverse the

        valley, in partnership with the Divine

    in you and the universal creative

        energy that is always glad to assist.

THE WORLD FRESH

Often, we must force ourselves

to see our world fresh – not from

preconceived associations and conditions

learned in moments of confusion or need,

but rather new, bursting with beauty and

wild wonder like a morning glory

on a sunlit summer fence.

 

Often, we must clear our eyes and minds

to sense our life fully – wiping away

the sleep of our lethargic awareness

constancy -  noun - the quality of being

            enduring and unchanging.

 

flux  - noun – a state of continuous

                      change.

 

God is the energy of creation within the fluid

flux of existence: the thrust that evolves us,

that improves us that has taken us kicking

and screaming from our dingy cave dwellings

into the existence of continuously more profound

possibility; with a growing, expanding insight,

that allows us to push all-natural constraints,

and, even as our repeated attempts may fail

at times, often at an incredible toll of human

life, this spirit of God born within us, wakes

our aching Souls as it stirs our daunted desires,

inspires our muddled dreams as we stumble

forward, humbled but wiser.  

                                                                                   

                 FLUID FLUX

        There is no constancy,

    only life in fluid flux,

        an ocean of possibilities,

        appearing, being, then

            fading; moments sought

            and then discarded;

     desired briefly, only to be

        repelled - as we in lucid

Power is grasped from within, existing in wait

for us to reach for what has always been our

birthright – the ability to transform our world

In response to my  many questions regarding 

how God-Consciousness is structured and

works, I received the Guidance below titled

God Thought.  Let me know your thoughts. 

 

 GOD THOUGHT

We exist within the consciousness of God –

a subset of the whole – a personal consciousness

within God-consciousness.  Our being, our form,

all that surrounds us, and all that is within us,

is God-originated existence.

 

All we see or experience is simply a thought

of  God – we are a thought of God – and within

this ocean of thought we have being, are conscious,

and we are bathed in the essence of God's thought.

 

We live within God – all we experience in this

collective God-consciousness – which our limited

consciousness is based – is founded in this

Divine consciousness.

 

In the extended vision of God, we get to explore

humanity – God thought manifested in full form

to experience this existence. We live submerged

in the creation of God thought – all made of the

same thought substance.

 

Within our  consciousness is an awareness of

this connection – this oneness of universal God

force – the Divine spark fully aware of its source,

its origin, and its destiny.

 

Within the collective God-consciousness is the

power and energy to create personal human

thought, the gift of creative power allowing us

to be one in our God potential,  to contribute

THE SEED OF GOD       

At the heart is the Crystal Soul,

the gem of life, the Divine Self,

the seed of God within you,

prepared to unfold into the Divine

essence of you, thought by thought,

prayer by prayer, it unfolds as planned,

a gleaming crystal of love created –

refracting and consuming the light of God –

translating the infinite into finite form –

powering – transmitting-receiving and

connecting with God.

 

Even if it has been forgotten,

it will glow again – released

it will grow again as you pursue

the journey back to your authentic self,

rediscover your spiritual purpose and

raise your eyes to the Divine again.

A major point of debate between modern

spiritual seekers and established religious

organizations often centers on where God

exists and in what form. As I work on Part

Four of The Finding God On The Train Story -

focused on God Consciousness and connecting 

with the divinity within, God is described as

a universal consciousness rather than an

entity and I realize this point of contention 

not only determines your belief but also your 

approach to spiritual life.

 

Case in point: when I am divinely inspired,

I believe that my personal or local consciousness, 

which resides in my mind - via centered prayer

and meditation  - connects with the Universal

God Consciousness  - non-local but accessible 

through my mind. 

 

This God or Universal Consciousness includes 

my personal consciousness, along with the

personal consciousness of every human being 

now existing, or who has ever existed, thus

including all other sentient life in the universe.  

 

The connection or gateway to this God or 

Divine consciousness within us is

often referred to as the Crystal or Divine

Self by my guidance on the train.  In fact,

I have started to believe that it is this

very connection that makes us distinctly 

human. 

 

So, I believe this divine wisdom is readily

available to anyone, everyone for the asking. 

Simply ask and we shall receive. From my 

perspective we are - by way of consciousness -

always connected with God, and as I will explain

in Part Four, with any and all sentient life 

that exits now or has ever existed. 

 

I say all of this as an introduction to the

Affirmative Thought below suggesting

that you, me, all of us should tap this

Divine wisdom. My Divine wisdom tapping

has changed my life over the past ten

plus years, and after transcribing five journals

of Divinely inspired guidance it thankfully

keeps coming. Ann says jokingly (I hope), 

that perhaps God thinks I need more help 

and guidance than most. She may have

a point.  

 

But my mission entails helping people

connect with God in whatever shape or

form they feel most comfortable with

believing. I believe God does not worry

about what religious or spiritual car we

are driving, if we stop, God is getting 

in for the ride.

 

TAP DIVINE WISDOM  

Wisdom is not what we think; it is

what we feel – arriving as requested

from our Divine center, our Souls,

to ignite the creative spark needed

to rethink the situation, discover the

solution, and progress.

 

Wisdom is the Divine inspiration –

the stroke of genius, the aha that

expands our tunnel vision into

a new vista of possibilities, carrying

us to a new conclusion, creating

new opportunities for living, for

thinking, for approaching our lives

with a fresh, creative perspective.

 

Today tap your Divine wisdom,

connect with the infinite intelligence

always ready to enable you to see

more, be more, create more, to

scale the mountain or traverse the

valley, in partnership with the Divine

in you and the universal creative

energy that is always glad to assist.

As I finish my meditation practice, as is my habit,

I often sit and listen for whatever might need recording, 

often resulting in the notes I published on this blog;

realizing what I am, is a listener, one of those who, 

figuratively, get down on their knees, put their head

to the ground, and try to hear what the universe has

to communicate.

 

Below is a yield from such an effort, not really

a poem, better described as a “Listening”  - like

a note from a thoughtful friend in the cosmos,

offering advice, and reminding me of the wonder

I am partaking daily. Like Emerson, I believe

we are all equipped to do our own listening, 

to connect with Spirit and share our musings,

if desired, with the world. 

 

WRAPPED IN LIFE

Sit still allowing the stillness

    to envelop your being, feeling

        the peace pervade the moment,

            breath upon breath, layering

        the motions of  your focus, here

    the unity of being exists, resides,

ready to reveal the secret of the

    universe - an energy of life within

        every cell, each thread, evolving

            with the oneness of purpose, to see,

        feel, touch, smell, and taste this

    experience of being, willing

        to cherish one morsel of the

            elaborate feast of living,

        a texture, a haze of color,

    the clang of an acorn

finding  ground – realize

    what a wonder surrounds you,

I believe we exist now on the edge of the

evolution of humanness. It has, in fact,

already begun - it is not a tweak to ensure

the survival of the fittest, or an upgrade 

of our genes to expand our capabilities

or form, but instead an expansion of our 

human consciousness, a heightened perspective

established on our unique human qualities

of loving-kindness, empathy, compassion, 

sympathy, caring, mutual respect, togetherness,

sincerity, helpfulness, tolerance –  in others

words, our humanity - where we choose to reach

beyond ourselves, towards our own divinity

within, our true God qualities, and by doing

so shift the current tide of this, our mutual

existence, towards communal salvation,

an all-inclusive transformation – with the

resounding reverberation of  joy, peace, love,

and happiness – the establishment of heaven

on earth.

 

This holiday season, let us all who understand

the necessity of a common effort to reframe

our shared consciousness, take the first

step together, rising up and celebrating  -

the best we have to offer, then reaching,

stretching, becoming the prosperous,

the empowered civilization we envision.

 

RISE AND CELEBRATE 

Let us rise and celebrate this life,

its fullness, its completeness, its splendid

beauty, its vast complexity, knowing

notion - a vague idea in which some

      confidence is placed.

 

We each have a notion about our lives,

a premise based on a concept or belief,

maybe just a vague idea as conveyed in

the definition shared above, more often

an ego-based assessment of what is

actually occurring in our existence. 

We layer these notions into a workable

theory, and through actual experience,

we acquire subjective empirical evidence

to give it a basis in truth.

 

We squint our mind's eye in our spiritual

pursuits and attempt the same undertaking. 

Personally, I am forever envisioning

the perfectly orchestrated world of

God-consciousness ordered and sound.

As the note below conveys, the inspired

messages I receive often follow suit.

 

What is your notion?

 

PERFECT ORDER

Today let us look through what appears

to be, to what really is, realizing beneath

the seeming confusion is a world of Divine

order with each moment and event perfectly

placed and unfolding.

 

Today let us accept and trust this order

knowing only graceful good waits for our

partaking – well beneath the surface of

our fears or doubts flow the stream

of peace and calm – placidly serene.

 

Today let us embrace this perfect order

allowing it to set in tranquil motion all our

undertakings – each salient expectation –

In New Thought, the concept of Christ Consciousness

often refers to our Divine Center or Soul, existing

within all of us; serving as our portal or connection

to God. The Hebrew Mystics, who follow the

teachings of the Kabbalah, believe in the existence

of many Soul levels with the “Neshama”-meaning

breath - associated with the highest level of human

spiritual awareness and connection to God.

 

I will consider that if you function from

this “Neshama” Soul or Spirit level, you have

reached enlightenment.

 

I would also say that Abraham, Moses, Isaiah, Jesus

and the other Hebrew prophets, along with Buddha,

Mohammad, Lao Tzu, and many other spiritual 

beings have hit this level of higher awareness and

connection with Source.

 

If you are not Christian, you could easily think

of this as Moses Consciousness, or Mohammad

Consciousness, or Buddha Consciousness

- because I believe all three of these spiritual

avatars listed above have reached an inner

mystical state awareness and Divine connection 

with the Tao, Allah, Source, Universal Intelligence,

Infinite Mind, Universal God-Consciousness or any 

term you wish to use to refer to a Divine connection

with God.

 

Here is a meditative note discussing this level of

spiritual awareness as Christ Consciousness.

 

POWER OF CHRIST 

The answer is within the guidance, the path,

and the way to enlightenment. Live through

the consciousness of your Christ center.

Find the center – move towards it and reach 

for its peace, joy, and harmony with life.

 

The voice of the Christ within you is soft but

profound. Listen internally through prayer

and meditation. Disregard the warnings

of the ego that may pretend to be the voice

of Christ within.

 

You want so much more - money, power

recognition, control, but these are illusions

created by a false reality.

 

Live pure, clear, honest, and loving, and you will

work beyond the ego. Your ego would have you

believe that your actions, or failure to act, create

this reality. Beware of your thinking; it is not a

positive force. The thoughts you have are often

not based on logic but on pain.

 

Be proud and loving and accept who you are.

You are a positive force life force who has

accomplished much under great challenge.

Christ loves you and truly appreciates your

strength, kindness, love, and spirit of adventure.

 

Move to the center – to the Christ spirit within.

Let us scan all of our positive emotions today

knowing this sentiment represents our Soul

felt thanks for the sentient life we now enjoy –

grateful for the delicate thread that stitches

the fabric of our lives together into a living,

vital, wondrous form - a Divine thread sowing

a myriad of possibilities and situations into

Although I have often used other words or phrases

to discuss the "Soul," such as Divine Self, Spiritual

Mind, or the Divinity Within, I am always being

brought back to the sheer power of this word.

 

Defining what this word means for each

of us is a major step in our spiritual journey,

listening to what it has to say to us is

the miracle that waits for us within. 

 

LET YOUR SOUL SPEAK 

Today let your soul speak and tell

        you what it needs to flourish and bloom,

            to be nourished and thrive –

listen with your heart of hearts, 

        not your mind, knowing beneath

            your consciousness flows a stream

of  Divine wisdom and enlightened desire.

 

Today let your soul speak – give it voice –

        give it the podium, enabling it and

             allowing it to express its desire –

reach out for its truth in your noisy world –

        let it boldly propose the unthinkable,

            the unreachable, or perhaps, just

to remind gently that you have stepped

        off your path and need adjustment.

 

Today let your soul speak, knowing

        the answer has always been within –

reclamation - rescuing from error and

returning to the rightful course.

 

It is at these times that I think I may be suffering

from an affliction of spiritual intrusive thoughts,

as I wake again to my new word of the day -

"reclamation" - on my mind. Of course, I always

lookup the definition to make sure I understand 

the often diverse meanings, and as I focused on

the definition provided above, I realized this is  

really a very powerful concept. 

 

As I usually do, I  centered my meditation on the

word and spent a half-hour receiving guidance

on regaining my untapped power and perspective,

all of which I needed. When I reached  to write

my note for today, I was not surprised to realize

that there was more that needed to be said, as

I transcribed the note below.

 

As I write this,  I realize that I have started to

allow erroneous thinking to begin to trim my

expectations, accepting less even before I have 

tested the waters, trimming my sails, so to speak 

in anticipation of the strong wind even before I

encounter a breeze, and as a result, limiting my

perspective needlessly. 

 

I guess it is time for a "reclamation project"

on my intentions and dreams. 

 

RECLAMATION

Let us work to reclaim what is truly ours

today, our courage, our strength,

our confidence in the power we possess –

the birthright so often lost in self

generated fears and condemnation,

the spark of Divinity we carry within.

Let this reclamation be complete and

thorough, no room or allowance in our

consciousness for unwarranted thoughts

of a malicious sentiment - just the purity

and clarity of our true natures – who we

represent - what we are entitled to –

our purposeful magnificence.

Today we reclaim and reinstate the

presence of mind, body, and spirit that

ensures our complete transcendence –

allowing our sights to be fixed on

thriving and flourishing, transfixed on

our power to create heaven on earth, and

the restoration of infinite well-being.

At the center of much religious thinking is

the concept of God/world dualism, where God

is separate and exerts influence on the world

through what is known as downward causation.

 

Those who have been reading my Notes On

Enlightenment published on this blog realize

that I follow the view that God and humankind

are actually intertwined in a co-conspiracy 

of action and creation, with humankind

the active agent of God on earth - through

this active living - expands the potential 

and depth of creative consciousness.

 

At the individual human level, I believe our 

personal consciousness is hardwired with

what I refer to as the Divine Mind - our divine

nature or soul, which acts as our creative

conduit to connect and cocreate with God

or Universal Consciousness. 

 

As noted in the title of the Meditation Guidance

below, this Blended Awareness is sparked by

individual intention, as each person creates,

via their own desires. As the first line of

the guidance below reveals each of us powers

and originates this creative process through

our own intention.

 

In other words, we spark the desire and team

with God in its cocreation, resulting in the

appropriate manifested tangible form.

Basically, what is being expressed here, 

is that our interaction with God is conducted 

via upward causation rather than downward.

  

BLENDED AWARENESS

We are powered by our own inception –

the infusion of our intention with God 

Consciousness -  replayed over and over

within our Personal Consciousness

until it flowers – erupting in a bloom

of creation, expressing  the union of our 

true God potential.

 

Consider this thought – as a particle of God

Consciousness you hold the key to universal

possibility – potential - merely by becoming

an expression of your God nature – refusing

to allow thoughts of separation to dissuade

you and throw you off course.

 

Let every action be a connected action, 

enabling your Divine nature and your form

existence to walk in unison, becoming

the vibrational harmony of two consciousnesses

being experienced together.

 

Push your ego and your operational mind 

to cooperate - watch as the magic begins –

igniting your world positively, impacting

all existence through your song – the blended

voices of two awarenesses returning

to the vibration of one.

Inviolable – prohibiting violation; secure

from destruction, violence, infringement,

or desecration; 2. incapable of being violated;

Sanctity – holiness, saintliness, or godliness;

2. sacred or hallowed character; 3. a sacred

Within each of us is a spark of the Divine

consciousness, pure and purposeful,

protected by a natural inviolable sanctity,

a sanctuary of clarity, a place of holy

order, a haven from the mundane

to the unimaginable, the place that will

echo our rejoicing as well as soothe our

pleas for mercy - with only one purpose

in mind, to uplift and transform us,

to aid in our true becoming.

 

Our first step is and will forever be, to

move to what is real and manifested,

the now – choosing the here and now –

over the then of the past or the when

of the future, as the note below suggests.

Begin again – understanding endings,

beginnings are but constructions

of our minds, the waters of consciousness

flow vigorously through each of us,

as we celebrate what does not begin,

and mourn what does not end; instead,

be the truth, accept your place as a

conduit of the constant now; the past,

the future, mere ghosts, and premonitions

turning us away from each moment

unveiling: our Divinity waits for

us to comprehend the truth; so as

impermanence turns our moments

to a more pertinent, useful dust, choose

now over then or when, turn towards

the life now exposed, saying a peaceful

goodbye to what was, and a joyful hello

to what now is, knowing, all is well.

Let us venture deeper into our conscious, 

subconscious and unconscious minds

to comprehend our divinity, our soul, and

its connection to the Universal Consciousness

Today return to your true spiritual

    power and the ability to tap the

God within you – the divinity waiting

    to evolve you and transform you into

a work of art – inspired art capable

    of molding, creating, and shaping

the world.

 

Today return to your true spiritual

    connection – a connection with the

consciousness of God – the living

    spirit of God always teamed with all

who have ever carried the banner

    of God’s power in the world – with 

every spiritual leader who has ever

    existed, waiting to guide you to a

better life.

 

Today return to your true intentions –

    your inspired intentions and know

you have the power to bring them

    to life – give them form and create

a life worth living – a thriving life –

a vibrant life – your perfect life.

THE DIVINE FORCE WITHIN

The Divine within you waits for your arrival,

for your awareness to catch–up, to wake up

to your true essence and potential. You are the

existence of God made manifest in physical form –

always with you - always waiting for you to

discover the full potential of your Divine essence.

 

The journey you need to take and master is the

journey within  - allowing you to connect with

your God nature and the Universal Consciousness

of God. God is not out there somewhere, but

inside of you through connected consciousness –

for how would an omnipresent God not be present

as an essential part of each and every sentient

life form.

 

As a leading-edge God presence -  it is your

responsibility to understand, nurture, and inspire

this force for creative, constructive, and pure

good in the world. Move through the portal

of consciousness and discover enormous and

infinite possibilities for this life you have chosen

to inhabit and live.

 

It is your choice as to how you use and reflect

this God force in the world – but by tapping into

this soul or spiritual center, you will uncover and

discover your authentic purpose, manifesting

it into your life as you move in the direction

of full cocreation with God.

 

Dive into your essence and discover the treasure

I have decided to present a few Meditative Notes

I have recorded that directly refers to Jesus or Christ

or Christ Consciousness. I am always working on

learning from the teachings and life of Jesus as Christ,

as I do from all the great spiritual leaders of the past.

 

I do believe Jesus was one of the most highly evolved

spiritual beings who have ever lived, and his life 

forms a path or way for all of us to emulate as

we move towards enlightenment.

 

New Thought often refers to the Divinity that we all

have within us as Christ Consciousness or the Inner

Christ. As we develop spiritually, we connect with

this consciousness, seeing the world as the

enlightened Christ. The following Meditation

Guidance focuses on a key component of this

way or path – Love.

                         

THE PATH TO CHRIST

Follow the path to Christ – through Christ –

with Christ – to the consciousness of Christ.

You are on the Crystal Path to the clarity of

consciousness – to pure connection with God

and man.

 

The path is pure, but the path is long, and at

times you will become confused and go off

course – even become lost. Follow the path

to Christ consciousness – do not be afraid –

do not despair, for God is with you for each

step.

 

Fill your heart with love – overflowing with love

for all creation as you turn off the constant manic

chatter of your mind. First, bathe yourself in love,

knowing your experiences today is part of the

divine order and the flow of your existence.

 

Love yourself and your perfection, your glorious

opportunity to experience the whole and abundant

life. Breathe out your negative, self-critical thought

and breathe in your splendor – your magnificence –

your wonder.

 

Loving yourself  - prepare to move forward -

freeing yourself from the details of the day.

Understand the illusion, you're often misguided

and unfounded interpretation of this thing you

call reality.

 

Remember, on the path, the reality you experience

is but a preparation – a sign of what you need to

learn or do to progress. Do not distort the now as

you view it through the convoluted lens of your ego

and see the magnificence of the journey and the joy

of moving on the path.

 

Follow the path and live, love, and be as Christ.

What if we could see the world the way that

God would perceive it? In the Affirmative

Thought below, we pose the question and

speculate on what would be on God’s mind

and how would God feel? 

 

Would God be focused on compassion,

love, kindness, or something else?

 

AS GOD WOULD SEE IT                                                      

Today let us see the world –

     our world – as God would see it – 

    alive with infinite possibility

and potential – abundant and ripe

    for further creation and evolution –

beautiful and wondrous without measure.

 

Today let us see the world,

    through God’s mind and emotion –

full of compassion, full of love,

     full of kindness.

 

Today let us reach for God,

    with the hands of God,

forgiving those who are struggling

    emotionally, mentally, physically,

or spiritually; and through love,

     assist them with their

realignment and return to joy.

It is choice and free will - our ability to create

ourselves out of our desires - which often

underscores the complexity of being human,

of being alive.  We can conceive in our minds 

the full blossoming rose - wine red with petals

of silk - and we are astonished by the beauty

arriving from one seed. Or the squirrel, the star

of the brief note below, who knows the pure

pleasure of being a squirrel and offers us

a simple nut of wisdom.  

 

I wrote this note below for Ann on a sleepy Sunday

morning, looking out at the gray sky, the snow

on the lawn, the oak tree outside of our sunroom,

watching a squirrel navigate a nut along a long limb

and marveling at the simplicity and the complexity

of existence.  Almost like a Zen master, I jotted

down the following note without explanation,

leaving the mystery of its meaning to the reader.

 

 THE SQUIRREL 

Through the sunroom window

  I see a squirrel maneuver

the limb of the tree – 

  how wondrous –

the squirrel being exactly

what the squirrel should be –

  a squirrel.

How perfect the life of a squirrel –

never desiring to be anything else

but a squirrel and succeeding.

 

As you can see, the note is shorter in length than

my usual Affirmative Thought notes, which are

usually first written for Ann before I publish them

on the blog. When I presented Ann with the note

later that morning with her first tea of the day,

she read it and gave me a half-smile and a casual

thanks as she tossed it gently on the dresser.

She turned and said, “I guess you didn’t have much

to say? I said,  “perhaps more than is apparent."

Half joking I said – “I just receive the messages

from God, I don’t take responsibility for the length

or content.” Ann gave me a half-laugh.

 

Almost two weeks later I am having dinner with Ann

at a local Italian restaurant, the kind of place we all

go to get a quick meal close to home, and Ann is

talking about work and she says, “you know, I have

decided to be a squirrel - I am no longer going to

try to be a rabbit or a dog but just the squirrel

I was made to be.” I almost dropped my fork 

full of pasta, thoroughly surprised the squirrel

had surfaced again.

 

Ann admitted that when I gave her the Squirrel

note she had dismissed it, thinking that I was just

tired or did not feel like writing that morning,

but the image of the contented squirrel kept

appearing in her mind. As time went on, she

decided the squirrel was being what the squirrel

was meant to be - fully authentic, and that was

why the squirrel was so happy and succeeded.

 

Ann said she then decided she was going to live

her life asking a simple question – “I am a squirrel,

am I trying to be something else by doing this? 

Am I trying to be the rabbit someone would

like me to be?"  Ann said she had decided to commit 

herself to always being just a squirrel? For Ann, the

squirrel had become a symbol of the authentic Ann - 

the Ann she was meant to be.

 

In the end, I also learned a great deal from Ann and

the squirrel. I do believe in our souls – we are born

with a divine spiritual instinct along with our genetic

predilections. When we know this Soul – this Divine

purpose  - our authentic purposeful life will shine –

we will discover the “Squirrel” in our hearts.

All we then need to do is ask Ann’s simple question –

are we being true to the squirrel we were meant to be?

I am often lost within my own expectation

of what this spiritual life should be;

even as my guidance reminds me to

listen more intently, to pull back from

self-creation, to listen for the glorious

sound of my own divinity seeking

expression, my soul’s stirrings.  

 

A CLEARER BEING

All of life is easy, peaceful, and simple,

do not create it otherwise. Find its meter,

its pace, proceeding with its cadence –

alive and rightfully enchanted, knowing

this is your destiny, your purpose.

 

Allow what is to be, paying no heed to

what is not; listen for the stirrings and

yearnings of a clearer being, a more

precious progression, accept and

approach, in sync with the tune,

the tone, the stream of quiet wonder

waiting for your soul.

 

It is here within this pasture of serenity,

all will be, or even not be, what matters

is what is – soft, sincere, secure – ingest

its every sound, its aliveness and proceed.

Easter and Passover are interrelated holidays, because,

of course, Jesus was Jewish and a Rabbi, who was put to

death during the Passover celebration. Many consider

Jesus the son of God and by natural extension, a God

himself.  Framing the question this way – was Jesus

a God who became a man, or a man who became, God?

The answer to this question is a matter of deep belief

and faith, and I do not have the answer.

 

Personally, I support the New Thought perspective

that sees Jesus as a man who has moved closer to his

“Christ or God nature” than any other human being in

history. With this fusion of man and God, I believe

came a power beyond our mortal comprehension.

A power to overcome death, heal the afflicted, and

manifest salvation throughout all time. Here is a

Meditation Note that came to me recently, conveying

the immense spiritual power of Jesus as Christ.

                                    

JESUS AS CHRIST

Through love, Jesus obtained the power of God and

became Christ. Like Christ, he used this power to overcome

death and manifested a force of love so powerful it moved

through infinite space and time and changed all creation.

This power of love, existing for all of us throughout

the ages is called salvation.

 

Jesus as Christ – showing us the way to God with the power

of this love, a connection that has become the savior of

mankind – his power always present – always available –

his path always waiting for us to follow.

 

Jesus as Christ, who obtained the power of God manifested

rebirth, and overcame the physical limitations of the body –

moving beyond the limitations of human thought to the

divine thought of God, where regeneration and rebirth

are divinely possible and plausible.

 

Jesus as Christ, with the power of God, obtained through

love is God’s gift to all mankind – God revealing through

Christ the true power available to man – infinite power

built on faith through love. Infinite power to create heaven

here on earth, if we can understand the way, the path

through God.

 

Jesus as Christ guided us that the way to God is through

love and a personal connection with God; with infinite

divine love. Just as he did, we have the ability to become

God-like by obtaining the power of God through love.

 

Jesus as Christ is God showing us the way to God,  

highlighting our ability, through love and a connection

with God – of  overcoming the limitations of the human

mind – the power to evolve to our rightful status as the

true sons and daughters of God.

When I receive a note like the one below,

I feel compelled to share its message.

I have, as many of you have, experienced

personal suffering in this life. Yet, even as

we are taken to our knees, as our tears

and words are mixed with a poignant – why,

we may realize that this is not a divinely

directed event, it is simply the nature

of this life, we now live.

 

I have come to realize that God’s place

is not to ensure that I avoid this suffering,

but that I am supported in overcoming

it when it does occur. And although you may

wince at me saying this, I can only point

to the note below for what appears to be,

at least for me, my answer.  

 

THROUGH EVEN THIS

We are not new; we are not old,

we are eternal, fully connected

to an infinite source of life and being,

a spark of divine purpose, intention,

one of an infinite multitude of positive

becomings, never alone, always connected -

a vessel of God’s wonder made manifest.

 

Today, work to perceive this very connection,

for it is - there, even in the turmoil,

even in the suffering, even in the bewilderment –

it is there to support you, comfort you,

enfold you in love and strength and hope,

to dry the tears, to support you up and over

the madness that may, now, envelop you.

 

Let this day be the first day of your

overcoming, accepting what is, with the

understanding that you are not alone;

accept God’s hand, rise, stepping onward

and through even this.

A COMMON ALLY

 

When needed, the direction we seek

is within, no wires or cables required,

just a moment of active silence and

a prayerful attention, an unedited

allowing, a soulful trust in the true

location of our founder.

 

Listening like this, through the chaos

and confusion surrounding us, within us,

stretching, striving to interpret the tender

words so calmly presented, let us

not mistake this act of love for some

pretense or false perception, being assured

the answer will surface.

 

Herein lies the opportunity for our

existence, when requested with clear

faith and unwavering belief, we each

possess a common ally, ready and fully

able to see us through the struggle,

to bolster our perpetual becoming,

to unveil our magnificence.

or an object of worship.

 

mantra (noun) – (Originally in Hinduism

or Buddhism) a word or sound repeated

to aid concentration or meditation.

 

Prayers and mantras, mantras and

prayers – both seem to be the focus

of my inspired meditation communication

these days, along with haikuish like

two to three line declarative statements.

Here is a montage of what has been

received lately.

 

    Dear Lord I hold

            your presence within,

    strong and vital,

            clear and purposeful –

    hold me within your

            infinite love,

    grasp me with your

            tender caring spirit,

    fully prepared to soar

            to become the becomeable,

    I am made anew,

            refreshed and pulsing

    with divine energy and

            everlasting love.

Let free the voice of sorrow,

take up the chant of renewal,

clear and wholesome, vibrant,

flourishing fresh and complete.

You are whole, complete,

and perfect; this and only

this is your mantra:

 

I am whole

    I am complete

        I am perfect

This is my truth –

I am wonder

Our true spiritual vision

As with most aspects of life, our spiritual

path is also unique; a singular endeavor,

even if we adopt a standard framework,

the heart of our belief is profoundly personal.

 

The note below, written in early October,

has languished on my desk, waiting to grasp

my attention: today it did, possibly, it will

speak to me or someone who is now realizing

what this path requires of them, and in so

doing, revealing what it offers them in

exchange for the effort.

 

OURS TO DO

 

Let God truly absolve and resolve,

as we simply, and securely, proceed

on the path we have spiritually selected,

our eyes fixed and focused ahead,

rather than behind, undisturbed

or dismayed by onlookers, casual

observers, or even the well meaning;

knowing this is ours to do.

 

Acknowledge, without validating,

the voices is our own heads,

realizing our own fear and doubt

may summon caution, even though,

at a deeper level, we are confident

and assured of our destiny and

our road to it.

 

So today, with a spring in our step,

prepared and positive, we venture

onward, with all who have taken this

route before as our secret guides,

our faith never stronger, our heart

never fuller, our destiny never clearer,

here and now, our heaven on earth

joyously unfolding.

Let us not be disturbed by setback

or disruption, rather trust instead

our faith, pure and vital, capable

of surmounting any and all or

life’s challengers – happenstance,

circumstance; even fates fitful stance.

 

This faith, based on a definitive

knowing, a compelling belief,

shields us from the tempest,

propels us through the dark days,

THE INTENDER

 

Our lives reflect a certain order,

a purposeful beauty, a structure

of intent set in motion, form upon

form, evolving, being, becoming,

dissolving – only to stretch to be

again, and then, again.

 

It is within this order we recognize

the intender, the perpetuator,

unseen yet substantial, ubiquitous

but elusive, easy to overlook in our

endeavors:  but let us not be hasty

with our sincere examination.

 

For like the wind, it invisibly shapes

our moments, fills our breath for

breathing, charts our every footfall,

there inside and outside of our

intention, this cleaver presence

shares our every tear and exclaims

our every joy: as it fills this page,

adjusts the eyes for reading; as it

forms the questions and provides

the thoughts for answers.
