I reach back to September of 2011 to feature

below a previously unpublished note titled

Envision Life. I feel this is a practice that I need

to master. Honestly, even after studying the greats

of New Thought mind control - Mulford, Atkinson,

Wattles, Larson, Neville, Troward, and Holmes,

to name but a few, I feel my talents in this area

are but remedial.

 

Many of us roll our eyes at the thought of actually

envisioning and attracting into our lives what

we want through strong intention and faith.

At the same time, we marvel at the greats who

have done just that to improve the world and

enrich their own lives. On the flip side, how

many of us spend our waking hours in constant

contemplation of scarcity, lack, suffering, and

loss, only to be taken down by our own focus.

 

It is time to use our cocreative powers to envision

a better life for ourselves and humankind. Yes,

if you think this is brainwashing you are correct,

but I assure the skeptic, after a true assessment

of our errant thought patterns, our brains may

truly benefit from a scrubbing. Chapter Eleven of

Finding God On The Train – The Book , offered on

the right hand sidebar of the blog as it is written,

titled Mind Control Approaches and Techniques,

covers the art of envisioning in-depth.

 

So, let us use our thoughts to sculpt and improve

our lives. To grab reality and mold it in our favor.

 

ENVISION LIFE

Think it, hear it, see it, touch it, be it

fully in your imagination to cocreate

your dreams through God’s infinite

love and power.

 

Imagine every detail, every aspect with

the fuel of your love and desire. Live

within your imaginings until it feels real

and becomes your reality.

 

Breathe in the life air of this new creation

until your envisioning  takes shape like a

sculptor’s art – caress its lines, memorize

its movement, fuel it with life – a living,

vibrant envisioning, clear and perfect in

its power.

 

Every moment you have, move back into

your envisioning, your imagining and

resume your life within, savor the sensual

experience and believe in its reality.

 

Never question, never doubt, only believe

in the possibility – envisioning until it takes

form in the reality of your life.

 

Envision through imagining the new life,

the new purpose, the new goals, never

doubting – only experiencing fully.  

 

Envision with love – strong desire –

feel the emotion – the happiness and joy

this vision gives you, until, it is completely

framed in the reality of form – given life

by your empowered, loving vision.

n0tion - a vague idea in which some

      confidence is placed.

 

We each have a notion about our lives,

a premise based on a concept or belief,

maybe just a vague idea as conveyed in

the definition shared above, more often

an ego-based assessment of what is

actually occurring in our existence. 

We layer these notions into a workable

theory, and through actual experience,

we acquire subjective empirical evidence

to give it a basis in truth.

 

We squint our mind's eye in our spiritual

pursuits and attempt the same undertaking. 

Personally, I am forever envisioning

the perfectly orchestrated world of

God-consciousness ordered and sound.

As the note below conveys, the inspired

messages I receive often follow suit.

 

What is your notion?

 

PERFECT ORDER

Today let us look through what appears

to be, to what really is, realizing beneath

the seeming confusion is a world of Divine

order with each moment and event perfectly

placed and unfolding.

 

Today let us accept and trust this order

knowing only graceful good waits for our

partaking – well beneath the surface of

our fears or doubts flow the stream

of peace and calm – placidly serene.

 

Today let us embrace this perfect order

allowing it to set in tranquil motion all our

undertakings – each salient expectation –

inspiring our untapped creative essence

as we are gently guided towards our

full unfolding.

New Thought hinges on the actual creative

power of our thoughts, emotions, and mental

renderings. Not realizing this aspect of our

power has resulted in the negative creations

we all face in our tumultuous modern world.

 

Tending to our thoughts, no matter how

seemingly inconsequential is the direction

of the note below, understanding the very

nature of thought to materialize, we are

directed to prune and weed our thoughts,

so only the healthy sprouts, those that

inspire, remain for the harvest.

 

As I write this, I am thinking about my

own thoughts lately, more muddled than

empowering, more confused than hopeful,

and I am thankful for this reminder. 

 

LIFE IN INCUBATION

In a moment of sincere reflection, often

we find ourselves adrift in a consciousness

of wakeful dreams whose meanings

and messages often escape our grasp,

placeholders for our focused attention,

when we take hold of thoughts and

dreams alike, infusing our clear intent.

 

Today, we realize every thought, vision,

dream, or fantasy, is a potential reality

forming, life in incubation, an expression

of possibility - our role is to give meaning

and purpose to these drifting scenarios,

feeding each our preordained direction,

our will based desire, our greater intent.

 

Let us today fully grasp this creative power,

stoking it with positive concepts, affirmations,

visions of growth, becoming and worthy

evolution - words and thoughts that inspire –

robust dreams of magnificent doings - oozing

with vitality, thriving with possibility,

CLARITY OF INTENTION  

Clarity of intention forms the basis of cocreated

existence. Formulate in words with strong emotion

a set of proposed intentions. Document and

remember each in vivid detail, breathing life

and energy into their beingness, creating each

within your consciousness and soul.

 

Now, with an inner declaration, inform the universe

of your creative intention, of your complete belief

in the intended outcomes, fully expecting what

is required to be set in motion, accelerating the

cocreation needed to proceed onward, believing

fully in positive outcomes.  

 

Spend visionary thought time with each intention,

immersed in the details until the vision takes shape

and life; and within take up residence, living within

this expected reality, existing clearly with a firm belief

in the proposed reality of this cocreation effort.

Animate and activate these visions, willing

them into being – whole, vibrant, alive.

DO WE HAVE SPIRITUAL POWER?

ARE WE POWERFUL, POWERLESS,

OR SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN?

 

Let’s discuss the most popular spiritual power,

which is the ability to manifest, cocreate, or attract

into our lives and what we focus on mentally.

Best known as the Law Of  Attraction. 

 

My guidance often refers to this as the “Power

To Manifest.” To start off this discussion, I will

reach back and republish a few posts that cover

this ground fairly well.

 

If any of this is new to you, I suggest taking the

time to read Chapter Three of Finding God On

The Train titled New Thought Spirituality

Yesterday and Today, for a quick primer,

available under the Book Chapters tab on 

the right-hand sidebar on the blog.  

                   

COCREATING WITH GOD                                  

A key concept in New Thought is the Law of Mind

Action, better known these days as the Law Of

Attraction, which features our ability to cocreate

with God.  It took me some time to accept this

concept that we could actually tap some innate

spiritual ability, and manifest what we hold in

consciousness into the physical world and that

this happened without much effort. 

 

Having seen this Law in action, I now believe

it is true but is dependent on our full belief

in the process. Since this has been an area that

I have struggled with, and I have received much

guidance on how to make this a reality. In the 

Meditation Guidance below titled, The Power

To  Manifest, I am given a very clear look on 

how to approach the power of cocreation.

 

THE POWER TO MANIFEST

You have the power to manifest whatever

you need or want into your world – to

bring it to being – to bring to life your

visions, dreams, and fantasies through

the pure focusing of your mind.

Cocreating through your thoughts and 

connecting with God's energy – all of life –

abundant and authentic life awaits.

  

All that is needed is your belief and the

clarity of your thoughts and emotions. 

You must suspend doubt, fear, and

contradiction, and with all your mental

focus, visualize, and emotionally envision 

the action, person, place, event, circum-

stance, or thing you want to manifest

into this world.

  

The natural and spiritual law, through

right attraction will send out the signal

through the spiritual network and

the result will manifest – cocreated through

right desire and fixed focus. If you are 

aligned in thought and emotion – this

power creates an unstoppable signal

of vibrational desire and the result

will come.

  

You must always be ready to receive,

ready to receive your creation – your

mind creation from the network - in

order to receive the delivery. First,

believe, then with clear emotion and thought 

focus on the desired manifestation, 

and then prepare to receive.

 

Do not doubt, do not question, and do

not become impatient. Work today on

constant positive manifestation. It is

time to manifest the magnificence 

of your life.

As I have presented the God I met on the train,

I have realized that “my God,” instead of being

a separate entity is intertwined with and coexists

with all of sentient life, an active partner instead

of a controller of humankind, existing as a creative

force, like a kiln where our ideas can be fired and

given lasting form.

 

The note below, titled Tangible Creation, expands

our perspective of the creative force of God in our

lives, telling us that our contribution is the total

focusing on our emotionally charged desire, fueled

by complete belief.

 

TANGIBLE CREATION

Tangible creation is envisioned as desire

formed into existence through the power

of cocreation, through your Divine Spirit 

connected and one, with God’s force and

the power of creation.

 

Tangible creation is thought in form,

substance, where the imagined becomes

real takes life and appears in front of you.

 

Tangible creation springs from total focused

desire, uninhibited by the thought of lack or

impossibility – empowered by emotionally 

charged belief, powering the connection

to both your and God’s creative force –  

a life force combination so infused with

potential – intention – that it becomes real –

takes shape – and inhabits conscious form.

 

Tangible creation is your birthright – is at

the essence of the human spirit – the Divine

Soul – a power so vast but often unutilized, 

except for those who marshal its forces and

work to create the world of their dreams –

their heaven on earth. A power fueled

by complete belief, the absence of doubt,

loving desire, and faith in the creative

power of the Universal Mind.

 

Here is the universal power at the fingertips

of humankind. Learn it, harness it, and

create with it now!

Often, I allow the words to appear and find

their place as willed from beyond, or perhaps 

deep within myself, I am never quite sure,

and as with most things spiritual, the source

is not readily clarified. 

 

I do believe this force that touches our hearts 

that some of us recognize as Divine is not

held to our narrow perspective: our sliver

of time, but is the becoming itself, 

the emergence of life pursued, encouraging

all who will listen to strive further, to keep

pushing, thus being made more alive by

the very momentum created out of our living,

and like a joyful child being playfully spun -

shrieking with laughter - cajoling us to spin

faster - please, faster. 

  

THE PURSUIT OF BECOMING

Allow what is to be without fret

    or sorrow or consternation,

        being aware of the true destiny

of this existence, a life lived

    in pursuit of becoming what

        has been established before,

and will be forever after:

    predestined destiny, the arising

        of fuller, more fragrant possibilities,

do not dismay but flourish,

    for this time has been and will

        forever be a charted course

of a multitude of strivings,

        reachings, graspings, and when

            a grip is found, seeking leverage,

        summoning strength and finding

new ground, an unexpected stance,

        a wary balance, a fresh perspective,

            a new, ripe beginning from which

to reach, to strive, to seek again

            and again, and forever again –

in pursuit of becoming.

The Law of Attraction, as it is most widely known,

proposes that God has set in motion a natural/

universal law, which enables each of us to attract

into our lives, whatever we so desire, as long

as it is done with faith and fully aligned intention.

 

As I write this, I am wondering if Jesus was 

the originator of this Law of  Attraction concept,

for his central message centered on how to use

prayer effectively to obtain what we desire or

intend. And, of course, his use of prayer in

healing actually kickstarted the New Thought

movement.

 

 “Whatever you ask for in prayer with faith,

you will receive.”  (Matthew 21:22)

 

“Ask and it shall be given you; seek and you

shall find; knock and it will be opened to

you.” (Matthew 7:7)

 

Deepak Chopra, in his exceptional book,  

The Third Jesus, The Christ We Cannot Ignore,

explores this connection and much more.  

 

The note below asks us to stretch, to see beyond 

the limitations set in motion by well-meaning,

but misguided authorities. I would have to guess

this warning probably includes me: so please 

understand this is my opinion or impression, 

not meant to challenge yours.

 

Note, in this quest for a positive personal

spirituality, we who have declared spiritual

independence - spiritual freelancers, so to speak,

all get to create our own approach, believing

what we wish, what actually works for us;

or moves us; and in the end, if desired:

free to tailor our own personal dogma.

I guess we might call this approach a

“personalized spirituality.”

 

In truth, I don’t really believe that we are

attracting “bad or evil” into our lives based

on the Law of Attraction. Seems to me we

do this very well, without help, on our own

ego-based efforts. 

 

I propose - our indwelling Divine connection

knows what is essential for our authentic

development: is fully aware of our calling,

and cocreatively works with us - when we

cooperate and are aligned - to accomplish

what we truly need to fulfill our mission.

 

I do believe we are the hands and feet of God,

and must take an active – “constructive” –

role in the cocreative process. This may

be the reason why success seems to come

to those who are prepared and willing

to work hard to accomplish their intentions.

This makes even more sense, to be aligned 

refers to our being constructively involved in

what we wish to attract.

 

OUR DIVINE PARTNERSHIP

We often must stretch to see beyond the limitations

placed on God and humanity by well-meaning,

but misguided authorities, realizing instead

the integral relationship which exists between

the creative force and the constructive,

effort-based force.

 

As we understand and fully accept the creative

nature of God, let us take advantage of this gift

and grace, seeking guidance and direction, asking

for insight and suggestions, allowing God to inspire

our plans and make clear the way forward.

 

Then, let us realize our individual constructive

effort is required, we must implement the actions

needed, lay the bricks, plant the seeds, gather

the resources to support the undertaking,

doing what needs to be done and, in the end,

reap the harvest of our divine partnership.

Ye who search of God, of God, pursue.

Ye need not search for God is you, is you!

Why seek ye something that was missing

ne’er?  Save you none is, but you are –

where, oh, where?

 

The desire to separate humankind from God,

and all sentient life, for that matter, becomes

more difficult as we explore the spiritual

concept of God as an expanding consciousness.

 

Although the quote from Rumi above demonstrates

what has been a popular esoteric mystical opinion -

we and God are one - the exoteric religious authorities

have, for the most part, considered this to be anathema,

heretical, often severely punished. 

 

This may be a reason why I usually sit on this type

of guidance – note that I recorded this guidance

below mid-July of 2013 – and have not returned to it,

until I rediscovered it this morning and felt ready

to delve into its meaning.

 

Usually, I would rather not offend the sensibilities

of those who cannot fathom or discuss this close

union of the Divine and humankind. Just so

happens that Ann, my wife, is firmly in this group.  

 

Yet, in truth, most of my spiritual work has been

finding and redefining a less supernatural, more

user-friendly God, one that might fit within our

modern perspective. I believe the note below is

proposing just such a conceptual framework.

Your thoughts?

 

ONE PRESENCE SHARED 

We and God are intertwined.

We and God are intermingled.

 

A shared consciousness, where our

consciousness exists within the limitless

consciousness of God, stretching

the space of all conscious existence –

we and God are one, God within,

God without – together, we and God –

the creator of all form (which exists as an

extension of our joint consciousness)

are intertwined.

 

Form is simply and totally a representation

of the creative thought of consciousness,

and, as such, has no innate power. Always

in matters of form, we must return to the

originator and the origination of our sense

experience – creative conscious thought.

 

Let us fully comprehend and grasp this

essential truth of comingled consciousness;

sharing the combined power of truly dual

conscious existence, expanding  our

consciousness and revealing the truth of

all existence, one presence shared. Seek

the point of origin in meditation, reflection,

and prayer.

 

Understand it is only through our personal

conscious connection with the world of form

that God can impact or interact or experience

the world of form. As God is a vehicle of our

expanded consciousness, we, you, me all

sentient life is a conduit for god to form

consciousness, for mutual, total, integrated

existence. Each sentient being is a conscious

receptor of and within tangible existence.

 

(If we do not open ourselves up to this God

connection, God cannot fully enter our world

except through grace.)

We are the physical missionaries of God

in this world, the keepers of existence

as we know and experience now.

Through our purposeful, mindful actions,

we are the creators of heaven, and I am

afraid, the stokers of a very intense and

fiery hell on earth.

 

We are the soft tentacles of God.

Let us today, realize that we must hold

fast to the vision of a more worthy being,

molding this worthy vision in our hearts,

in our Souls and our every single thought:

knowing that even one positive thought or

gesture will nudge all of us forward.

 

THE SOFT TENTACLES OF GOD

Reach out into life, into all existence,

molding it into a solid vision of your

aspirations, dreams, wonderings –

forming it with purpose and intention,

to coincide with your imaginings,

knowing that within this approach exists

the first cause of all thoughtful creation,

this is when and where “idea” solidifies,

finding structure and permanence.

 

Reach out, realizing you are the conduit

for Divine inspiration, the soft tentacles

of God, stretching to push all existence

forward, to guide it toward a more worthy

being: grasp this challenge as you lay the

foundation for a more perfect existence,

where love, humility, hope, and peace

form the basis for all action.

 

Reach out, sharing your clear vision,

perpetuating the message, fostering a sense

that our fate is only sealed by a limited,

caustic perspective, easily loosened by 

a unified reminder that we, each of us,

humanity as a whole holds the reins

to a more flourishing existence through

With the writing of the Finding God On The Train

Story: I have journeyed through the spiritual

landscape offering my personal experience,

while working all along to relate it to the

New Thought and mystical wisdom studies

proffered through the ages.

 

New Thought proposes that within you, me,

each of us, even the not-so-good of us, is our

own internal Divinity - or Soul that reflects

our God nature, our potential, and our power. 

 

The Meditation Guidance below reflects

a response I have transcribed when asking 

for help understanding this topic, in hopes of 

revealing a fresh perspective. The guidance

opens with what might be considered an

excellent approach for pursuing any creative 

activity, where we are encouraged to stay

focused on clues and insights. 

 

But again, I am brought back to Heisenberg's 

Quantum concept of "Potentia" where infinite 

possibilities exist, waiting for the collapsing 

of conscious focus. 

 

I am coming closer to understanding what 

our real Divine potential may actually be as it

relates to our personal and God-consciousness:

if we were amenable to accepting it and 

harnessing its power. So, I am still looking

at the possibilities. 

                    

OPEN TO THE POSSIBILITIES

Open yourself to the possibilities surrounding

you, be observant at this time for clues, for

insights that will spark your thinking and send

you in a creative direction. Allow this wisdom  

to move through you as you determine the

next step.

 

Don’t be afraid to explore and add your opinions

and directions to the unfolding work. Peer inside

deeply, and you may see the connection between

action and tangible creation. Surely, all of this

leads to your own God nature – your own unique

Divinity and how it connects to all that exists.

 

Do not underestimate the power of the mind and

this connection as a tool for progress, creation,

forming your vision into a reality. Possibly all

existence is but a thought in consciousness

waiting to be realized – focused on and brought

to life.

 

Possibly, there are infinite possibilities for each

moment existing in potential, waiting for the

collapsing of conscious focus. Search for the

underpinnings, the order, the method God

uses to create with us – create your own

theory and possibly provide a new insight

into cocreation.

I am a magnet for positive outcomes,

all good comes to me now. 

The expectation of good is at the center

of true positive thinking, it really is

the epicenter of New Thought. If our

thoughts are things or, better put,

become things or take tangible form,

then we truly do cocreate our existence,

and it is imperative that we succeed

in our mind control.

 

My magnet mantra, in italics above,

works for me because it enables me

to focus my consciousness, especially

when I realize that reality may be

presenting an alternative view or

perspective. Sometimes, I am like

the child in mid-tantrum, covering

my ears, closing my eyes, I repeat

this mantra over and over, refusing

to stop until my negative thoughts

give up.  I have learned they often will.

 

Belief and faith are the elixirs that allow

us to transcend what we consider “logical”

or “realistic,” and utilize these spiritual

treatments for our greater good.  

  

RECOGNIZE AND RECEIVE 

The  universe is always working in our

favor, we need to stay aware, open to

the possibilities, the happenstances,

the coincidences, the opportunities –

presented by God’s grace, aligning

ourselves, preparing ourselves, ensuring

we are open to recognizing and receiving.

 

This stream of good offers the aware

not only what has been prayed for,

but even more, the essentials that

will be needed to fulfill the steps

yet understood or conceived.

 

Today, let us be attuned to the moment,

open to receive all that is presented,

being a mental magnet attracting good

with every step, with every breath,

hearts open, arms outstretched wide

and welcoming, knowing this is our

entitlement, our true inheritance.

Sometimes, my guidance leads me to a message

I have already received, recorded in my journal,

but have failed to notice or fully comprehend.

This is the case with the poem offered below

which, on the surface, at least,

provides a poetic description of the thought

based cocreation process.

 

THOUGHT INTO BEING

Tangible existence molded into form by 

firm intention powered by imaginative vision, 

a process of unfolding, being, total restoration

of a singular idea expressed, finding form, 

through conscious cooperation, the creator

and the creation, the baker and the oven,

the smith and the cauldron meet in perfect

harmonic unison, as the glassblower's breath

travels the tube, finding expression, breath

in the molten sand, the thick glowing liquid

expands, expiration intent on becoming, 

a life-giving way to what was not before,

yet now, in transparent splendor is viable,

intact, artful, thought bursting into being.

At the center of New Thought spirituality

our minds to create tangible substance –

process that we most resemble God.

story -  utilizing our gift of creative energy

The creative energy of God is within you –

surrounds you – radiates from you  - infusing

you with the creative powers of the Universal

Mind.  Simply tap this power by going within

and connecting to its source -  then feel

the surge of perfect thought – alive within

force within you.

 

All creativity is at your fingertips, ready to be

harnessed by your consciousness – open the

canvas and create the life of your dreams –

guidance you wish to convey.  There can be no

Whatever you ask for in prayer with faith, you will receive.

                Mathew 21:22.

 

So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you

have received it, and it will be yours.

                                                                                     Mark 11:24.

 

Much of New Thought is based on these two quixotic

and revolutionary quotes offered by Jesus of Nazareth,

that without question demonstrate his clear and profound

comprehension of the very essence of our relationship

with God.

 

I believe Jesus would read the guidance I post below,

titled Our Tender Grasp, and be in agreement.

 

No matter what faith we profess, it behooves us

to realize that this concept of the doable nature

of firm intention with solid faith is worth mastering,

or at least comprehending.

 

So often, individually and collectively, we listen

to all who blur our focus and, in the end, find

we have lost our grip on what we so sorely need.  

 

As we reflect on this, let us, with our own firm

intention and solid faith intact, reach out 

to evolve this world, our world, once more.

 

OUR TENDER GRASP

There is no destination beyond our reach,

no vision incapable of taking form and life,

no sentiment or emotion that eludes our

tender grasp – all is doable, possible with

firm intention and solid faith; strengthened

by a resolve that refuses to be deterred or waylaid;

a force of will significant, energized – set in full

enthusiastic motion – unrelenting – a united

focus on deserved attainment.

 

With this clear approach, allow no doubt,

fear or concern to blur the focus; denying each

as they erupt as unworthy and unwarranted;

and with equal measure turn a deaf ear and

blind eye to any criticism, judgment, opinion,

or envious conceit tended by friend or foe alike;

proceeding instead with a scrubbed mind,

whitewashed, empty of harmful self or other -

defeating chatter.

 

Thus prepared, we move adroitly toward what

is waiting for our full discovery and claiming our

due reward for faith and undaunted determination;

open to receiving what has been prepared for

those who master this belief-based becoming.

As we have discussed,  the focus of the message

of  Finding God On The Train Story is that

we and God interact through a shared

consciousness, and as a result, as the note

below conveys. a “logical” outgrowth of t

his conceptual framework that we share:

a combined existence teamed to make

the most of our endeavors and our lives." 

This, of course, is facilitated, and

the benefits of co-existence maximized

when we actually buy into this framework.

 

Likewise, this notion is built on

the premise that every living being has

an inner Divine nature and connection,

that even with flat-out negation,

this Divine connection cannot be turned

off or severed. Thus, the opportunity

for this inner Divinity to assist even

the totally lost in reclaiming their

redemption.

 

We, who believe in combined being,

are in a unique position to actually

cocreate with God our lives of joy,

peace, love, and happiness – heaven

on earth. Others, will benefit from

God’s close proximity and ability

to assist when possible.    

 

COMBINED BEING

The lasting partnership of total oneness

asks for only acceptance, a willingness

to be one with the enveloping consciousness

of the eternal spirit, open to its flow, its push

and pull of complete awareness.

 

This consciousness incubates and fosters

the individually perceived awareness,

seen by most, as distinct and separate.

Spirit is with you as the air you breathe

is with you, dislocation, separation is

untenable, impossible; yet many conjure

a distance between the created and

the creative force of all.

 

Understand that Spirit, the infinite

awareness, through the soul, provides

the framework for a lasting partnership

of combined being, able to live and

be a united unfolding presence, open

to engender form from well-intentioned

thought, to partner in the cocreative

wonder of living, being, becoming.

resonance – the quality in a sound of being deep,

the ability to evoke or suggest images, memories,

and emotions:

physics – the reinforcement or prolongation

of sound by reflection from a surface or by 

the synchronous vibration of a neighboring

object; a short-lived subatomic particle that

is an excited state of a more stable particle.

 

OUR RESONANCE

Our thoughts resonate; our emotions resonate;

our every attitude, enthusiasm, or inspiration

resonates with a clear vibration of ‘sound’

existence; being, communicating, through

the physical and the spiritual universe,

an intention, a purpose, a signal of possibility,

connecting firmly to all surrounding existence

a declaration of determination which, in turn,

creates like expressions, a chorus, a harmony

of continual becoming, sounding, rebounding,

resounding.

 

It is essential that our sonic communication

matches our desires, our true intentions;

the pure, positive, productive voice of the hopes

and lasting happiness: fixing on this tuning,

rather than the fearful tremors and

the dissonance of the discarded, the unwanted,

the resisted; those vexing expressions of darkness,

of pending doom, with their unfolding stories

of possible, dismal consequences, often replete

with life’s suffocations and sorrows – and instead,

in place of – let us draft a fresh story, a more

wholesome story, one of overcoming, flourishing,

singular transcendence and true success –

resonating a sound so strong, so resilient

it vibrates our life, all of life, towards wholeness,

more-ness, stretching us upward, propelling

us in unison with a solid declaration of growth.

At the center of much religious thinking is

the concept of God/world dualism, where God

is separate and exerts influence on the world

through what is known as downward causation.

 

Those who have been reading my Notes On

Enlightenment published on this blog realize

that I follow the view that God and humankind

are actually intertwined in a co-conspiracy 

of action and creation, with humankind

the active agent of God on earth - through

this active living - expands the potential 

and depth of creative consciousness.

 

At the individual human level, I believe our 

personal consciousness is hardwired with

what I refer to as the Divine Mind - our divine

nature or soul, which acts as our creative

conduit to connect and cocreate with God

or Universal Consciousness. 

 

As noted in the title of the Meditation Guidance

below, this Blended Awareness is sparked by

individual intention, as each person creates,

via their own desires. As the first line of

the guidance below reveals each of us powers

and originates this creative process through

our own intention.

 

In other words, we spark the desire and team

with God in its cocreation, resulting in the

appropriate manifested tangible form.

Basically, what is being expressed here, 

is that our interaction with God is conducted 

via upward causation rather than downward.

  

BLENDED AWARENESS

We are powered by our own inception –

the infusion of our intention with God 

Consciousness -  replayed over and over

within our Personal Consciousness

until it flowers – erupting in a bloom

of creation, expressing  the union of our 

true God potential.

 

Consider this thought – as a particle of God

Consciousness you hold the key to universal

possibility – potential - merely by becoming

an expression of your God nature – refusing

to allow thoughts of separation to dissuade

you and throw you off course.

 

Let every action be a connected action, 

enabling your Divine nature and your form

existence to walk in unison, becoming

the vibrational harmony of two consciousnesses

being experienced together.

 

Push your ego and your operational mind 

to cooperate - watch as the magic begins –

igniting your world positively, impacting

all existence through your song – the blended

voices of two awarenesses returning

to the vibration of one.

The most difficult New Thought concept for me 

to originally accept, was the idea that I personally

create my life experience through the Law of

Attraction and Mind Action. I found it difficult

to accept personal responsibility; especially

for the less than desirable aspects of my life. 

There were always “circumstances to blame”

or the negative actions of others. For now,

I offer the Affirmative Thought below as food

for new thought.

   

YOUR CREATION

Today wake and realize you are

the architect of this life – line by line –

movement by movement – each scene –

each act – each moment forged in your

creative mind and formed as life.

 

Today wake and realize that you are

the designer of the garment you wear

each day – the fabric threaded with

each emotion – desire – want – tightly

woven at times to protect you from

the elements – colored in hues to

match your mood – your passion –

your visual pleasure.

 

Today wake and realize that you are

the artist and on this life canvas, you

select the medium – oil, acrylic, ink or

etching to breathe life into this creation –

one thought at a time.

of divine love -  infinite attention

providing an opportunity to cocreate

a life of vast wonder and worthy

FULLY IMAGINE 

 

Today, we realize that our dreams

only wait until we can fully imagine

an abundant future where we trust

all will be provided. We understand

we must see an abundant life ahead,

not one of lack or meager provisions.

 

Today, we open up our imaginations

and see more not less, plenty not

scarcity, positive, not negative,

all rather than some. Our dreams will

not manifest and appear in a lack

of trust in our futures.

 

Today, we turn away from envisioning

a future built on the meager provisions

of today and instead, prepare a

home of overflowing wonder – where

all is provided – where only plenty

is available. This is the fertile ground

for the seeds of our dreams to grow.

 

Today, we fully believe and trust in God

with our total being, opening our

arms to the universe ready to receive!

A LIVING REFLECTION

 

Touch life tenderly today, realizing

for the most part, it is our personal

creation, a reflection of our thoughts,

desires, selective interpretations, hopes,

and wishes – always mutable – ready

to transform before our eyes when asked.

 

Feel the current and flow of life today –

reach in and touch its momentum, drift

with it through the day, or change its

course, sending it obediently rushing

in a new direction – always strangely

mirroring our deepest sentiments

and emotions.

 

Welcome life today, participating in it

fully, knowing we each contribute to

its communal projection – flickering

thoughts uniquely envisioned by each

presenter – a cornucopia of inspired

intentions – unfathomed by a single

participant – best experienced in unison

with others.

I am in the process of reviewing all of

my previously unpublished Affirmative

Thoughts written since 2009 –  sifting

through to see if  I have, possibly,

overlooked useful guidance that I

should now consider publishing on

the blog, or even as part of the

Affirmative Thought book I am now

compiling for publication. The note

featured below titled The True Story,

I believe is worthy of a fresh look.

The words we use to describe our

lives have power – the power to

attract, the power to manifest,

the power to alter our lives for

the better: or, for the worse.  

 

Often we interpret the slings and

arrows of outrageous fortune as

some sort of red badge of courage –

as if they define who we are within;

yet, in reality, they often become

our fixation, our target, rather than

what we are overcoming, moving

beyond, or better yet, running away

from.

 

As the note below reflects, often

the true story is the whole and

perfect story – the story of our

magnificence: even if it is still

on its way.

 

THE TRUE STORY

 

Today, let us tell a new story

about our lives, our experiences,

our personal existence – a story

of what we wish to encounter;

intend to cocreate and manifest

in this world – the story written

by our divine self rather than

our ego.

 

Today, let us tell only a story of

happiness, joy, and success – a story

reflecting the magnificent life that

is waiting for us to receive  it – a story

of prosperity, of love, of triumph 

where every breath and every step

takes us closer to our bliss.

 

Today, let us tell the “whole and

perfect” story – the story God has

prepared for us to live – full of

enthusiasm, creativity, wonder,

magic, and invincible growth –

the true story!

New Thought proponents propose –

more accurately conveyed as

sincerely believe - we humans exist

within a shared consciousness –

and this consciousness is perpetually

attracting what we hold in our

imaginations – and through this

attractive force - when accomplished

with full belief and alignment, we create

in our physical lives, what is imagined

in this consciousness - positive or

negative.

 

New Thought folks consider this a

spiritual law. As the note below suggests,

it is easy to see this law as just so much

spiritual hocus – pocus. But, I have done

my experimenting and, personally,

I believe in the magic.   

 

HOCUS - POCUS

 

Often we must stretch our imaginations,

to see clearly the magic in the world,

for when our imaginations take hold,

our powers are supernatural, things only

vaguely wished for, desired, now find form,

solid and substantial, in our day-to-day

living.

 

Perhaps we might do well to delve deeper

into this phenomenon, and rather than

resist or dismiss such hocus-pocus,

we instead apply our science, testing

the premise with an experiment or two,

conjuring up our own creations.

 

As we do, let us keep in mind where

all creations first reside, imagined 

by an originator, whose mental magic

was so inspired to put wheels where legs

had been, with seats replacing stirrup

saddles – as horsepower no longer

required a horse.

Incantation – a series of words said as

a magic spell or a charm or a spiritual

ritual. In magic, occultism, or witchcraft

an incantation is often used with the

intention of casting a spell on an object

or person. As a spiritual device, it is

usually intended to invoke or praise

a deity.

 

Last week, we opened the new year of 2015

discussing the mind as a creative instrument,

especially as it pertains to the Law of Mind

Action or Attraction. We highlighted the

role of  “a figment” of the imagination,

using this term to represent the kindling

needed to start a fire of intention, one

that will result in actual tangible output,

in this law based process of cocreation.

 

It is essential to note this cocreative law,

referred to here, conveys that the universe

is structured to create for us - whatever

we hold in thought with strong intention

and unwavering faith - with our minds,

figuratively, connected to a virtual 3D

printer, replicating our thoughts, in

real-life, tangible matter.  This is the

good news.

 

The not so good news is that our minds

suffer from Psychic Entropy and almost

unmanageable mind wandering, as we

reviewed in Chapter 10 of Finding God

On The Train titled Mind Control –

Control of Consciousness. Even if

we start out with the best of intentions,

often through this mental deterioration,

we find our figment lost in a negative

mindset, or at least, exhibiting far less

than unwavering belief.

 

This is where the use of affirmations -

affirmative declarations may assist us

with maintaining a conducive cocreative

inner environment. Let’s consider the

concept of “incantations,” to underscore

the need for these positive mantra based

statements, to be repeated like charms

or spells or chants - envisioning a shaman

or medicine man or women dancing and

chanting in our heads, possibly shaking

incense or some magic substance - creating

an endless loop of positive thought, a spell

of positivity, thus warding off the entropy

and the wandering mind from establishing

second guessing or disbelief.  

 

Now, with this in mind, read the note

below and consider taking some time

to craft a workable charm or spell,

to support whatever figment of intention

you would like to cocreate. Remember,

use your tailored incantation to avoid;

second-guessing, minimizing your efforts,  

or criticizing this entire process.

 

One of my favorite incantations is:

 

I am a magnet for positive outcomes.

All good comes to me now.

 

So, when you are unleashed and ready,

with a personalized incantation in hand,

start intending.

 

UNLEASHED AND READY

 

Affirm yourself, empower yourself,

with words and thoughts and visions

of strength, of confidence, of skillful

capacity, realizing the true power

you possess to create, to accomplish,

to bring to tangible form all you

intend.

 

It is time to infuse your heart,

soul, mind, and consciousness with

the beauty, the wonder, the splendor

of you – aligned and purposeful,

with you unleashed and ready for

positive action.

 

Today assess your inventory of natural

skills, abilities, talents and potentials –

knowing whatever you dream

will spring to life – unlimited,

unrestrained, without issue –

realizing and tapping into the

cocreative divine energy generating

with you, through you, for you!
