Fear is a frequent theme, or topic, of my meditative

connections with God. Personally, fear often stands

in the way of my obtaining a full, abundant, and

authentic life.  The Meditation Note, below, clearly

outlines the many faces of fear, offering some

advice for moving beyond it.

DO NOT BE AFRAID

Fear will limit your progress towards enlightenment.

To be afraid – to fear - is your belief that you are not

aligned with God. In fear, you struggle and protect,

for fear is the ego’s tool to keep you away from Spirit.

Fear pulls you into a hard shell for protection – it

makes you see others as strangers and adversaries,

instead of brothers.

Fear is a direct communication to God that you

do not believe the way will be prepared. Fear is

the lack of faith. Fear comes from lack and not

from abundance, hope, or trust. No love or

kindness can be emitted by fear - no soul

thrives or expands.

When fear is present you are always angry.

You are angry at what you are missing, should

have but don’t have, need but are not getting.

Fear makes you angry with yourself

and angry with the world for not providing.

Fear of not getting what you should have gotten,

fear of losing what you have, fear of what may

happen, and fear of life, all leading to anger,

because you are frustrated by your own

vulnerability.

You are angry because, if you actually obtained

the needed item or feeling,  you would not be

afraid. Many children are angry at their parents

for not protecting them from fear. With fear,

there can never be love, since creation cannot

move out of fear – fear is withdrawn, non-life,

and there can be no growth in fear.

Shed your fear, and begin to trust your faith

in God to connect and move you to your

enlightenment. Trust that these struggles are

lessons: and your being frustrated and angry

only moves you further away not closer. Have

faith in life’s positive intentions. Have faith

in the source, God, life energy - can only

have your best intentions at heart - guided by

empowering the best life for you.

You lack the faith to understand that there

is and always has been a reason for what happens

to you. Your thoughts provide the momentum and

direction – so what is created is in alignment with

your intentions and desires. Your negative, fear

based interpretation sets you on a negative path,

leading you away from the center of  love and

enlightenment.

Let go and focus your thoughts on believing and

receiving. Believe that what you need for an

authentic, aligned life, will be manifested.

Prepare for the receiving and fully incorporate

the future into your mind.

Prepare the way through love and not fear. God

will do God's part.
