see clearly what needs to be accomplished

and have a plan for bringing it to life.

 

There is no need to be timid when

you have the answer – have the abilities

and skills to turn it into a viable solution –

without concern or fear of failure.

 

There is no need to be timid today,

so be prepared to move forward in

your preferred direction – pushing

past the confusion of others as you

improve life for all concerned.

METTLE MOMENTS

Often life requires of us more than we

feel prepared to deliver, yet someway,

somehow, we reach within to discover

an ability, a talent, perhaps a patience,

or a forgotten strength that has been

mysteriously summoned to usable

awareness.

 

These are the moments that test our

mettle, moments that make our hands

shake and our hearts race, yet it is

precisely these moments that frame

our stories, add luster to our memories,

and define our emotional legacy.

 

So, as these moments erupt, and erupt

they will, keep these thoughts in mind,

as the tempest swells and spins, open

heart and soul to the task at hand, know,

in time, the seas will calm and the storm

will abate, as all returns to a steady state.
