FACETS OF LIFE/LIGHT 

The gem of life offers

            distinct facets of light,

hold it in contemplation,

            examine its flashes and shards;

 splashes of light,

                        chips of light,

                                    tossing the senses

                        to and fro,

    with clarity,

then explosions,

            then reflective wonder:

know this is the very

            nature of God’s scintillation,

present in every intimate

            and minute detail,

an orchestrated marvel,

            a dance of divine illumination -

                                    focus as you will;

fully recognize that

            each delicate spark conveys

                        one note of a more

magnificent image –

            a truth reflected.
