CLARITY OF INTENTION  

Clarity of intention forms the basis of cocreated

existence. Formulate in words with strong emotion

a set of proposed intentions. Document and

remember each in vivid detail, breathing life

and energy into their beingness, creating each

within your consciousness and soul.

 

Now, with an inner declaration, inform the universe

of your creative intention, of your complete belief

in the intended outcomes, fully expecting what

is required to be set in motion, accelerating the

cocreation needed to proceed onward, believing

fully in positive outcomes.  

 

Spend visionary thought time with each intention,

immersed in the details until the vision takes shape

and life; and within take up residence, living within

this expected reality, existing clearly with a firm belief

in the proposed reality of this cocreation effort.

Animate and activate these visions, willing

them into being – whole, vibrant, alive.

Immersion - the act of immersing (dip or submerge)

someone or something in liquid, deep mental

involvement, baptism by immersing a person bodily.  

 

There are some words that are just more potent

than others, in both a secular and a spiritual sense,

immersion is one of them. Linked with the activity

of baptism and contemplation, it calls for total

commitment, seemingly disavowing any notion 

of being partially involved. 

 

As the note below conveys, in a spiritual sense,

there is no partial or half-living of our authentic

lives - being half authentic seems to be missing

the mark. Sometimes I need to remind myself 

that to obtain enlightenment, I must be fully

immersed in this spiritual pursuit, even if this

is not easy. 

 

At the core of any spiritual quest, there needs 

to be a Divine connection where we take the 

time to commune with God, Spirit, Source,

the Beloved, or whatever name you feel most

comfortable with using.

 

Although I believe that entering the silence while

meditating sets the stage for us to hear the voice

within our souls whispering a message,  I also

realize that through the very act of living, our

Souls linked with the Divine convey the wisdom

we are intended to comprehend.

 

Let's all opt for full immersion today.

 

FULL IMMERSION

Today let us allow our lives to speak

    to us, providing gentle but useful

        direction as to the next step and

    the way forward – knowing within

        these moments of living a lesson

is revealed.

 

Today let us hear the voice within

    our Souls whispering a message so

        clear and significant, it resonates

            a warmth, an inner peace, beating

        out a rhythm of wisdom as our

hearts leap, and our feet dance.

 

Today let us understand no partial

    or half-living of our authentic lives

        will do; let us realize only full

    immersion will ease our hungry

        spirits wishing to make every

    moment count, every day a festival

of intended happiness enjoyed.

THE QUEST

We are each on a spiritual journey, both individual

and solitary, in search and pursuit of our own divinity –

the God which lives within us – the God we are and

will always be. Each life we encounter along the way

is involved in this becoming - whether realized or

unaware.

 

It is your spiritual mission to allow this journey to

unfold within you as your Divinity within – deep

within – pushes you towards the fresh breath

of new life – maneuvering your soul through

the illusion, the fears, the doubts, the ego’s dreams –

and even, at times –  resuscitating the Divine you,

pounding on your chest until a heartbeat appears

and a gasp of consciousness is surrendered.

 

This awakening is not easy – it requires the resolution

of the conflicting voices in your mind – the demons

of your own journey to be faced and overcome in the

effort to create a sort of symbiotic coexistence in a

This Divine becoming requires the courage to risk

all of life for the essence of true life – to die to be

THIS GOD 

Let us ascend into the full light and essence

of Divine love, this God, our God, provides

the very fabric and texture of being – not

from a remote location or vantage point,

but from here and now, intertwined with

our existence.

 

No need for supplication, for this God,

our God has never turned away from

our strivings, our becomings, our tender

tears: always one with us, alive with us,

within us, conjoined forever.

 

We are not alone; never are we, or were we,

or will we be alone, without God’s grace –

for this God, our God, ensures a perpetual

presence of caring and concern, championing

DO WE HAVE SPIRITUAL POWER?

ARE WE POWERFUL, POWERLESS,

OR SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN?

 

Let’s discuss the most popular spiritual power,

which is the ability to manifest, cocreate, or attract

into our lives and what we focus on mentally.

Best known as the Law Of  Attraction. 

 

My guidance often refers to this as the “Power

To Manifest.” To start off this discussion, I will

reach back and republish a few posts that cover

this ground fairly well.

 

If any of this is new to you, I suggest taking the

time to read Chapter Three of Finding God On

The Train titled New Thought Spirituality

Yesterday and Today, for a quick primer,

available under the Book Chapters tab on 

the right-hand sidebar on the blog.  

                   

COCREATING WITH GOD                                  

A key concept in New Thought is the Law of Mind

Action, better known these days as the Law Of

Attraction, which features our ability to cocreate

with God.  It took me some time to accept this

concept that we could actually tap some innate

spiritual ability, and manifest what we hold in

consciousness into the physical world and that

this happened without much effort. 

 

Having seen this Law in action, I now believe

it is true but is dependent on our full belief

in the process. Since this has been an area that

I have struggled with, and I have received much

guidance on how to make this a reality. In the 

Meditation Guidance below titled, The Power

To  Manifest, I am given a very clear look on 

how to approach the power of cocreation.

 

THE POWER TO MANIFEST

You have the power to manifest whatever

you need or want into your world – to

bring it to being – to bring to life your

visions, dreams, and fantasies through

the pure focusing of your mind.

Cocreating through your thoughts and 

connecting with God's energy – all of life –

abundant and authentic life awaits.

  

All that is needed is your belief and the

clarity of your thoughts and emotions. 

You must suspend doubt, fear, and

contradiction, and with all your mental

focus, visualize, and emotionally envision 

the action, person, place, event, circum-

stance, or thing you want to manifest

into this world.

  

The natural and spiritual law, through

right attraction will send out the signal

through the spiritual network and

the result will manifest – cocreated through

right desire and fixed focus. If you are 

aligned in thought and emotion – this

power creates an unstoppable signal

of vibrational desire and the result

will come.

  

You must always be ready to receive,

ready to receive your creation – your

mind creation from the network - in

order to receive the delivery. First,

believe, then with clear emotion and thought 

focus on the desired manifestation, 

and then prepare to receive.

 

Do not doubt, do not question, and do

not become impatient. Work today on

constant positive manifestation. It is

time to manifest the magnificence 

of your life.

service, to be tapped in moments of our

greatest need – ready to provide a fresh

Since early 2008, the Hollow Mind has been one

of my favorite meditation notes. To be mindful

and live in the Now, we need to clear out the noise

generated by our minds and focus on breathing.

 

As we all know, this is easier said than done.

But when we can accomplish this for ten minutes 

or for ten hours, we become a witness to life and

we take a giant step toward connecting with our

spiritual centers. 

 

This week, I am making a special effort to return

to the Hollow Mind.

 

HOLLOW MIND 

The hollow mind contains the spiritual universe.

Clear out the thought – the mantra of a disturbing

reality – clear out the fear of a morbid past or

a perceived consequence of the future.

 

Clear the mind, and you clear the Soul. Attain the hollow

mind – open – expansive – a blank slate of humanity –

for here is the gateway to infinity – all-knowing –

the Divine nature within.

 

Clear out the noise, the chirp of the forgotten child,

the fear of past cruel masters – clear out the debris

of physical want and make your mind hollow.

Focus on your breathing to turn off the constant

verbal barrage of the ego and the world indoctrination.

 

Clear out the noise – make the mind hollow.

And in the hollow mind meet the universe

of all connection – the portal to all enlightenment.

Connect and reach for the vision of the heartlight –

pure – thoughtless – all-knowing connection

of spiritual love and kindness.

 

The hollow mind does not come easy.

The senses and the insane thoughts seem to fill

it with the debris of the past. You must work

to focus your attention on the Now that requires

no thoughts – no reasoning. Avoid the false logic

of the ego, which lives to move you from the path.

 

The hollow mind is an empty vessel with infinite

capacity to experience the fullness and rich texture

of life.

 

The hollow mind contains the infinite spiritual

universe and the connection to the Divinity in you

and beyond you. The presence of the source, God,

all positive creation.

As I organized and compiled over twelve plus years

of daily Affirmative Thoughts for an eventual book

style publication, I ran across unpublished notes

that still reverberate with meaning for me, still

provide viable instruction, as is the case with

the note that is offered below.

 

As the hands and feet and heart of God, I believe

we are the agents of good for God in the world,

we are both the receivers and generators of this

good – we incubate this good by tending to our

spiritual business – living with love, compassion,

and empathy.

 

Whether we believe Jesus was the son of God

or the son of man, it matters not. What really

matters is the message he so clearly conveyed. 

Let us listen with fresh ears and an open heart.

Let us be the living and breathing incubators

of good in the world.

 

UPON THIS FERTILE SOIL

Today, in simple solitude, reflect upon the gifts

you have been given: the life you lead, those

who surround you, love you, and cherish you –

the work you do, the wonder you create

and share with the world.

 

Today, let go of the hoped-for future; 

the hoped-for outcome and return instead

to your ever-present life, not perfect but

manageable, not exactly the stuff of dreams

but worthy of thoughtful consideration,

and do the good you are meant to do now

upon this fertile soil.

 

Today, know, without concern, the waiting

good is forming as you clearly think;

believingly dream; consciously feeling during 

this very magnificent day unraveling around

you: so be here, now, present and engaged –

knowing this is the incubator for the good

to follow.

The pursuit of mind control centers on our ability

to fully accept the life we are living now, rather

than resisting what is appearing in our day-to-day

world. To “accept” is to say “yes” to what is

happening, understanding its importance in our

life now.

 

Even when our life is not what we had planned

or desired, it plays a key role in setting up the

contrast and show us what we truly want

to attract and manifest instead.

 

This is not passive acceptance, of course,

we will take this contrast and work diligently

to change what is changeable, but for now, 

today, let us stop the rampage of our egos

and accept what is!

 

This current life will also provide us with

insight into what mind control work we need

to undertake, including fully comprehending

and overcoming the fears and pitfalls of the ego

may create to sabotage our progress. 

 

The term “radical acceptance" is used

to emphasize that this is not easy but takes

great strength and courage. 

  

ACCEPTANCE VERSUS RESISTANCE

You must strive to accept who you are,

where you are and what you are, in order

to find peace and learn that these experiences

in your life do not fully define your life.

 

These experiences are challenging, frustrating

and at times - appear insurmountable but are

only momentary – temporary –and your fear

focus makes them incomprehensible when 

they are really merely a moment in time.

 

Placing your self-worth on these experiences is

foolish and leads you only to anxiety, frustration,

and hopelessness. You are not what you experience –

you are not less because what you are attempting

does not work out as planned. Living this way only

leads to turmoil and a roller coaster of emotions

and self-doubt.

 

You cannot judge yourself by the success or failure

of your life, for these are short-lived – transitory –

and have no meaning. Use these experiences to

practice being above the outcomes and learn from

the struggle.

 

Learn to understand that you contribute to these

experiences through mind action, self-doubt, and

self-recrimination. Ask what you are to learn from

this experience and how you could have reacted to it

differently. Did you resist, did you not accept?

 

Acceptance and non-resistance are the keys to

surviving and growing as a spiritual being.

Today, accept and react without ego – without

emotion and know all is as it should be –

and life is on track.

wellspring - an original and bountiful

source of something: the source of a

spring, stream, etc., the fountainhead.

 

originate – to bring into being;

to create something original;

invent; start.

 

originator -  (an entity, a being or), 

a person who creates or initiates

something.

 

WELLSPRING

Beyond the open threshold of our

anticipation – where hopes, and dreams,

and desires all collide into semantics,

where one overwhelming urge propels

us forward, to connect and be connected

with the originator, to understand

why or why not.

 

When we reach out to the wellspring 

of  our existence, to experience the

fullness: the limitlessness that is our

very  birthright, do we ever truly grasp

and comprehend that the boundaries,

the conditions, the restrictions

are comprised of our own false

perceptions.

 

If we, within our prayers and our

contemplations might profoundly

accept the flow of good is without

bounds; no parceling out, no allotment,

just an endless supply of health, wealth,

success, prosperity, happiness, love and

so much more: we might reconfigure

our approach to living, being, and existing.

However, we envision the originator,

of our existence -  a consciousness,

a force, a spirit, a holy ghost, a being

sitting on a large throne; we need

to fully comprehend that this entity

acts as a spiritual “wellspring,”

a source of our abundance and good.

 

The note above, in this regard, reminds

us that our personal interpretation

of God is, at the onset, flawed by our

limited and restricted conceptual

abilities: and instead, we need to

accept the possibility that there

is only an endless supply, with our

faith serving as the faucet.

 

Today,  let us all heed this advice,

reaching out to our wellspring through

our prayers and contemplations,

with no negative thoughts allowed,

only a sustained, ongoing positive

vestige of openly armed belief, connected,

attached, ready to reconfigure our

approach to living, being, existing.

There are times in our lives when we need a place

to go to rest and find peace. The Affirmative Thought

below serves as a reminder for all of us that there

is a place of peace and harmony available within us -

an oasis of spirit, an internal center of God's grace.  

When we find ourselves in need of  a respite from 

the noise of the world, I suggest taking a few minutes

and  following the simple directions offered - focus

on the breath and the heart while centering thoughts

and revitalize your convictions –

preparing you to return refreshed.

 

Know this oasis of spirit is God’s gift

John Locke’s Essay Concerning Human

Understanding was published in 1690,

defining consciousness as “the perception

of what passes in a man’s own mind,”

establishing what would be the modern

concept of consciousness.  

 

Since Locke’s opening gambit, scientists,

philosophers, psychologists, and mystics

have studied and pondered “the perception,”

leaving us still no closer than Locke with a

comprehensive understanding of the origin

and full dimensions of human consciousness. 

 

Lately, I have been focused on consciousness -

praying and meditating, requesting additional

guidance and clarification, hoping to further

explore what is, at least for me, the backdrop

for our existence and the basis of God in

our lives.

 

I am especially interested in what the message

has defined as the levels of consciousness,

as I am planning to outline and share in

Part Four of the Finding God On The Train

Story – encompassing our “personal or

local consciousness,” which is incorporated

as a subset of the more comprehensive

“nonlocal collective consciousness” of all

sentient life, again a subset of  Divine

consciousness, comprising the first two

levels, as well as all life that has previously

existed.

 

My hope is to join the “consciousness

debate” by offering a more comprehensive

theory of consciousness based on my

guidance.  So, as demonstrated by the

meditation guidance below received one

morning last week, my request for

guidance on this subject is being

sporadically answered, and as received,

I will share.

 

VISTAS OF CONSCIOUSNESS

Below the surface of being exists,

the underpinnings, the threads, and needles,

the substructure connecting allness to all else,

the energies, the particles, the bits, and the

pieces of viable existence, the base, the screen

on which, with which, reality manifests

and performs.

 

This is the sub-matter behind the matter,

the first thought preceding all thoughtful

connection, the conscious framework

we choose to consider reality a projection

upon a projection within our conscious

projection.

 

Realize the force of nature is in itself

the collective vision of billions of diverse

perspectives, an ingrained, hardwired

foundation expected to be, expected

to follow laws set in motion by an active God.

 

Consider and contemplate this interaction,

this mingling, this natural blueprint,

the vistas of consciousness, peering within

its marvels, miraculous flashes of light,

dwelling intently and deeply until the

props and fixtures are revealed, allowing

an awareness of the strings supporting

and holding in place this dimension,

these slivers of being give our world

form and function, mobility and energy,

purpose and proposition, as it flickers

in the projector's light.

As we pound away to form our sincere

impression on life, as we invest

substantial energy leaving our mark,

let us realize what is real and lasting

is the joy, peace, love, and happiness

we have shared with others.

Let our lasting monument be the

generation of these moments of

heaven on earth, as each present

an opportunity for the Divine within

us to connect with the strength

of will between us, making this world

a bit brighter and more livable.

sparks fly as our contributions erupt

When we approach our lives with loving-kindness

do we light up the world as the Affirmative

Thought below suggests? I think we do, and we

also light up our lives. But let’s be honest, it takes

a great deal of effort, at times, to focus our ego-driven

minds in this direction. This is possibly the reason

the Kabbalists and Buddhists have made loving-kindness

the centerpiece of Enlightenment. Let us not forget

Christianity is based on the love and kindness

focus of Jesus.

                  

LIGHT UP THE WORLD

Light up the world today with your love,

                  kindness, and compassion; 

  the world will love you back tenfold

                  as you open up the loving essence

     of the universe.

Light up the world today with simple

                  acts of kindness and compassion,

   showing the universe and all you meet,

                  your Divine nature, full of loving-kindness.

Light up the world today by transforming

                  your conflicts with others using

a new mindset based on love and caring.

                  Love your problems, and by doing so,

     dissolve your problems.

Light up the world today with love, compassion,

                  and kindness for yourself –

   fully encouraging and supporting your actions,

            allowing yourself to become your

     authentic self.

As much as I try to look beyond the state

of our current union, the level of our internal

hostility and bitterness seem to require,

at times, the only type of reminder I am

capable of offering or qualified to express –

a simple reminder that  beneath our

well-honed outrage that we are still,

and will always be, one - a singular we.

 

THE SINGULAR WE

Let us sit clear-headed,

perched near the edge

of the pond of our knowing,

leaving behind and shedding

the friction of common existence,

here only true essence matters:

the flow of pure energy,

the substance of our living,

as we wake to the moment,

realizing our solitude is now

replaced with the multitude,

as the infinity of us surrounds

the pond’s edge, stretching beyond

perception, each being connected

as the thread of light travels from

and through, heart to heart, Soul to Soul;

now, what was plural is singular,

a unity of perfect being.

COLLECTIVE SOUL CONSCIOUSNESS

In prayer and meditation, you connect with

the collective consciousness of all existence,

the consciousness of each person or living Soul

who is alive now or has ever lived or existed.

The faces you encounter in deep meditation

are the reflections of this conscious energy –

each a pattern or imprint of this life

consciousness – existing as memories of

all the lives they have lived.

 

This collective grouping of all Soul energy

combines to expand and reform constantly,  

and in total, creates the infinite consciousness

or universal intelligence - connecting all

humankind. This consciousness – collectively –

forms the ever-expanding consciousness of God –

the creative energy of existence.

 

Each question or request framed in prayer

and meditation connects to this Collective Soul

and is responded to in kind with the appropriate

answer or action. In this way, God harnesses

the collective life experiences of all who have 

ever lived as a reference - as consultants -

to what is real human existence.

 

Each of us, upon transition, will enter this

consciousness carrying with us the life

experience, the joys, the knowledge, the

creations, as well as the sorrow, the regrets,

and any evil personally created. In order to

find peace, those who have created hell on

Earth will be forced to reflect on their deeds

and seek resolution through the forgiveness  

of those who have been hurt. Those who have

created hell will carry their pain until

they are released or can attempt another

opportunity to live.

 

The Collective Soul Consciousness - the essence

of God - is the center of all knowledge and of all

love. It is the source of all cocreation – existing

and finding form as the Soul Consciousness

continually expands.

FLOW WITH THE CURRENT

Often, there is nothing we need to revise, change,

or alter to correct our course or improve our outcomes -

we simply need to flow with the current, allowing the day

to unfold as it will. 

 

Often, it is best to shift our attention away from the noise

and clamor of the needy and focus instead on the calm

and serenity of a manageable pace, appropriate action,

and the handling of true tasks rather than controversy. 

 

In all of this, often, we do our best not to elevate

the confusion or stir the commotion by adding our panic

or dismay, but instead remain calm, stout, and resolute

that within our tempered pace and focused breath,

we hold the key to any challenge.

INTERNAL PEACE

Peace – internal peace – the absence of mental

conflict – the full acceptance of what is in

your life now – the elimination of resistance –

this is the first level of enlightenment. 

 

Internal peace is the foundation needed to obtain 

a full connection with God and complete God-

Consciousness. It is the reward for the control

of your consciousness and allows you to turn

your sights on your own Divinity.

 

Internal peace occurs when your Divine mind,

your operational mind and your ego are in

sync and move forward without conflict.

 

Internal peace clears your energy for the pursuit

of oneness and wholeness required to reach for

authentic existence - purposeful life. This peace

is the freedom from stress, worry, doubt, fear,

anxiety, and depression - all signs of a lack of

hope and faith in God.

 

Internal peace readies your Soul for growing,

developing and becoming an essential part of

you – all issues have been resolved, all sins

forgotten and injustices forgiven, and you are

prepared to move on along the Crystal Path to

your enlightenment – your heaven on earth.

our vertical ascent, cautious to find the time to do it right rather

than be faced with reconstructing.

approach and well-honed skills, clear of our intentions and preparations,

knowing that in due time, our creations will be rock solid, able

to stand the true test of time, built on a foundation that is deep

torrent, noun. 1. a stream of water flowing

with great rapidity and violence. 2. a rushing,

violent, or abundant stream of anything.

3. a violent, tumultuous, or overwhelming flow.

 

We, the individual particles of humanity, 

on a macro level, flow torrentially; our streams 

of being inhabiting our earthly existence, 

stretching our sensibilities to become, to go 

beyond, to create, to evolve, to overcome

our propensity, our unbridled desire for

more of what is magnificent, as well as, 

potentially hazardous - our currents,

combined and solitary, create the great

ebb and flow, the tide of consciousness.

 

In essence, it is this torrent we must learn

to navigate, harnessing the very nature

of our natural momentum.

 

TORRENT

Nothing within our existence is stationary;

unchanging or static; rather, it is like a

spring torrent – rushing uncontained,

forming, then shifting, becoming again,

zestful, unhampered, or directed by what

was or what should be: and, so it is, with

each moment of life, appearing robust

then in pieces shattered, only to be restored,

formed, captured, and forgotten as swiftly

as it is generated profoundly once more;

and in this, with this torrent, we seek

to slow the pace, find a meaning, a common

thread, holding on for dear life, wishing for

stasis, when none exists, until, with reflection

and careful meditation, our pursuit of order

and control gives way to giving in, releasing,

an allowing, and we understand our place

in the motion and being of this torrent;

one not separate; contained; not impacted by –

we, the momentum rather than the moved.

For the past few days, I have been thinking

about patience. Possibly, it is my inner guidance

reminding me that I need patience as I work

through the incredible journey of writing and

publishing a book like Finding God On The Train. 

 

So I decided this morning I would publish

a note that addressed patience. I picked 

a journal at random, and I came up with this

meditation guidance below titled simply, and

I would say appropriately, Patience.  

 

PATIENCE

Have patience and let God work through your life.

Have patience and allow what is meant to happen

actually to happen. Relax and wait without anxiety,

frustration, or anger. Open your mind to recovering

the full joy of the day and your existence.

 

Have patience, for patience reveals and affirms your

faith and belief in God. Your fear and apprehension

display a lack of trust in the Divine order of life. Lack

of patience causes you to take missteps and create

Lack of patience is disguised as unbelief – it is not

letting God do the necessary and right work.

You want immediate action – immediate results -

but this is not possible.  Moving events quicker or

out of sequence is impossible.

 

You need to focus on the positive outcome that

you wish to appear, the solutions you request.

Vision or envision the solution you wish with

a force of strong emotion, and it will be cocreated –

in time - within the flow of expectation.

 

Be patient, pray, meditate, and relax into

your faith in God.

erupting force of viable life, let us know this:

from the very moment of first consciousness

our ancestors ripped at the light of the world

surrounding them, harnessing what was reachable

to create a more sustainable foundation going 

forward.

 

As we, in our lives now, add our footsteps to this

road, venturing onward, we must contribute, not

tentatively, but with our whole hearts, knowing

the very existence of future existence depends

upon the nurturing of this eruption.

Beneath the passion play of human existence,

exists nature, the natural, God’s world,

the simple order.  It is often easy to confuse

our constant state of human eruption with

what came first. When we settle down, rest,

meditate, dream, space out, pray -  we can

reconnect with and join this order once more,

realizing we, too, are part of this simple order.

 

A SIMPLE ORDER 

Tangible life erupts in mysterious ways,

like a fire at the end of a long evening,

a flash here, a spark there, a burst

of blue light ignites only to be snuffed

out by a gentle wind, lost in the embers

of its magnificence.

 

We live in discrete but connected

particles of consciousness, moments

always quietly present, simple, silent

reflections of our inner state of peace.

 

Reflect on the moment that surrounds you –

a slender song of opulent life calmly being –

no rush – no impatience,  just a simple order.

 

No need for doing – just enjoyable reflection –

life turning at its own pace – enjoin

its presence –  its nowness – listen

to its breath, listen to it sing,  it calls you

From time to time, I receive a note like

the one here offered, which rings true

but seems a bit too forceful or dogmatic.

So I tuck it away for another day, such

as today, when I feel the note needs

expressing.

 

I believe we (including me) who are

in the pursuit of a positive, personal,

and contemplative spirituality, do so

quietly, daintily, for fear of upsetting

those who would not understand

or approve.

 

Yet, if we are truly the tenders of the

garden, we need to realize our place

in this evolution of humankind and

all beingness. At one time, possibly,

the meek were to inherit the earth,

but this note below is in search of a

much stronger and more proactive

skill set.

 

SPIRITUAL WARRIORS/

TENDERS OF THE GARDEN

Let us be spiritual warriors, strong, solid,

fierce in our pursuits and undertakings, 

sincere, convinced, and undaunted in our

thoughts and actions, capable of great

tenderness, defenders of the right,

the worthy, the defensible, never

wavering from our pursuit of conscious

being evolved, living, pure, purposeful

intention.

 

Let us be spiritual warriors, fully prepared

to stand erect, allowing no one, no thought,

no misguided effort to counter our right

to be an individual, to be self-conceived,

to have a relationship with a living, vibrant

God: always a defender of any and all ways

to a life full of joy, peace, love, and happiness –

personal heaven on earth.

I believe, much like the early Hindus, that we

move towards enlightenment when we move

towards a conscious state that is one with our

Divine Self. This is the primary focus of the

Meditation Note below, guiding us to allow

our Divine Self to evolve.

 

DIVINE SELF BLOOMING

The Divine Self, like an ocean of spirit within

your consciousness evolves, grows, matures –

connected and one with God – fully present –

the Spiritual Self – the Soul within. This is your

indwelling God – your perfect you, always

present in the mystery of infinite intelligence.

 

Open your mind and heart to this Divine Self,

allowing it access to your life and the freedom

to evolve into you. Enlightenment truly is the

Divine Self  becoming fully conscious, and with

ego in tow like an errant child – moving through

consciousness to claim its Divine right –

its perfect place.

 

Search no further than your heart, for here

is the sound and fury of your liberation –

your becoming – one connected and whole

in Source. Tear off the rags of physical form,

walking without armor – with eyes closed –

ego in check – moving to the essence

of your Soul – God within – God without.

If today we focused on the activity rather than the consequences,

would there be tension, ill feelings, stress, or just a simple sense

of accomplishment when we are in sync and our whole being

and spirit are rightfully occupied? 

 

If not, look at the baggage we feel compelled to haul around

with us - remnants of past slights, that nasty look we received

when we didn't live up to our parent's expectations, perhaps

the taunts of insensitive childhood companions, or the unworthiness

we felt when we did not live up to our expectations. 

 

If we can, let us leave the negative baggage behind as we replace

this load with a better-equipped bag of positive reinforcers -

I am beginning to clear the underbrush and

plow the field in preparation for the writing

of  PART FOUR God Consciousness - The Divinity

Within, where I will offer an in-depth review 

of both the religious and scientific thinking

regarding the interaction of our Personal or

Local Consciousness with what has been

labeled as Universal or  God-Consciousness.  

I am going to use Personal rather than Local 

Consciousness because I feel it is more

descriptive, although either one fits.

 

Within our Personal Consciousness - as I have  

outlined in detail in Chapter 10, titled MInd

Control - The Control of Consciousness 

the message directs us to three components: 

the Operational Mind - our day-to-day mind;

the Spiritual or Divine Mind - our Soul and

internal Divinity, and the Ego - which attempts

to ensure our personal gratification and survival.  

 

The Meditation Guidance below, titled Human

Evolution directs our attention to the evolution 

of our Spiritual or Divine Mind as humankind, 

especially during periods of awakening, makes

a conscious effort to solidify this divine connection

and as a result, hastens the evolution of humankind

from the current ego focus to a spiritual or God

focus. 

 

This is what the Kabbalists, the Jewish Mystics,

refer to as "Godding" - where we strive to take 

on the perceived qualities of God. It has been 

proposed that this Godding is truly the next

evolutionary stage of humankind.

 

I would like to spend some time exploring 

the concept that the next evolutionary

stage of humankind is the spiritual expansion 

of human consciousness  - which would,

if successful, allow for the survival of

the species and, quite possibly, the world. 

 

Is this by chance, God's principal motivation

for reaching out to inspire this global spiritual

change?  Would genetic spiritual transcendence

actually, allow us to survive our own ego-based

potential for self-destruction and annihilation?

Are we who support this movement towards

the spiritual awakening really involved fueling

this spiritual and physiological evolution

of humankind?  

 

HUMAN EVOLUTION

The Divinity within us exists in Personal

Consciousness as a component of the Divine

Mind or Self will be the focal point for

humankind’s continued evolution beyond

the existing ego focus - leading to the true

acceptance of the next level of existence –

the establishment of our God nature.

 

This step in evolution will occur on a personal

collective level as each Soul learns to overcome

or marshal the ego forces, which create evil,

injustice, pain, and suffering of the current world –

thus allowing the Divine Mind to team with the

Operational Mind and reframe the conscious

focus by gaining ego support in this spiritual

purpose going forward.

 

As this occurs on a personal consciousness level

with greater numbers -  the collective or God-

Consciousness is also altered and joins into

support this evolutionary spiritual growth.

Through this evolutionary step  towards

the Godding of humankind, all existence

on earth is reframed as the divine or personal

mind is linked to God's mind for the creation

of heaven on earth.

 

A new ethic is born, a new morality engaged,

a vital vision of hope, peace, love, and happiness

grasped forever.

center of gravity, used to determine the vertical

After months of reading modern philosophy

to support my own theory of God-Consciousness,

I have been drawn back to explore the rationality

of the message of Finding God On The Train Story,

perhaps to provide it with a more coherent and

understandable framework.

 

Two key terms –  being and beingness – are at

the core of what I believe I am tasked to convey.

First, you and me and all sentient existence

provide the essence of what I would refer to as -

“conscious being,” that is, each individuated

being to some degree has been provided some

actual awareness: with us human beings having,

thanks to our language capability and our

expandable brains, the most refined and defined

capacity.

 

Each “conscious being” carries with it some 

degree a perspective of the world, always 

individuated but made similar by shared culture, 

education, signs, and symbols. Of course, much

of the infrastructure of our existence is provided

by “non-conscious beings” – earth, rocks, sand,

mountains, etc., that exist but do not fully

consciously contribute.  

 

Next, the “beingness” I refer to here is the

creative force and glue that allows all of us

“beings” to exist. Although we struggle 

to describe and name this force; it represents

the essence of tangible existence, it is for most - God;

pushing us to authentic aliveness, stretching us,

growing us, evolving us to become more.

Although we disagree as to its nature, it is,

 for many, a force for all that is good in the world.

 

The note below further clarifies being and

beingness, and our intricate, intertwined

relationship.

 

BEING AND BEINGNESS

We are each of us, singular or in the plural,

the being of beingness, as its very essence 

stretches to enlarge, grow, and evolve 

through existential interaction.

Let us comprehend our primary cause,

our purposeful effect. Let us embrace

the beingness as it fuels our mastery

of life, of living, as it works with us, and

through us encouraging, prompting,

clearing the way for our and all humanity’s

progress. Touch the beingness within you

and surrounding you; listen deeply and

intently – working to discern its message,

knowing all this is essential to all aliveness;

celebrate the intention of collective being,

aware of the gentle hands of beingness

prompting the full accomplishment of

heaven on earth: be the being of beingness!

SLICE OF TIME 

This thin slice of time we now inhabit reveals

only the immediate moment, as we, in conscious

adaptation creates a fuller, more multidimensional

perspective of past and present incorporated,

well on its way to an imagined future. With this

lens in place, we maneuver these settings

to comprehend this expression of existence.

 

Perhaps this present – this prelude to the future

is but a convergence of multi-moments, a sum

of probable alternatives that, in an infinitesimal,

momentary calculation forms a sort of sum over

history, an average of all possible scenarios,

to select and give us, as our best and most

suitable reality – our now.

 

Limited by our perception, we must

be aware that God’s perspective is fuller,

more inclusive but still impacted by the

complexity of multiple frameworks, alternatives

selected and abandoned, along with the power

of will and choice in every sentient participant

in this existence, so no static, fully framed

future can exist,  just an ocean of possibilities

waiting to be perceived, then combined,

and finally, to arrive as a slice of the present

time for us to live again.

As we pursue the goals of this day, let us aim for sure and steady

progress, realizing all things will be handled in turn without

thoughtless confusion or ill-advised panic, but accomplished

with clear conviction and sound determination. 

 

As we pursue these goals, let us not forget to lead the way

with compassion and kindness for those who follow or will be

impacted as we remind ourselves that we, too, deserve a similar

treatment, making even this work fun using plenty of love,

recognition, and smiles to lighten the load. 

 

As we pursue today, let us be thankful for even this opportunity

to do meaningful and essential work to test our limits as we

As I have presented the God I met on the train,

I have realized that “my God,” instead of being

a separate entity is intertwined with and coexists

with all of sentient life, an active partner instead

of a controller of humankind, existing as a creative

force, like a kiln where our ideas can be fired and

given lasting form.

 

The note below, titled Tangible Creation, expands

our perspective of the creative force of God in our

lives, telling us that our contribution is the total

focusing on our emotionally charged desire, fueled

by complete belief.

 

TANGIBLE CREATION

Tangible creation is envisioned as desire

formed into existence through the power

of cocreation, through your Divine Spirit 

connected and one, with God’s force and

the power of creation.

 

Tangible creation is thought in form,

substance, where the imagined becomes

real takes life and appears in front of you.

 

Tangible creation springs from total focused

desire, uninhibited by the thought of lack or

impossibility – empowered by emotionally 

charged belief, powering the connection

to both your and God’s creative force –  

a life force combination so infused with

potential – intention – that it becomes real –

takes shape – and inhabits conscious form.

 

Tangible creation is your birthright – is at

the essence of the human spirit – the Divine

Soul – a power so vast but often unutilized, 

except for those who marshal its forces and

work to create the world of their dreams –

their heaven on earth. A power fueled

by complete belief, the absence of doubt,

loving desire, and faith in the creative

power of the Universal Mind.

 

Here is the universal power at the fingertips

of humankind. Learn it, harness it, and

create with it now!

AN ESSENTIAL NOTE

We are each a distinct, unique, and succinct

      expression of life – a leaf, a petal,

a magnificent wonder birthed

     in a moment of time to flourish and

shine – a vestige of a creative force

budding and blooming, reaching out

    to fuse its original destiny.

 

    In this presence, we singularly grasp

the torch of all existence surging forward

    with our soul’s strength to forge our

desired contribution, etching upon this

    eternity a lasting wonder – a flash

of beauty upon the retina of all existence.

 

Knowing all of this is a perfect moment

    never forgotten or erased, instead, an

essential note in the symphony of

    this perfect being forever pushing and

encouraging each tone, hereafter, to

    reach for timbre yet unheard of –

unimagined – reframing the sonorous

Lately, I have been reviewing my journals, and when

inspired, publishing the Meditation Guidance from

my early years on the train that have never been

published on the blog. I had not read this note

featured here since I transcribed it in 2011.

 

As the note below titled Shame and Forgiveness

posits God has already forgiven us, even before

we pursue it. God's role seems to be to assist us

through the self-forgiveness process, which requires

our facing the truth, assuming responsibility for our

actions, and making amends for our transgressions.

 

SHAME AND FORGIVENESS 

Forgiveness is only fully possible through God

for those acts that have created pain for others;

have disturbed the universe, have resulted

in loss, grief, turmoil, and hurt.

 

These acts often locked away in the back room

of our psyches are like a monster hidden in a

trunk – demanding awareness – requiring 

 

restitution.

 

These are the acts that create the feeling of

overwhelming remorse – shame – dwelling in

our consciousness – and when not dealt with,

punishing us each day.

 

These acts require universal recognition,

needing to be fully revealed, addressed by us,

along with the victims and the universe.  

Karmically, we must settle in order to go on.

 

This level of forgiveness requires complete Divine

intervention and assistance – a need to reveal

the truth through prayer, asking God for forgiveness.

This is not done because God has to forgive us –

because God has already forgiven us – it is needed

to aid us in our own forgiveness – it is needed

to allow us to be released and freed from this inner

turmoil - letting this burden be lifted – for our  

dis-ease to be cured.

 

God wants us to move beyond this transgression

and be renewed – to be clear to move forward

without continued self-punishment – to be

released from the bondage of our own self-created

turmoil – to enable us to find balance.

 

Today, in prayer and meditation, open up the trunk

and reveal the truth– comprehend its impact on all

concerned, asking God to guide you on what needs

to be done to alleviate your guilt, pain, and suffering,

while making restitution to those who have been

hurt. Continue until fully released.

 

Know you are forgiven, and be grateful.

FAITH

It is faith that is the foundation of belief –

faith that positive outcomes are our intended

and only viable destination, faith that we are

destined to receive our greatest good if we

are willing to let go of the reins and trust

the momentum of God’s grace will lead

us there.

 

Have faith today in the magic that surrounds

us, the order of natural laws, including the

law of God’s love, set in motion to carry us

through even our darkest hours, our own

doubt, to carry us to the dream, waiting,

but yet realized.

 

Let us quiet our minds today and return to

our abundant faith, letting the worries

dissolve, and the fears dissipate as we return

to our core belief in the greater good and love

of the universe – God’s love always unfolding.

Let us work to reclaim what is truly ours today: our courage,

our strength, our confidence in the power we possess —

the birthright so often lost in self-generated fears

and condemnation, the spark of Divinity we carry within. 

 

Let this reclamation be complete and thorough, with no room

or allowance in our consciousness for unwarranted thoughts 

of a malicious sentiment - just the purity and clarity of our

true natures - who we represent - what we are entitled to -

our purposeful magnificence. 

 

Today, we reclaim and reinstate the presence of mind,

and body, creating heaven on earth, and the restoration

of infinite well-being.

TURNING POINT

Often, in the heat of living, we underestimate our capacity

for change, reconfiguration, and transformation, failing

to realize we hold the rudder within our grasp,

that in every focused moment, the turning point requires

only our vested intention. 

 

Whether this turning point only calls for a modest correction,

or a full about-face, the degree of change is ours for calibration, 

adjustable as we proceed - no maneuver fixing our placement

or direction, but in truth, fully malleable - pliable. 

 

Today, let us study our course of action, conscious of its

ramifications, easily releasing our grip on past intentions

if advantageous, open, and ready for inspiration if available,

knowing turning points are often our finest soulful expressions,

where will and fate meet, where destiny is forged.

HELP IS ON THE WAY

Often, when we least expect it, help is on the way.

The conundrum unravels, the hot issue cools off,

the potential demise is averted, the misdirection

is appropriately rectified, and what was once dark

is now rightfully illuminated. 

 

Yet, as serendipitous as this may appear, we are fully

aware of the source of this good fortune, the invisible

hand moving these disjointed and disparate threads

into a whole cloth, the perpetrator of unseen grace

in our lives. 

 

So today, let us proceed with a full measure of confidence

that our good will arrive on time, as needed, with no cause

to fret or dismay, requiring only a small portion of faith,

an unwavering belief in the totality of Divine love.

When a solution is needed, it is often found

in the middle ground, where two perspectives

overlap – the common ground where a

workable approach with the maximum benefits

waits to be discovered and revealed as the

best solution.

 

Today, let us find the common ground, working

to ensure all real concerns are addressed

as we strive for a win-win for all concerned,

realizing all must give and take freely

and fairly in the process – often by being

willing to give up getting all instead getting

the most of what is needed or desired.
