The following meditation note is, for me, one of the

better descriptions of God I have encountered in

my spiritual journey. How would you describe God?

                                    

ONE GOD  

There exists only one God – nameless – formless –

faceless - all power – all wisdom – all life.

The creative force of the universe –universal life

and love – the essence of all that exists or will ever

exist. Through God, the breath of life is given –

through God all minds are connected – all

vibrations set – all evolution transpires.

           

God is an energy of life – empowering and powering

all growth and development in the world. God is the

universal life force moving all life to greater beauty,

kindness, love, and potential. God is the authentic life 

force inside every cell of everything we encounter

or hold dear, a life force pushing us to become more,

better, fuller, more beautiful, wonderful, and glorious.

 

God moves through you, with you, and surrounds you –

is whole but formless and is all form. God is spirit,

God is power, God is all and God is the space between all.

No one needs to become God, because you are God, full

of God’s divine love and intention. Your spiritual mission

is to know this God potential – the living God in  you –

alive – in full vibration.

 

No man can stand for God – for God is all mankind, 

all existence. Man can move toward God consciousness,

connect with the God-self, and live within and with

the nature of God. Is this not the way of  Mohammed,

Moses, the Prophets, the Saints, Jesus, Siddhartha,

Lao Tzu and the others.

 

Connect and become one with God – the one God –

the all – and the all less.

EVER EVOLVING WHOLE 

We are each the individual expressions of an

ever evolving whole, creating and becoming,

forming new the energy of an expanding 

consciousness, breathing each breath –

formless – faceless but alive – always striving –

always conceiving – always being more.

 

Our acts of individual creation nourish

the whole - pushing our boundaries and

the limits of the whole. The power of this

creative force is love – the love of the

initiative – of boundlessness forever

reforming, multiplying the collective 

energy of all humankind – all existing life.

 

We are truly the living spirit of conscious-

ness – bursting forth in an infinite variety

of magnificence. We are one and living in

this whole – the true living spirit of God.

WE STRETCH 

Often we stretch to grasp something

beyond our reach, for a moment,

during the reaching, our balance

wanes and it is as if we become

unfixed, unhinged, lost in free fall –

with our minds calculating the merits

of retreat, or further tetherless

commitment, as a burst of adrenaline

stokes our aching pride, pushing

our outstretched desire within tentative

touch; now, we, realizing, as with all

of life's contests, more is required:

all we cherish must be wagered

to own this prize, and before our yes

is even conceived, our souls extend

our reach beyond comprehension,

grasping, at last, our surfeit destiny,

for now, our balance restored.

one with our becoming, in sync with

our mission, our purpose – grasping

outwards as we reach within for the

will and drive waiting for us to tap –

prepared for success.

 

Let us not just live today but thrive -

aiming for the sheer pleasure of full

throttle existence – no doubts, no

fears, no worries just one fluid heart

pounding clarity – palpable power set

in motion to achieve an unquestionable,

undeniable forward momentum.

 

Let us not just live today but thrive

being the very essence of the day –

harvesting its treasures while protecting

its dignity – letting all existence ignite

our spark of waiting genius – expanding

the limits of the infinite intelligence that

propels us.

 

Let us thrive today!
