Perhaps we have become too tame,

too civilized, too cultured; and in our

indoctrination, perhaps, we have lost

sight of who we are, unable to fully howl,

to roar, to dance to the ecstasy of  being. 

 

REFUSING TO BE TAMED 

Let us sit upon this universal

life and breathe freely,

for we are alive, flourishing,

enormously prepared to enjoy

each moment, celebrate every

gesture, announce to the skies

our destiny, our purpose,

unwilling to stand solemnly

or in repose; instead, joyfully

flinging our every limb,

physically testifying to the

eternal truth of our being –

aliveness so worthy and strong,

we, the participants, the bearers

of connected existence –

God’s chosen, everyone alike,

refusing to be tamed.

BETWEEN WAS AND WILL BE

It is truly in these moments of active

change when our lives appear to be

most confusing – even when our

direction ahead is well planned and

worked out – the strings of our old

life refuse to give – stretching taut –

pulling us into reminiscing, reminding.

 

These times betwixt require active

mental diligence, clarifying our thoughts,

recognizing when wishful sentiment

has clouded the realities we sought

to change and amend by setting

this fresh course.

 

Let us, during this time between

was and will be, recollect our well

forged intentions; far from arbitrary –

fully vetted and meticulously considered,

knowing what may pluck the heart

strings upon leaving, just as handily

stretched our patience and restrained

our well-being, our flourishing.

I am often lost within my own expectation

of what this spiritual life should be;

even as my guidance reminds me to

listen more intently, to pull back from

self-creation, to listen for the glorious

sound of my own divinity seeking

expression, my soul’s stirrings.  

 

A CLEARER BEING

All of life is easy, peaceful, and simple,

do not create it otherwise. Find its meter,

its pace, proceeding with its cadence –

alive and rightfully enchanted, knowing

this is your destiny, your purpose.

 

Allow what is to be, paying no heed to

what is not; listen for the stirrings and

yearnings of a clearer being, a more

precious progression, accept and

approach, in sync with the tune,

the tone, the stream of quiet wonder

waiting for your soul.

 

It is here within this pasture of serenity,

all will be, or even not be, what matters

is what is – soft, sincere, secure – ingest

its every sound, its aliveness and proceed.

I believe, just beneath the drone of our endless

mind chatter exists the inspired voices of our

divine guides and teachers, who along with God

itself, all sincerely attempt to reach us, like coaches

and parents on the sidelines at a little league game,

earnestly trying to get our attention, hoping to

impart not only well-meaning but sincerely

needed advice and guidance.

 

Yes, I believe the user manual for our existence

comes with audio, along with our own coaches,

if we will believe and listen. Since I spent most

of my life missing this point, I now carefully

document what I consider the inspired guidance

I receive and publish it here on the blog.

 

To accomplish this, all we must do is prayerfully

ask for assistance and listen.

 

DIVINE INSPIRATION

Stand firm in your convictions; undaunted

by the opinions, advice, or well-meaning

guidance of others; know even when life

seems most confusing, divine inspiration

will lead you, carefully, to the destiny

that waits.

 

Proceed with confidence, surefooted and 

full balanced, aware that your preparation,

intense and sincere, will see you above

and beyond any roadblock, any challenge,

any distress.

 

With a clear heart and a focused mind,

appropriately aligned to receive what

has been prepared for you, allowing

the universe to deliver your good fortune,

realizing the bounty will be plentiful,

the timing impeccable, the potential,

unlimited.

My spiritual guidance, which usually appears

in the form of Notes On Enlightenment,

Affirmative Thoughts, or Poems/Prayers –

for the most part, seem to be focused on

supporting the writing of  Finding God On

The Train Story – The Book and explaining

the Crystal Path paradigm.

 

Sometimes I am reminded of the central theme

of FGOTT – the emergence of the Crystal Self,

as outlined below and featured in Chapter Six

titled the Seven Facets of Crystal Consciousness,

available under the Book Chapters tab on the

righthand sidebar of the blog, 

 

Recently,  I recorded the following inspired

guidance.

 

A MORE FERVENT EXISTENCE

Let us today release our worldly desires

and expectations, shifting instead to our

more innate spiritual intentions, those

based on qualities of character and

disposition rather than blunt action or

simple achievement: love, well being,

compassion, flourishing.

 

As we turn our focus from practicality,

towards soulful expansion, stretching

our sense and sensibilities, realizing

we truly have more to offer than mere

impression, let us rise to our level of

greatest possibility.

 

Are we not alive and present for a higher

purpose, to foster a greater good, to water

and grow seeds of expanded capacity,

a more fervent existence, one more divine

then practical, transcendent, and other

reaching.

As outlined in the book rolling out on the

righthand sidebar of the blog, enlightenment

is described as living an authentic life,

when our spiritual self, our divine self, is fully 

aligned and merged with our physical self –

divine and secular – spiritual and physical –

moving in unison and perfect harmony,

which equals total self-actualization.

 

The guidance instructs us that an authentic

life – an enlightened life – is one that

recognizes our spiritual destiny, as well 

as our earth bound form destiny –

maximizing the full potential of our lives

and resulting in joy, peace, love, and 

happiness – heaven on earth; that is,

enlightenment.

 

I believe that the Affirmative Thought

above is set to remind me, once again,

of this central mission in the quest for

a positive, personal, and contemplative

spirituality, as outlined in  the note below

titled Crystal Self:

  

CRYSTAL SELF

The Crystal Self is the Divine Self – the Divine Soul

within you that is connected to infinite intelligence

and the power of God. It is your Soul - like a crystal –  

hard and durable – capable of growing and becoming

more. Through the crystal, all light passes and

becomes more, unfolding into a spectrum of a full life.

 

The Crystal of the Divine Self has always existed,

and will always exist, and is the essence of your Soul

spiritually evolving and becoming. The reason for

your existence is to rediscover this Crystal Self, follow

its path, and become one with your Divine Self/Soul

and begin to grow again, drawing strength and

power from your connection with the Infinite

Source, Spirit – God.

 

Cherish the Crystal Self and follow the path back

to your true consciousness – unreflected,

unexpected by the ego – which is constantly

forming and reforming to scare away and deal

with the threats of the world.

 

The path to enlightenment is the Crystal Path –

the path to the Divine you.
