Often, it is as if we see the world

in black and white, unaware

of the possibility of seeing in color,

and in this black and white world

we exist, living our lives, although

quite sure of something missing,

we cannot pinpoint what it is.

 

When we are awake, in and

with God, the color returns,

first in flashes and splashes,

later in vibrant moments,

and finally, the light of love

colorizes our total perception,

all of  it: we, it, they are alive

in light and wonderful color.

 

Then, only then do we understand

the true potential of existence;

then, and only then, do we know

Divine life, which is the very

radiance and colors of love,  

of full compassionate human,

being; of perfect life alive.
