forward without delay or hesitation, with a sense
of hope for what may only be a dim notion,
a hunch, an inspiration calling us towards
a greater and more potent good; beckoning us.
It is with this element of faith that existence
has been forged and formed, chiseled from
dreams and insights, thoughts and fantasies
alike, causing rational beings to forgo
a cautious now for the prospect of a riskier,
but more worthy tomorrow.
Every creative impulse and act is a reflection
of this yearning and learning process,
a bubbling up of possibility persuading our
smoldering desire to catch flame and ignite,
to form something from an extension
of thought, to use our sweat, our strength,
our determination to fulfill the destiny
of our evermore worthy existence.
