The pursuit of ourselves, as other than ourselves,
seems, to me, to be the central disbelief fostered by
the ego. We convince ourselves we are not worthy
in some way, not developed, not whole, in need
of amending, correction, editing, in order to be
viable, purposeful, and acceptable.
It is only when we realize that who we are,
now, is truly the perfect creation: by accepting
this fully we are able to walk in peace, experience
joy without question, touch our loving natures,
sense for the first time the happiness surrounding
us. Such a simple thought, which so often is hard
to fully comprehend. I work to convey this concept
of self-acceptance in the Affirmative Thought below,
to help us all keep this in our awareness.
AS WE ARE NOW
Today, let us realize that we are each
perfect as we are now – perfect at this
stage of our becoming and growing,
perfect at this stage of learning and
evolving – fully realized and one.
Today, let us realize that we are each
perfect as we are now – not out of
balance as our egos would have us
believe – not in need of tweaking,
but all we could have ever hoped
to be in this moment, at this level
of awareness – not “if only” this
was better – but instead believing
we are all, “as we should be,”
at this point in time.
Today, let us realize that we are each
perfect as we are now – divinely evolving –
spiritually transforming, on a journey
that needs for us to pass this way –
to experience this now on our way
to our destined potential.
