Have you ever had a time in your life when you felt you
were paddling up stream and no matter how hard you
tried things would not go right for you. Ann and I are in
one of those periods right now and while meditating
yesterday the first line of this note came to me –
When we are in the wrong place our lives resist.
I could not clear this phrase from my mind so I stopped
meditating and wrote down the affirmative note below
without editing for both Ann and me. Discussing this note
yesterday has helped us make an important decision and
to let go of the oars and listen to our hearts.
The Wrong Place
When we are in the wrong place,
living the wrong life – our lives resist –
our souls rebel – and as we continue
the seams of our lives separate as
the threads unravel –
what was easy becomes hard,
what was hard becomes harder.
When we are in the wrong place
the flow of life is disturbed as
we hold on in fear to the way it was –
to the safety and security which is
now unsupported – to the foundation
of our lives that should not exist
begins to crumble.
When we are in the wrong place
we need to surrender and
let our hearts take us home!
Let go of the oars!
