Often the words for a poem, or an
affirmative thought, come into my mind
with each line, clearly, mentally vocalized -
I simply write down the words. Although I
now know that these words are divinely
inspired, I often wonder about the timing
and the message.
I spent a few hours yesterday adding a
section to the introduction of Part Two
of my book in progress – Finding God
On The Train - defining and clarifying
the nature of the “God” I believe I have
encountered during my daily commutes
to D.C. , selecting the guidance from
seven meditation notes over the last three
plus years to help do the job.
In a meditation note titled Conscious
Connection that I posted on the blog on
February 21, 2010, which focuses on how
through our souls we are connected to God –
described as universal consciousness. Many
of the notes I have used for this section of
the book were posted during this same week
in February 2010 when we discussed the
nature of God.
I think the poem below that I have titled
Sacred Spot continues to explore the concept
of the divine self or soul as it relates to our
spiritual selves. The message seems to be
that this essence of our authentic selves
is infinite – “alive now but always living."
SACRED SPOT
Within the soul, there is a sacred spot –
this spot is the essence of you
pure authentic perfect you
alive now but always living
alive then but living again
alive when nothing else is living
only this holy spot of you.
Touch this spot and know
the infinite you, the godly you.
the connected you – the all of you
the you who has always waited
for you to be you – the full you.
Touch this holy spot of you.
